I'm averaging this out to a three star review. Let me say that I totally prefer Target and I only go to Walmart when ABSOLUTELY necessary. I recently found it absolutely necessary. I was looking for a specialty health item which I knew they had. Upon entering (and they have super spaced out their items for social distancing), I went to the pharmacy area. I found where I thought the items would be. The pharmacy staff was swamped so I went to the nearby "Health & Beauty" area where there was an associate just looking at the wall. I asked about the item and she responded, "You know you're in Health & Beauty. You need to be in the pharmacy." And with that, she turned away. I may have responded with something like, "I know where I am but the pharmacy staff were unavailable but thank you for the information." Anywhoo, made me mad so I left. One star review here. As soon as I got in the car, I looked at their website and found out I could order the item for curbside pickup the next day. That's what I did. Four star review for the curbside crew. I had to wait a bit for this one item but the associate was very apologetic about my wait (which was about 20 minutes). I was just happy to get the item. 4.5 star review here. My advice. While it might seem like this is just a Covid supply chain problem, from 2021 to May 2022 I've been to: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, Wyoming... And aside from a Target in Arizona, this specific Walmart is the only other store I've been to during this time with legitimately not full grocery shelves. I have Celiac disease and Walmart and Walmart+ is my go to for gluten free items, but this location had barely any gluten free items. I've been in some remote Walmarts in New Mexico and Wyoming and even there I was able to find a decent selection of gluten free foods. This week I couldn't find any fennel fresh or dried in the spice aisle. I had to get that at Sprouts. Couldn't find Italian pork sausage, which is a staple at pretty much any Walmart in the US. Limes were only available in a bag of 6 for almost $6. This has been my extended family's go-to Walmart for more than 20 years and I'm fairly certain it's the location that services a lot of the smaller towns between here and Bentonville, Arkansas. My son has brought home chicken from the deli at this location a few times now...it IS NOT GOOD! I love chicken, fried chicken in particular and this is a fried chicken I will turn down. He has brought it home twice...and it is SOOOOO overcooked! It is dry as cardboard and there is no flavoring to the nearly burnt coating. I honestly can't believe they sell chicken that looks like this! There are parts of it that are almost charred black!!! If I want fried chicken I will buy it from Reasor's any day of the week over this nastiness. read more

Money services cashier was downright rude. Rolled her eyes at us. Barked at us to "get behind the sign" even though we were several feet from the other Walmart employee she was having a conversation with when we walked up. We were the only other people in that very darkly lit area. When she finally finished helping the other employee she loudly said "neeexxt". I'm hearing impaired so maybe she said something to me and I didn't hear her, prompting her to take that rude tone and sarcastic inflection. Maybe that's why she rolled her eyes at us. My young son accidentally bumped his bag into the pole that he was dutifully standing behind - that's definitely not a reason to look over and roll your eyes as a customer service representative of the store. If this is how Walmart is training their employees, even if she was having a bad day, there's no need for me to waste my money there. Won't be back. Zero stars if I was able. read more

Pickup was not good at all. My family and I decided to pick up our groceries one night, so we could have food in our fridge and pantry. We get to Walmart and we check in to get our groceries and we wait. Usually at walmart the wait time is 5-10 minutes but no... we are literally sitting in the car, at night waiting for our groceries and it took 2-3 hours for us to get our groceries we were all tired of being in the car. After 3 hours we just said "forget it" and we just left and went home without our groceries. I was very disappointed. I do not recommend the pick up at this place at all. If I was you, I would just go in the store and pick up my own groceries and not let someone else do it. read more

