Management is extremely unprofessional and does not care about customer service. The store is dirty. I will never return to this location.

I ordered tires from her for pick up. I am 8 months pregnant and the associate did not even offer to help bring the FOUR tires to my car. I understand with COVID there are restrictions, but an associate could have at least dropped them off behind my car. But no, instead I had to go find a cart, load the tires into the cart and bring them out to the car myself. No help whatsoever and did not even ask to help. I'll NEVER order tires from here again. I'd rather pay more somewhere else where I get better service. On top of that, the mechanics were not wearing masks when they moved cars in and out of the garage and there were employees who were not wearing their masks the right way. What a disgrace. read more

This Walmart is actually one of THE worst Walmarts I've had to experience. My brother and I came to get a kayak but there was absolutely no one to help us get it. The kayak was locked and tied down outside and we asked at least 7 times for assistance and no one came out. We waited outside for assistance for around 45 minutes until ultimately we decided to leave. Also the kayak has scratches on one side which was caused by it being dragged so we asked for a discount but they said they can't because they don't have the luxury of holding the kayak inside the building which is not true since other Walmart have kayaks in the building along with it being wrapped in plastic. You're not going to buy a brand new car scratched up and dealerships don't have the luxury of having all their vehicles inside the building. This Walmart absolutely sucks with the rude and unhelpful employees and management. And they think they deserve a pay raise. read more

The worst Walmart I have ever been in! The employees there hate their life and blame customers for their choices in life. This location is dirty, messy, never has enough open registers and the sales floor people never want to help or act like you are bothering them. I try to avoid going to this location even if it means paying more elsewhere or waiting a few days and ordering online. read more

Customer service is nonexistent. Lines are usually long. The fitting room attendant, along with every other employee in the store, is never even slightly friendly. Maybe because they're constantly answering all of the incoming phone calls at their little desk outside the fitting rooms. The store is usually messy. If you do see any employees, besides your unfriendly cashier, they will avoid making eye contact at all costs. Sadly, I wind up spending money in there because they have what I need at decent prices, hence the 2 stars. I wonder if Sam Walton is spinning in his grave over what his company has become. read more

This store sucks. Never more than 2 or 3 lines open on the busiest days of the week, mile long lines. Oh and come too late at night and there will be no registers open and you have to use self checkout. Took me 20 minutes to self checkout all of the stuff I had because there was so much stuff requiring typed codes/employee swipe etc. You can't have one line open? Where's all the money going to where you can't have any employees working the registers? More than half the staff are rude and treat you as an annoyance when you need something. Oh and also they denied my purchase of NyQuil because my NEICE was with me and didn't have her ID on her. She's f**king 14 years old, the NyQuil was for me. I was suggested "if you go outside and come back in a little bit without her we can allow the purchase". They pick and choose what policies they care about. They'll follow that policy but leave the store trashed. Spend the extra few dollars and go to target. Believe me. read more

I avoid this store at all costs. I'd prefer to buy something online, wait 2 or 3 days to have it shipped to me, and pay extra, rather than to go to this Wal-Mart. *Some* of the staff here can be friendly, but most are not. The store usually looks like a train wreck, like a mad rush just hit and there were no employees to straighten up the shelves. You can spend hours trying to find an item and either get no help, get sent to the wrong isle, or just get an employee who has no idea where anything is. I've never come to this store and had an employee ask if I need help with anything, which is common in many of your customer service oriented stores. The wait times are painfully tedious, especially at nighttime. I stopped in around 11pm one night to pick up some Christmas lights and waited in line for around 30 minutes - only one register was open and the store was packed with people. I will never do that again. Even during the daytime, the wait times can be quite ridiculous. This store has gotten so bad that they need to post a town police officer at the entrance to help keep the store safe. I'm grateful that the police are there, but it's terrible P.R. when you walk into a store knowing there's a reason police presence is needed. I'll never shop here again. read more

this is the dirtiest and the obnoxius staff ever work at this place site to store CS is terrible handling customer waiting like almost an hour just to get my things right the only nice staff there was the janitor lady that cleaning the lady , helped me out calling them few times and still no shows come on , if you want people going back using your site to store you guys need the proper training assistant manage in the daytime is lack of proper training , would never coming back , target and kmart is close by and they are nicer read more

