I have been going to this Walmart often....the area on Washington street can get very busy with traffic, so it's best when it's not during rush or busy hours. But I got some vitamins for far less than I would get if I buy the national brand. Reading the list of ingredients and percentage of daily nutritional requirement, these Spring Valley choices are very close to the other ones, at about 30-50% off. This is a basic Walmart for quick essentials, but it lacks the prime inventory of other Walmarts in the area and the frozen section is consistently less than stellar. This location used to be good but that has all changed over the last few months. Employees are horrible and rude with bad attitudes. This place is mismanaged bey belief and it takes forever to check out. I went in and bought one TV today and nothing else, the electronics employees will ignore you, forcing you to go to the front checkouts, which of course have massive lines with maybe three lines open. I'm happy with my purchase but will never go here again. I'll just order online and get it delivered. If you value your sanity you will not go there at least during peak times. Service, Customer Service, corporate support, more help in the store, they do not care about the customer as I'm 67 went to get boxes ask for help several times and when they told me they would help bring them out the guy to help took his foot kicked my boxes and said your all set. I attempted to put them in car and a chit helped me but I cut and hurt my fingers and got a big bruise on my thigh and then they act like they do sorry had a manager who sound just like the one who I told about what happen right in the store and she could care less!!! I was staying with a friend for a weekend for a few days and we just needed some more stuff for groceries. Decided to stop at the store to find whatever we needed. It was close by so we chose this place. It was my first time so it was kind of confusing where to find, whatever we need but the store is pretty big just like any other Walmart supercenter I've been so far we found some of the stuff that we needed, but I was just sad not to see the bottled Coca-Cola soda that I was looking for, but it's OK. They probably are out of stock, maybe I'll come by next time when I'm around the area. read more

If I could get away with right this review without having to put any stars, I would do that it was the worst experience I've ever had in my life. The store, self-service lines was stretched around the back of the supercenter, like down the aisle, and all the way like almost to the back of the store first of all. The employees were not that helpful. They thought they could find something I needed. They took me to the wrong aisle and were like nope that's not it let's try this other one that took me that wasn't the right one Had three different aisles before I even found anything that was close to. I was looking for and then come to find out it was still the wrong item. I think they need to make the employees on the floor more knowledgeable about the products that they're selling especially if they're working in that particular department or at least have some idea of how to call someone else that's more experience for assistance to help Customer. Then I get a front I get in line, you thought to gosh that there was going to be a blizzard or something happening and granted there was gonna be snow coming next day, but a lot of the cars in line did not even have blizzard condition food in them so people have appliances. Another guy had a television set some bunch who had clothing and stuff in there you don't need anything that's not a winter jacket or something for the next day you don't need new bathing suit you don't need to get like a pair pants or a T-shirt or whatever it was absolutely stupid purchases and as far as I'm concerned on top of that, there was only two regular registers open as well as the full service type of like express where you could go in and wait on you so called self service or something but I felt this was definitely negligent on the part of the service itself it was no one really managing what was going on there was directing anyone to me that just was no organization whatsoever and the other two checkout lines they finally when it was like two people away from actually get to the register that then finally open up a third register, which made no sense whatsoever open up three or four she don't have 5060 people waiting in line to get out. And on top of that, they advertise certain products and you going to store buy it which I had done but there was no products in the store that goes like oh we really don't sell it even though it says we have in an aisle we really don't sell that here and I'm like why would it say it's an in particular aisle if you don't sell it she said we just can't sell everything you can't expect us to sell everything we have. And I'm thinking myself. Yes, if you post it on your page, I expect you to carry it in your store. It'll be a while before I get back to this one again maybe a long while. read more

We were about to finish our purchase but needed a skin care product that was locked up in a case. No one around so at the checkout we were told to follow an employee with keys to open it. His keys opened every case except the one I needed open. The lock was jammed so it couldn't be opened and as a result we couldn't make our purchase. Very disappointing. read more