They advertise roll back prices but when you go to check out it rings up the higher price. Goldfish crackers are advertised at $7.98 and ring up at $8.88. I brought this to the service desks attention two weeks ago. When I bought the crackers today they rang up at $8.88. They will make it right but....... how many people have paid the higher price? Never would have thought I would be visiting or reviewing a Walmart in Owasso, but here I am folks! I was in town for a week (for work), and excited to discover that my hotel suite had a kitchenette. Yippie! So what do I do? I mosey on over to good 'ol Walmart to save money and pick up some groceries. I got ahead of myself while grocery shopping and threw a frozen pizza in my cart, only to return to my room and learn that there was no oven in my splendid little kitchenette. Bummer! After searching you tube on how to cook a frozen pizza in the microwave and stove, I quickly realized...no way, no how, uh uh (it's a process, let me tell ya!). I opted to put the pizza in my freezer until I would attempt to return it the next day after work and get my 6 bucks back. I'm not one to return food, but it was worth a try considering nothing was wrong with it, and a girl's gotta eat! To my surprise, the transaction could not have went smoother. Yay! I gave an extra star for that. Though my story was true and the pizza actually could have went back in their freezer section, I saw the clerk label it (as if it was contaminated), and I doubt it went back out available for purchase. I actually found that comforting considering I, myself, would actually prefer not to purchase a returned pizza. Lol...the irony! In other news, the layout, aisles and product placement were pretty different from other Walmarts I've been to. Took me a while to find everything I was looking for, but I made it. Pretty decent Walmart. Service is usually good when you need assistance. The one experience that stands out is at the fabric department. I was looking for white vinyl. I asked for assistance and a lady came to help me out. It was kind of late and it wasn't even her department but I appreciated her willingness to help me out. I was lucky enough to her the last bit of the roll and she even priced is super cheap since the system was down. I saved a ton of money. During soccer season, they should stock up more with soccer balls but other than that they do a pretty good job. read more

They have necessities, wants and everything in between.  On my last visit I discovered they no longer have the price check machines.  I had to hunt an associate down to find the price of an item.  The items were on clearance in three different locations with three different prices.  That seems to be an issue all over the store with price tags missing from the shelf or items in the wrong spot.  It's a little irritating when you get to checkout.  The store appears clean and the shelves are generally tidy.  I did notice the parking lot was absolutely disgusting with trash.  That should be addressed or maybe a can blew over or something?  All in all you can't beat their affordability and convivence. read more

Worst customer service EVER! Tried to call the store to let them know that my wife paid for a bag of ice but forgot to grab it on her way out but no one wanted to answer the phone. So I decided to go to the store and get the bag of ice myself. Meanwhile, I just had reconstructive surgery on my left leg from breaking both bones in my left leg. I get to the store and crutch myself on in and the lady let's me know I need to go to the customer service desk before I get the bag of ice. So I go and wait in line for about 10 min and the lady at the desk says that I can just take the bag. So I go back to the ice cabinet and proceed to get the bag. The lady standing in front of the cabinet proceeds to open the door for me while I grab this large bag out myself. Heaven forbid she grab the bag for me but that's "not her job". Long story short, if you're handicap, don't expect any of the employees to go out of their way to help you out because it's not happening! read more

So far the pharmacy has to input all my information every single time we fill a script. It's like it goes into a black hole and disappears! Also the checkout kid today, (Kalyan) who by all appearances was stoned on marijuana (29 years in law enforcement I've seen it) red conjunctiva around the eyes, pasty green tongue and he was so lethargic I though either he would hit puberty or I would retire in line. Got home unloaded and we were missing a whole bag. If he wasn't stoned he's the worst person working at Walmart ! read more

