Custom "ice cream sundae" themed bakery cupcakes
    Bryce B.

I was traveling for a last minute gender reveal party and called the Walmart Bakery at this location for a one day turnaround order. All I said was I wanted a few cupcakes that matched an ice cream themed party and gave the bakers creative liberty. They placed a lovely whipped blue frosting on the inside so the soon to be mother was able to bite into it and show all of us we are getting a new boy to the family! I was impressed with the quality, taste, and the cost is more than fair (seriously, like a little over $1 a cupcake! - I felt like I robbed the store it was such a great deal!) All things considered, there is no reason not to order custom cakes for every future event! The ladies that helped me were pleasant and did a great job.

Had to get new tires. This Walmart had what I wanted and what I needed. The staff in the auto center was very polite and professional. They didn't have a TPMS sensor I needed replaced but told me they would order it and put it on for me without additional labor charge. (Not to mention their price was cheaper than any of the auto parts stores I looked at to replace it with)

Dirty - employees are angry- and no registers are open. Self checkout is not something anyone likes doing especially after we just worked!

Trends: For the last several months, I noticed the crowds are more thin these days at this location versus the 119th location. Partially, it is because everyone is either at Home Depot or Aldi. This is not necessarily a negative thing, but with the current economic climate, people are more cognizant on what they buy and how they spend money. Aldi has been so crowded the last thirty days that parking has not been available. The best time to go is a couple hours before closing or right when they open. Inventory: 1/10 To my point above, good luck trying to find the simplest items at this location. It seems they never have what I need in stock and I almost have to travel to another store that has what I need. Sometimes, I do not want to drive fifteen minutes to the other location-which is busier, when I live five minutes from this one. It is frustrating. Self-Checkout: 9/10 This location is all self-check now and I must say it is nice checking out without having employees watch you a little too closely or harass you into checking your receipt. The vibes are definitely a lot better, which is one of the reasons I have resumed shopping here. Customer Service: 7.57/10 Compared to my last visit, the customer service has slightly improved. Again, that may be because of the thinner crowds, but it is a step in the right direction. Overall: 6/10 This location is great if you can find what you are looking for. It is also nice to walk in, get what you need, and shop without being harassed by employees. Depending on what you need, you most likely will have to go to another store to shop. Some may prefer the 119th location, but I prefer this one. I just wish they had more inventory.

The staff members are always so eager to help me and it makes me want to stay even longer. They always have what I need and they have different brands of the same item I'm need always. It's just like a normal grocery store. But only so much better and so much greater deals and staff!!

Located in a very safe part of town, in a very easy to access location right off of 135th St, Kohls…read moreis there to service almost all of your clothing needs, along with other offerings that one might need for the house. Walking in the place is very clean and sterile, a much-appreciated attention to detail aspect. That said I didn't see many employees walking around so if you have questions, you'll have to be proactive and hunt them down for yourself. The place is logically laid out so finding what you need should be a breeze as apposed to other places I've been. Small stuff first. The kitchen section has a few nicer items but is marked up a lot from a regular experience, sometimes by a lot. So if you want Bobby Flay's pan set, break out the plastic baby it's gonna cost ya! Next the bedroom supplies aren't marked up that much and should have something to satisfy most people. For instance they have pillows, not specialized items but a sizable list of generic ones (could be name brand but I'm not a pillow expert). The kids might be a little sour on the toy section. It's not very big. I can't speak on the womens section. Oh wait, I did have to buy some tights for running a half marathon and since it's done at the end of winter they're readily available. The only pair I could find were womans yoga pants. That's right, I ran a half marathon with 30k other people in womens yoga pants (relax I had shorts on over them). Anyways the point is they do have something for everyone. As for the mens section it's decent. The available styles are extremely generic, lacking anything trendy. It's like dating the guy or girl which dress ok but have no knowledge of what's in fashion NOW. Their sports apparel section in terms of clothing for exercise is very good, but unless you have a local team, it's for the masses. So what do I buy here? Dress pants, dress shirts, dress belts and the occasional "Kramer" shirt. But if you're debating socks, underwear, tshits and so on, you're better off choosing that big red or blue store. As for their shoes, they do have a decent collection but void of top performance or style shoes. Overall, Kohl's is very middle America in terms of financial tier, the mentality and corporate targeting. Shopping here isn't as cheap as those big box places however it's not as expensive as those NY style department stores. This particular Kohls is safe with good employees and a lot of decent, albeit dated products. Stop on buy if you're buying a little something for yourself or family and want to save a buck while not looking completely out of touch.

Overall good experience.