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. been coming to this Walmart for over 10+ years for pretty much anything I've needed. been using grocery pickup for a little over a year & used to have great things to say. today was my last straw. I had to wait OVER 3 hours to get my grocery pickup. I got no apologies from staff or anyone. I understand being short staffed and being busy but the fact I got a alert saying order ready for pickup at 2:01 and again at 5:01 when I've been waiting in the parking lot in my assigned number for OVER 3 hours. My order was ready from 2-3. at 4 I started called the 508 number listed on pick up signs no one answered and voicemail was full and no room to leave new voicemails. so I waited outside the front door of pick up associates to talk to someone.. no one came outside so I go back in the car and call an 800 number, after being transferred 3 times someone tells me they spoke to the "team lead" & they are prepping my order and will call before coming out. it then became 5:15 and still haven't heard from anyone. a employee comes up to my window and asks for my name. explained that I called and talked to someone an hour ago who said it would be ready soon. he shows me his phone where it says the order is getting ready now and isn't prepped. I had another commitment at 5pm which this experience made me late too. silly me for thinking that picking up my grocery order would take 15 minutes I have never felt so disappointed and disrespected in my life. this was a complete waste of my time/gas. I could have gone into the store and picked out every item and would have plenty of time left to pay go home put groceries away & relax. now the one day I have in the week off is wasted from waiting this long. I will never be returning to this store & will not be recommending this store or Walmart at all to friends/family. I also witnessed an elder woman say she's been waiting an hour & countless other people leaving after waiting however long they waited. I truly hope you can do something to fix this system you have because it's just not right. read more

This Wal-Mart absolutely lives up to its nickname "Wally World". I was recently shopping the chaotic Route 1 store circuit when I came across this remodeled Wal-mart. There were a few things I needed to pick up so I decided to check it out. Holy crap this place is HUGE! It being a weekend (a holiday weekend at that. . . Valentine's Day was fast approaching), I was forced to park ridiculously far away. I never mind walking the extra distance but it was extraordinary just how many people were visiting this establishment that day. The store was absolutely mobbed. While most of the crowd was centered on the greeting card and prepackaged chocolate aisles, it was still difficult to maneuver through the rest of the store. Given its size, this was a mind boggling feat. The layout is just far too large. I needed a variety of items and found myself trekking back and forth across the expansive floor plan in search of my intended purchases. Few staff were available to direct me where to go, making what should have been a 10 minute drop in. . . a 30 minute endeavor into their "world". They have a large stock, you'll definitely find whatever it is your going there for. Just prepare yourself to go on a treasure hunt to find it all. I'm sure if this was my home Wal-Mart I'd get to know the layout. . . but for their newcomer/non-repeat shoppers, some more signage or staff on a busy weekend to help out customers would be greatly appreciated. read more

I have been to several other Walmart locations all over. This one has to be very under-staffed as every time I come here for bread after 3pm the aisle looks like a blizzard is coming. Why aren't the bread shelves stocked? Other Walmarts I have shopped in at that time of day never look like this and this is not the first time I have noticed this problem in North Attleboro. In general the shelves always look bare. *Pro-tip if you need bread specifically and it is after 3pm go to Shaws, Stop & Shop or Market Basket this location does not keep the essentials like bread on the shelves. read more

My package was delivered to the wrong address and the photo they texted me proved it. They said there wasn't anything they could do because they use a third party to make theirs deliveries and told me I was out of luck. Always a line with only one cashier while the lady who I'm assuming is a older manager will come up to call others to the front(who never come) instead of being a manager and help her teammate. This Walmart is ok. It definitely has everything that he supercenter Walmart should have. I think the best advice I could give to anybody that might going to this Walmart is to make sure you either go in very early in the morning or later towards night because it gets extremely busy and if you go during the busy hours it could take forever to get out of there. I have often utilize the order online and pick up. You can get out pretty quickly if you do use this feature. I have also had instances where I've had to return items. The return area can be very time-consuming because of the line. But like I said, it does have a lot of good features like a deli, a bakery, fresh produce, pharmacy, Garden center, Dunkin Donuts and rows and other items that you won't find at a regular Walmart. I think the only drawback to this Walmart is how long it takes to check out. The lines can be impossible. read more