Reviews Sapulpa Super Walmart hands down one of the nicer looking supers centers. I live in Owasso, OK. This is the first time me and my 12 year daughter had been to the Sapulpa location. Walking in I noticed the store had to be "new" or recently remodeled. I stopped an employee and asked. The young lady said recently remodeled. We stopped in Walmart because my iPhone was on low battery and I needed a charger. Once we arrived at the electronics department we were greeted. I asked for help. The young man even pointed out a reasonably priced charger completely cheaper than I would pay at my cell carrier. I attempted to purchase a charger at the Super Walmart in Owasso however the rep Stephen was unknowledgeable. And made no attempt to find out the information. Owasso Walmart on 96th street is the worst Walmart I've ever been to anywhere. The heat is terrible...not just tonight, but every single time we go. It leaves you sweating and trying to get what you need and go ASAP. Even the kids were complaining about it..and they are kids! Nothing is ever in stock, they constantly move things around, and it has the poorest selection I've ever seen in any other Walmart. This is Owasso. It should be a great store! I don't think I'm going out on a limb when I say that all this stores issues can most likely be traced to very poor management. The poor employees are sweating to death while still trying to work and be polite. Completely ridiculous. I don't know if the air has.been broken for months or if it's some kind of idiotic plan to save money. Target will start getting our money. Even if we do have to dress up a little more. read more

It's a Walmart. What more can I say. Thankfully it's a supercenter so it's open 24 hours. The bathrooms are relatively clean, but it never seems that they have enough cashiers. The auto check out half works half dozen. Overall not the worst experience. It is what it is. read more

So i go to the Walmart super store on 96th in owasso ok. I was sent there to return a tv under warranty, which the company said to take it to the Walmart. So I'm there and i am approached by a young man named Nick who was so totally rude talking to me that the associate named Jacob was so offended. I simply asked Nick to go get a a manager. He says to me that Trish is busy and is not going to stop what she is doing to come to customer service. So Jacob says he will call another manager. I stood there almost an hour. Nick comes up to me and says Trish is not coming to talk to me and its not going to happen and if it does he doesn't see a receipt. He never asked for 1 so i didn't give 1, he wasn't who i was needing to talk to right go get Trish. So Trish decides she wants to walk right past me like she doesn't see me and never said 1 word to me. Okay so my mom goes get another manager that Nick said wasn't there. She comes and apologizes for everyone rude behavior and unprofessional behavior. She said how can she help me her name was Cassandra. Cassandra helped me was very polite and should be supervisor as well as her costumer service skills were. Like thank you to Jacob my customer service associate and to Cassandra the manager that actually understands the meaning of customer service. These individuals on this night shift needs more training. They don't represent Walmart well at all. Walmart is a brand you don't mess up. Poor customer service skills hirts a company. Cassandra handled my situation so well and fast. I know it's Walmart.... and I know that I am here at night most times. I have to say that over the past 6 months to a year when I come here I regret the trip more and more each time. Here are my reasons why... 1. They don't believe in human employees anymore. Which is sad because that is the best part to this store. Every employee I've ever encountered is super helpful and nice. They have always taken care of me. But I guess it's time for computers to work at this establishment. 2. They don't ever seem to have anything in stock anymore. I know I come at night most times when I am here and that is when they stock shelves but I can no longer count on two hands how many other people have said that. So be ware... it's probably out of stock and that is if they even carry it at all. Which leads me to my third point... 3. The selection in this store just sucks. I find myself choosing any Walmart but this one if I want a decent flavor of coffee creamer or chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream. This too is a common complaint among my family and friends. So for us we will be taking our money elsewhere. The selection of books, crafts, and even food items leaves a ton to be desired. But of all of the Wal-Mart's in the Tulsa metroplex area, the employees at this location weren't partiularly helpful or friendly. Went to Owasso, OK super center to return a purchased on line item. WalMart issued an email clearly stating to return the product, if needed, to your local store along with a copy of the email provided. The customer service at the store advised I needed to deal with the third party that made the product and that they could not credit me! Lesson learned as I could have purchased the same product through AMAZON and would not have had a problem with the return. WalMart will never be able to compete with Amazon because their greed gets in the way of customer service. read more

