I dislike wal mart over all because it's a large and greedy company. The way mart at 75th and McDowell is particularly disgusting. The store is messy and the bathrooms dirty. Customer service is non existant. If you have to go to Walmart skip this one read more

Customer service is helpful and quick. Had no issue switching out an item. Only things I would change is the usual need more registers open, and that they go back to being 24 hours. Hate having to drive more than 5 miles when its just up the road when I get off work. read more

Posting this on my recent customer service experience. This in regards to a service associate at Walmart. I would like to say big thank you to Brianna. I unfortunately did not get her last name. She was working near the self check out around 7:15 pm on 1/5/17. I ran in to Walmart to pickup some dog food and only went in with a $40 Walmart gift card. When it came to check out, I had my two dog food items but the total came to $40.03. I asked around me if anyone had 3 cents. No one paid any mind to me except for Brianna. She came over and said she would put it on her card. I thought maybe a Walmart discount card so the amount would come out less. But, in a flash she put her own personal bank card in to cover my overage. I was genuinely shocked and thanked her for her act of kindness. Granted you may say it was only 3 cents but to me it was a million. Thank you Brianna for restoring my faith in human kindness and one in a million awesome customer service. read more

If you have problems with any associate write down their name or names and send that info to corporate.

Can I give negative stars? First, I take my car in to have an oil change to later discover they removed my vehicle's work parking pass from my windshield and did not replace it. Called to inform the associate at the Auto Center and was met with the attitude of someone who did not seem like they wanted to be at work today. Told her my parking pass was removed and was simply told "....ok", and have since been on hold for the last 5 minutes. Walmart continue to suck. read more

One if the closest Walmarts to me. They have many self check outs with make it easier for those with less products/groceries to get in and out. Customer service is really good. If you order online, there is this section you can go to and get your phone scanned and leave with your item. No excessive lines. Also this Walmart is one of many that allows you to use the app for the savings catcher, and allow you to spend your savings within the facility read more

This is the worst Walmart I've been to in the Phoenix area. The staff is nice and professional but they are overrun daily by a rabid criminal element. This is the only Walmart I've been to that doesn't have a gun case in sporting goods (that should tell you something). In spite of that I believe they do their best with this sea of people who look like they came off the set of Mad Max. The store itself is not bad. The "out of stocks" are very low and there is a good selection of products as Walmart is known for. For the best experience I recommend getting here as early as possible to avoid the onslaught of idiot shoppers and NEVER EVER SHOP HERE BETWEEN 7PM AND CLOSING!!! It's a total zoo!!! read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!!! I just moved from California and there are some awful Walmarts there but this one has by far taken the cake. I have been to several different locations and this on in particular is the only place it happens. So I went to purchase Grey Goose Vodka which is behind one of the registers. There is no sign on the shelf where all the other brands of Vodka are that tell you where to locate them or anything that anything showing that they even sell the brand. As I approached the register with my husband and ask for the Vodka the cashier went and got it and said to BOTH my husband and for our I.D's. When I asked why she said because you both look under 40. And then when I asked why she needed to see both our I.D's she points to a sign that says if you look under 40 and purchasing alcohol and or tobacco products. Then she says it's the store policy to ask anyone who comes in the store together that looks under 40 for everyone in that groups I.D. I said again where is that written. She say it's store policy. I ask to speak to a manager. She calls over a store lead. The lead tells me that same thing and then I say well that makes no since to me because he's my husband and I've showed you my I.D. and I'm the one who's purchasing the alcohol. The lead says would you like to speak to and assistant manager. I said I thought your were a manager that's who I asked for. She says no I'm a lead or something of that sort. So when that assistant manager was called over he said the same thing and I asked again WHERE IS THAT WRITTEN. As I was talking to the assistant manager the cashier unrings the bottle of vodka and puts it back on the shelf walks away from the register without saying another word and a new cashier come over. At this point I just wanted to get the hell out of there so my husband and I BOTH showed l.D.s and HE (my husband) paid for it and we left. I have been to other Walmarts in the area and have purchased the exact same thing. I am usually with my husband and WE or I'm never asked for both of our I.D's. It's a shame that this happened here because I don't want to go back to this particular store....I will probably take the further drive to the walmart that appreciates there customers. read more