Maybe it's just me, but when you see that website called "people of Walmart", that's what I see here. A lot of people that look like they rolled in off the streets, people that just rolled out of bed, and I got serenaded by some chick singing gospel music. Tried to get away from her, butttt she wasn't having it. There are so many things their website states this store has in stock, but when you get there, shelves are empty. So either they're not updating their inventory or who's ever in charge of the main Walmart site isn't - I would figure the first. I usually stick with the Bellingham, MA location. It's smaller obviously and not a super Walmart, but in my opinion there's nothing super about this one. At least the other location has what it states it has before you drive out. Don't get me started on the bathrooms. I try to not utilize public restrooms, but they do have a dunkins and the large coffee was working on my bladder lol, so I attempted to go into their restroom. NEVER use this location for order pick up. ALL orders are picked up outside the building, no signage for this. After going inside and being told this and to call the phone number listed at the pick up spot to get my order, that's what I did. They NEVER pick up the phone, EVER, they say to leave your order number but the mailbox is full. I went to my email for the order where you can click to check in for pick up. Guess what, it doesn't bring you to anything that let's you check in for your order pick up. So yeah, I drove a half hour to this crappy Walmart, sat there for 20 mins trying to check in for my order, gave up and drove home. I won't be back for anything here...EVER read more

I like Walmart just as much as the next person, and while the company is huge, each individual store has it's own character and vibe. Some make me want to come back and some just feel like "stay away". Unfortunately, this one was that "stay away" type of store. Now, before getting to all of the things that annoyed me about this store, I should start with positives, because it's not all negative. This isn't THAT bad of a store, and if I didn't live so far away I probably would come here sometimes. First, checkout. Lots of checkout open and tons of self checkout. I did self checkout, but even if I didn't I wouldn't have had to wait for a full service line either. And after how annoyed I was at the Walpole location last year, that is a major plus (they do have self checkout now....). This location has the routine of customers down PAT (while Walpole doesn't!). And the other benefit.... rare items. When I find something that I have been looking for for ages, at an unlikely place, at a ridiculously low price, I need to give a shout out to it. I have a projector at my house I use to watch movies or television (for some reason I find it to be much more practical and easier than a huge TV....). I have been looking for an iPad connector to the projector for years! I know they have them at the Apple store, but they are really expensive and not worth the price to me. Here (at Walmart!) I found a whole bunch in clearance for only $20 each! May sound like a lot, but believe me it's a good price, and then, when I went to checkout, I found that they were only $10! Definitely love the clearance aisle here..... stop by if you're shopping here.... always surprises lurking! Now for the negatives. First, shopping carts vs baskets. Now, anytime I go somewhere and plan to do a ton of shopping (or even get more than a few items) I'll get a cart. But I only came in here for a few bags of chocolate animal crackers (they sell the BEST ones!), some other candy, and a few paper / plastic products. Plus, when I walked in, I originally was going to get a cart, but two were broken and lot of the others were stuck together (check out the pics). Didn't bother with that until discovering (and asking an employee about it) that all of the baskets were stuck behind the register. Yikes. While checkout is an issue, at least the Walpole Walmart provides shopping baskets for their customers and doesn't have carts falling apart. Also, for whatever reason that this location has people at the exits check receipts and check them off is really annoying. Again, this is something I've ever encountered on my often trips to the Walpole store. And lastly, the cleanliness throughout the food section. While the food section here is quite large, a ton of the freezers were leaking (it was gross!) and there was an open bag of candy in the candy aisle. Couldn't have someone just gotten rid of that. Additionally, the candy aisle was in shambles.... I'd sort of expect that since it was Halloween, but with all of the staff working at the un-busy checkout area, couldn't one come over and spruce up the candy aisles. Also, clientele at this specific location is a bit .... "sketchy". Definitely take caution at night. And they also are not open 24 hours like the other location In closing, this store is just as good as the average store near my house. Won't ever compare to the Avon Walmart or even the one in Bellingham which I find really relaxing as well. 3 stars for this store. read more

Ok I don't really like Wallyworld, well actually I get anxiety just pulling into the parking lot, but I have to say that the SportingGoods Manager Zabrina turned a miserable experience into an enjoyable one. I had asked about 6 employees to help because I needed to adjust handlebars to make sure the bike fit for my daughter before purchasing it. Every employee said they would get someone and then no one came. Finally Zabrina came and I asked to speak to a store manager and when Rick came over from the deli area he was nice but Zabrina is the one that found one of the other bikes in the back room. I ended up buying three bikes and she saved me the hassle of having to order the 3rd bike online. She should be the store manager. Women make better managers. They work twice as hard at their job! read more