A simple trip to Wal-Mart Supercenter in Owasso today made me smile! I recently saw a recipe for a quick and easy chicken dinner cooked with a pressure cooker. I did some research online and Wal-Mart had the best price for the Insta-Pot. I ran in to get the insta-pot and a couple of ingredients for the chicken dinner. I made the mistake OF NOT GETTING a cart at the front door. I thought how heavy can a miniature pressure cooker be. Pretty heavy! By the time I grabbed it and walked across the store and grabbed a couple of boxes of bone broth believe me that pressure cooker felt like 50lbs. I was struggling to make it to self checkout and I was hoping there would be an empty cart close by. I looked up and at the front door was a Wal-Mart employee who, even as busy as he was at the front door, noticed my struggle and brought a grocery cart my way. I don't think he really knew how much I appreciated his kindness. I thought how on earth did he notice me in that sea of people in a busy Sunday afternoon. I thanked him, Cody, in person but I also want to Thank him here and let Wal-Mart know what a thoughtful employee you have! Took our car in for an oil change. The service included checking things like power steering fluid, washer fluid, and lights, all three of those things had not been checked or filledon our car. Yet. The work order said that they had .Also our car ran out of water two days later because a radiator hose had been cracked off. Our mechanic said it probably happened at Walmart. I was in this supercenter September 17th and needed to send something to my grand daughter in Texas for her to pick up so the lady at customer service said she could do that for me by way of their computer. She pulled up what I was sending and turned the keyboard around for me to enter my information. Everything was done and we paid for the item, but when my grand daughter went to the Mansfield Texas store she was unable to pick the item up because it wasn't ordered online! WTH? It was ordered online through their computer! My husband paid with our credit card, but neither of us were thinking about the receipt, so we can't give them the number if we don't have a receipt! He has looked online and it hasn't charged our card because it's waiting to be picked up first! I am beyond frustrated!!! read more

Just had my oil changed there, and I didn't notice it till I got home but on the receipt it said they put 4 quarts of oil in it, and my car takes 5.7 quarts. I checked the stick, and there's not any oil on it at all. Luckily I had 1.5 quarts, and added that, and it's still a little low, but luckily I noticed it or Walmart would be buying me a new engine. read more

Honestly, not a bad location. Like any Walmart, the layout is convenient, as well as selection, and most of the staff is friendly. That being said, the auto center is disappointing. I had gone there on several occasions for service, and always told a 3 hour wait, even if I was the first one there. Recently, I was told there was a 4 hour wait for tire service, when there was no cars in the bay, and only one in the parking lot. Incidentally, it was 4 hour before the service center closed. On Oct. 25th 2013, my doctor emailed 3 prescriptions and gave me 2 more to hand-carry to the Owasso Walmart store number 168 at 96th street. At 4:45, I presented my prescriptions and my drivers licence. My license was due to be renewed in march of 2014,so it had a corner where the lamination was loose for about an eigth of an inch like most mens drivers licence that spend years in a wallet. I had never had trouble with it before at any store in the past and when the woman ran it through the scanner at the register there was no problem. The woman working at the counter was wearing long acylic nails and she laid my license on the counter and ran her nail under the laminate. She kept scraping the laminate with her artificial nails until she had dislodged the laminate for about 3/4 of an inch. Then she told me that because my license was in bad condition, walmart couldn't fill my prescriptions or return my prescriptions to me. She didn't call my doctor, or call a manager, she just destroyed my Identification that I needed to drive and bank and many other things. I finally convinced them (by threatening to call the police) to give me my perfectly legal prescriptions and my perfectly legal drivers license and took them to a better pharmacy that filled the prescriptions and told me that I would need to replace my license before they would fill prescriptions for me again. (obviously). I called the police after the incident to report the destruction of property and an officer with the Owasso police told me that the drivers license was not my property because it belonged to the state and that walmart was within their rights to destroy or keep my license. I called walmart headquarters, the police and the better business bureau. All of those people reacted as if walmart were completely within their rights to destroy my drivers license, even though none of the prescriptions were ingrediants for making metamphetamine. It was cholesterol medication, diabetes medication, and blood pressure medication. I find it shocking and depressing that Walmart is now more powerful than government agencies, and the police won't take complaints against them for distruction of property or discrimination in refusing to provide service. read more