I will never go back to this walmart again. I was in the 20 items or less with my friend. We were in line about 20 mins normal for this walmart. When we got up to the cashier she said I am closed. Oh no your not I said I have been standing in line for 20mins + she said I need to go home. I said not my problem well the conversation got heated and we were yelling back and fourth at eachother. This cashier had to have been in her 70's. So the manager comes over and the cashier is still being rude finally the manager tells her to leave. Does my order and gives me a $10 gift card for my trouble like that is going to fix what just happend. read more

Worst Walmart in AZ! I went in to buy one item. There were only two registers open and they both were training new cashiers. I was second in line to a lady with about thirty items. I waited 30 minutes for the cashier to take one item at a time and slooooowly scan it and put it into a bag. Then I waited another 15 minutes for the cashier still messing around trying to figure out how to charge the lady's stuff to her gift card. I gave up an left. Is the idiot manager not aware that they need to have someone on at least one register that is not a trainee? Also, there is never anyone working a register at the pharmacy end of the store. If they think people will see more stuff to buy if they are forced to go to the far end of the store, they're wrong. Also, they constantly move things around so you don't have a clue where the stuff was moved to. Hate this store and their poor management! read more

I'm Mexican, and I'm definitely not self hating lol... but wow lol. Right when you walk in, it smells like a grocery store in a tiny town, in Mexico. Smells sour and like dirt a little bit. Kids running around, crying/screaming, and parents not giving one f. Also, prepare to have anxiety, in the parking lot, before even getting in the store. That's a real treat lol. This location is ran extremely poorly! They Always have long lines! They normally only keep 4 lanes open (including self checkout). And each lane will have 10-20 people in it without exaggeration. It gets worse at night after 9pm. Tonight 5/26/18, they completely shut down ALL THE LANES Near the pharmacy entrance. Leaving 4 open lanes on the opposite side! It felt like Christmas! There were 20 to 30 people in each lane, one lane had 50. And the self check out section was so long that the lines went into the clothing area. After tonight I WILL NEVER SHOP AT THIS LOCATION AGAIN! And if I can avoid it, I Will NEVER shop at any Walmart again! They never do anything to make things better for their customers! People complain about this ALL THE TIME! And nothing ever changes! This has been going on for way to long without improvements! So clearly the employees don't care, management doesn't care, and the higher ups don't give a shit! I didn't even mention how disgusting the store and parking lot always is! But this review is Mainly on the lane situation! Walmart Has a policy about not having more than 4 or something people in a line.. but they don't care about policy, or safety, or providing good customer service! Never go to this location! You will leave stressed and exhausted! And you won't even find what you're looking for bcuz the store is always a mess and there are no workers around who care to help! It really feels like no one works here! They only have 4 people checking out at registers and a greeter that wants to check your receipt.. but there is no helpful employees that will help you find what's you need or open up more registers.. I went in as a new patient since I have insurance however it's not active until January, So I decided to just get contact lens & after my insurance kicks in I will be getting glasses. However I ordered my contacts through the phone & everything went smooth, I also went in to look at glasses and they're very cheap compared to my other doctors office. The selection is okay, could be better. However they told me my contacts would come in two weeks later, so I figured they would call me to let me know if they have arrived & to pick them up. Well two weeks later & still no call from them, so I decided to call & my contacts are in! So if I would of never called to check maybe they wouldn't of called me at all. I like coming to this walmart because i usually am able to find exactly everything from my grocery list here. Other walmarts either don't have it, different brand, or Limited selection of. Sure the store may not be zoned, but i think the only people who really care about that are managers who work there. Im able to find what i actually want and not settle for something else. Although it happens A lot where i come for juice and they are all out of Apple juice. I also actually find the apparel sold here more to my liking, style wise. The customers are a little ghetto at times but we can't forget where we came from, haha. read more

