There's no entry fee. There are plenty of areas staged for cute fall photos and a playground area for kiddos with a sandbox. For minimal fees, they offer: apple picking, train rides, and informational tractor rides that provide information about the farm's establishment. There's also a store on site with all sorts of canned goods and tasty baked apple treats. The ambiance was so lovely- relaxed without crowds of people, plenty of parking and beautiful color-changing leaves to appreciate. We enjoyed our visit to Sunrise River and are looking forward to it being an annual family tradition.

Parking was free and easy. Once you get to the entrance gate, you'll be greeted by staff to show your admission ticket or buy tickets. It's reasonable priced. I purchased the admission with ride and getting a sunflower option. Service was fast and friendly. There's a station near the front to line up for the hay ride which approximately runs every 15-20 minutes. But my friends and I decided to explore other stations before doing the hay ride. There were mini houses and mini log cabin displays to check out. There was a mini kart race track that adults and kids can actually grab a kart and peddle around the track. That was a fun experience! There's also a okay ground that both kids and adults can play Through the courses.. Once we got through the stations, we headed back to the entrance to wait for the hayride. The hayride would bring us way back into the fields where you can see them growing peppers, sunflowers and pumpkins. We were dropped off into the sunflower fields to browse, take pics and then eventually able to pick a sunflower or flowers form the fields at the end per the packages we laid for. I had to leave early so I was t able to cut one for myself. But would love to come back another time to experience it again haha.

The lady at the counter was so friendly and sweet. She offered samples of the milk. I would never think about getting strawberry milk, but I had to as it was so good. The chocolate is fantastic too! The quality is like no other! I know this milk is sold in some of the stores around the cities, but it was fun to visit the farm. I'd like to come back for some of the icecream.

No smile, no hello, nothing to suggest I was anything but an inconvenience. Not once has any other employee demonstrated such cold, unwelcoming behavior. My fear is she may be the wife of one of the owners. I enjoy the store for many reasons but the poor customer service demonstrated by this woman, Cashier 0020, is reason enough to cease going. Bruce's management: if she is someone's wife, I feel sorry for you. If not, perhaps it's time to school the older gal in appropriate customer service. To Whom It May Concern,…read more I am submitting this correspondence as a formal complaint concerning the conduct of an employee at your store during my visit yesterday, 7/11/26 between 1:20 pm -- 1:30 pm. The treatment I received was unacceptable, inconsistent with reasonable customer service standards, and warrants immediate review by Cub Foods management! I approached the guest services counter for the lawful purpose of completing a purchase using United States coin currency, specifically quarters. At all times, I remained calm, respectful, and cooperative. Despite this, the employee refused to assist me. Rather than professionally explaining any store policy or attempting to resolve the situation, she made a dismissive remark, abruptly terminated the interaction, and walked away, leaving me standing at the counter without assistance! Equally troubling was the employee's demeanor. She displayed what I reasonably perceived to be open hostility, including an angry facial expression and narrowed eyes immediately before walking away. Her conduct conveyed contempt rather than professionalism and left me feeling humiliated and publicly disrespected. The employee represented herself as a manager. However, I observed that her name tag did not identify her as holding a managerial position. I request that Cub Foods determine whether she was, in fact, authorized to represent herself in that capacity. I am Latino, and I left this interaction with a genuine concern that I was treated differently because of my ethnicity. While I recognize that only a thorough investigation can determine the motivation for an employee's conduct, I cannot ignore the fact that I experienced treatment that was markedly discourteous, dismissive, and degrading. Every customer, regardless of race, ethnicity, or national origin, is entitled to equal treatment, dignity, and respect while conducting ordinary business. Accordingly, I request that Cub Foods promptly investigate this incident, including reviewing any available surveillance footage, identifying all employees involved, determining whether company policies or standards of conduct were violated, and taking whatever corrective action is appropriate. I also request a written response outlining the findings of your investigation and the measures implemented to ensure that customers are treated professionally and respectfully going forward. Organizations are ultimately judged not only by the policies they publish, but by the conduct they permit. I sincerely hope Cub Foods will treat this matter with the seriousness it deserves and demonstrate its commitment to providing all customers with fair, respectful, and professional service.