On numerous occasions I have asked to buy and item and I was informed it was not in stock. Granted they have the normal walmart low prices, but it is difficult to find anything because of things being out of stock, misplaced, mislabeled, and no prices on items for purchase. Not only is there always a long wait to check out,and there is rarely more than 2 check outs opened, but the staff is extremely rude. The men's bathroom is so disgusting, I almost vomited. This is not just one visit, this is over the course of 9 years. I would prefer a port-a-potty over this locations bathrooms. My wife informed me the women's bathroom is no better. This location is very convenient, about a 10 minute drive. I actually go out of my way to the fishkill ny location which takes me 35 minutes because fishkill walmart is much cleaner and the polar opposite of newburgh. Word of mouth is strong, and I recommend to everybody I talk to, to not go to the newburgh location, and to take the time to go to the fishkill location. This walmart needs a drastic change, better staffing and better staff training. read more

This Walmart must love long lines. When I use to shop there at night all you see are long lines with 1 or 2 cashiers. They love self checkout. Maybe they should return the tax breaks they get. I am sure they promised the local community jobs. All these kids in the area looking for work and Walmart uses self checkout instead. Do I get a discount using self checkout? I think not! read more

They sell a lot of expired food. You have to look at everything perishable you want to purchase even if you are in a rush shopping. There have been so many items it's scary. I have found items months past their expiration date. With food being so expensive we shouldn't have to purchase old food. read more

So I have been here for almost an hour waiting on a package (order online pick up at the store) that should have been here a week ago. I came in and signed in and shopped close by the check in area to be sure not to miss the person bringing my item. The help button was pressed four times once by a manager and three times by an associate and I am still here waiting for my package. This Walmart is so ridiculous. I came in to some associates arguing and talking extremely loud and unprofessionally in the cooked food/bake area like they were outside hanging on the street. Its absolutely ridiculous... there's always an issue when I come to this Walmart. If they aren't trying to overcharge you they are being unprofessional. Ugh! A supervisor just came to help he said he's going to go in the back and check to see what's going on. Let's see how much longer I'll be waiting.. so far it's been an hour... read more

This store is an absolute disgrace. There are very few check out lines open at any given time, they even start closing self-checkout lines around 8pm. How difficult is it to have one person staffed for a group of self-checkouts? The store is always dirty, many of the employees are rude or just not helpful at all. Other customers are incredibly rude and seem to purposely try to take up as much room as possible. The bathrooms are disgusting, I once saw literal poop on the floor of one of the stalls. They don't stock shelves with any kind of frequency, I've been told numerous times that something I was looking for was still on the truck in back & should hopefully be in by the next day. The parking lot is a disaster & everyone shows a complete disregard for which doors are entrance doors and which ones are for exiting. This store has no redeeming qualities at all, I'm not even allowed to take my dick out in any location except for the bathrooms which is surprising considering how many dicks shop &/or work there. I wouldn't recommend this store to anyone, spend a few more dollars at Target down the road & save your sanity. read more

I'm so disgusted at the fact that I was not able to receive any help at the jewelry counter. I was in the store for 30 minutes and when I was going to check out there was still no one at the counter. I went and asked the customer service supervisor if someone can help me at the jewelry counter and she told me. That the young lady that works the counter has gone home for the evening. I find it hard to believe that there are no other workers in the store cross trained to do other task/positions. While I was talking to the supervisor another chimed in and said we're about to close. Clearly he hasn't been properly trained which would explain why other employees aren't cross trained. His comment prompted my husband and I to check the store hours. To my surprise outside of the door a sign posted stating it was open 24 hours. I'm very understanding that certain departments close at a specific time however the jewelry department isn't posted as one of those department. I've visited other Walmart stores in different, locations, states, and times and have visited the jewelry department I was never told it was closed. She should not be a supervisor if she's not going to show the exemplary customer service Walmart prides itself on. I wish I had gotten her name and the other employee this is ridiculous.