We had the rudest cashier at the Walmart in NO ATTLEBORO after buying $103.70 worth of stuff, my husband went to reach for 2 PAPER BAGS at another register because he is on a limited income, and she told him NO that was STEALING FROM ANOTHER CASHIER! THEN, she had the nerve to toss an item at my husband and break it. She told him HE should have caught it! Keep in mind my husband is 65! My husband told her he was going to get another one and took the broken item back to the shelf and got a new one, he was FURIOUS! I WAS ANGRY but kept my calm. Unfriendly, unprofessional staff. I went in today to make a payment to my credit card. The cashier barely acknowledged me as she carried on a conversation with her fellow employee. I just hate that. Is it really that difficult to offer up a 'hi, how are you today? what can i help you with?' I've worked in retail many times in the past, and I'll tell ya- it's not difficult at all, and it makes for a better exchange with customers when you're pleasant upfront. Walmart needs to train its employees better, and maybe implement better requirements for who they hire. This place is also insanely busy and parking can be a nightmare on the weekends. read more

We stopped here after spending a lazy afternoon at the Emerald Square Mall because we needed some essentials for the house and didn't want to go right home. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that they had just remodeled and now include a full market and full recycling center. We were looking for mostly snack foods because when they run out they run out and were able to find great deals on chips, dip, coca cola products, and bananas were a steal at 39 cents a pound. The place was mobbed but the service was quick and there was a huge selection. If I lived closer this would be MY Wal-Mart. read more

Upside of the fact that this Walmart is typically completely overrun by patrons, and you have to park about a mile away in order to get into the store, it's actually a pretty decent store. It's very rare that I don't find the items that I need. I never thought that I would go to Walmart to shop for groceries but I tend to find some really great deal and the food is seemingly high quality. And really never had an issue with any of the food or taste or quality. They tend to carry all the name brands evenin things like fresh fruit and dairy. Why not save a few bucks and shop at Walmart, if you're going to get the same name brand that you would get at a different grocery store. One thing I don't like about the store is the bottle machines in the front. Don't expect to get your $0.05 back because the machine is either all ways completely full or it doesn't recognize your cans or its just not working. I don't understand why Massachusetts charges $0.05 cents if you can't get it back anyway. One thing that I like about the store is the setup I think that although it is not a hundred percent customer friendly it does get the point across they really strategically have the store place out to make you shopping outside and then shop the inside. I came to this Walmart location today to get a money order. The line was about 13 people long which is understandable for it being a Friday and towards the end of the month. I waited about 18 minutes in line just for the employee to tell me the money order machine is broken. I work in customer service so I usually don't give attitude to employees but this time I HAD to. Why would you not notify the customers in line or have a damn sign to state that the money order machine is not working?! I was more aggravated because I was already on a time crunch and it was just a blatant waste of my time. read more

Cue the screeching monkeys and strange bird calls.....this place is a freakin' ZOO. Walmart: the evil overlord of the USA. I despise what it stands for, but happens to be the only place which happened to be selling facial cream + vitamins + glue sticks + grocery items....so I paid it a visit on my way home. It's a one-stop shop for a migraine. I normally enjoy a good "Wally World I Spy" feature, but this was just ridiculous (there seemed to be a large percentage of parents sans parenting skills, as well as disabled/zombie-like people who trudge in the way, as well as gossiping staff members). That being said: if you need a whole bunch of random stuff and don't feel like heading to multiple shops for your purchases, then Walmart will do you just fine. Clothing, vitamins, housewares, fitness, sporting goods, film/music/video games, some craft items, and a whooolllleeee lotta grocery aisles. I'd recommend the self check-out stations (since no one apparently knows how to use them). You'll most likely find what you're looking for .....but at what cost? read more

Love that it's now a Super Wal-mart, but the place is always mobbed, and there is rarely good parking spots. The cashiers are mostly weird, and rude. The sales people in electronics are all punks that don't want to do anything to help. If something is out of stock on the shelf, good luck getting someone to find one out back. The food prices are excellent, and the selection is great. Crappy baby section.. shoe section sucks, but everywhere else doesn't disappoint. Happy shopping! read more