Let me start with I hate complaining about something unless it's really worth the hassle. The main issue here is how poor customer service one of the supervisors had with me when trying to swipe my discount card (she kept saying it wasn't active) and asking me if I was still working for Walmart because my card is declined. I assured her that I was, and she even asked me which Walmart because she thought I was bluffing... The cashier told her that the card reader was messing up previously that day so most likely it was the card reader. So I asked her if she could suspend the transaction and ring me up at another register and she was ignoring me (I kid you not) so then I said that I was leaving and bammmm... magically my discount card worked. Why when I mentioned the words "I'm leaving" the register magically worked??? So rude and unprofessional. Then instead of apologizing she said "you need to ask for a new card" I felt so insulted. read more

Specifically speaking of the Pharmacy Dept. I was very displeased with my service. I went there after a very long and stressful doctor's appointment for my two sick kids. The line was so long I had to stop and question if i really wanted to wait that long but i had to get my kids' meds. I stood in line for 15 minutes before the first person was helped. The line was about 20 people deep and they had 1 person on the register at the end of her shift. There was another lady there who I have seen work the register but she appeared to be training a new hire. This lady only stepped up to help when another Wal-mart employee cut the line and asked for help picking up her Rx. when another customer started complaining about the situation she started ridiculing her instead of helping out. Then the pharmacist had to announce an apology to the crowd and explain that they were short staffed. Same employee never got on the register because she was training but did leave to go get staples and asked the one person on the register to help the trainee learn the register. She has been there for a long time but really I think it is time she moved on. Clearly she has no idea what customer service is all about. PS. This happened a few weeks ago. I wasn't going to write this because there are plenty of employees in this department that are outstanding but really I think they would be better off without this particular employee. read more

I would rather drive across town to shop at any other Walmart. Customer service is terrible, and I don't ever recommend getting a service from the Tire & Lube. The attitude from the manager Eddy sucks! I observed the way he was talking to a young employee and thought it was really unprofessional. Then I overheard a couple of employees talking about a comment he made about a female employee and how she would wear a skirt to work so he could see you know what when the wind blows! Yuck! I'm sure they didn't think I could hear but I sure did. How is this guy even managing? The GM never returned my phn call and didn't think he would. But he really needs to get that manager Eddy in check or get him out! I recently went in to a Wal-Mart establishment in Phoenix Az store #1549. My experience there was pleasant everything was neat and organzied. I choose this location based on the proximity of where were located. I visiting from out town I decided to stop by and purchase a few goodies as well a alcohol. When my sister in law and I arrived at the cashier the cashier looked at me then proceeded to look at my sister In law who was the one purchasing the items and asked for her ID because she Looks very young but she 24 years old. She provided the Id then the cashier looked at me and asked me for my Id. I was shocked I may looked like I'm under 40 but not by much (i am 34 yrs old with full facial hair btw) In this this case the younger looking person provided the id and we were still denied. I asked to speak to a manger and I had to wait 8min for a CSM. When the CSM approached she was rude, not even maintaining eye contact while she was fixing something on herself. We explained to her the issue and wanted an explanation of why we couldn't buy alcohol she explained the policy of the store and that if she came in with her 15 year old son that she wouldn't be able to purchase alcohol I asked if I were to exit the Store will my sister in law be able to buy the alcohol since she does have valid proof of identification but the CMS informed us that she will be denied purchasing alcohol regardless if I leave. In this case again the younger looking person provided ID and since I didn't have my ID on me she couldn't purchase the alcohol. I am writing this complaint because 1. Your Walmart policy holds profiling discrimination 2. The CSM and cashier were rude and inconsiderate making it the worst costumer service we ever received in Phoenix. read more

I was in your store yesterday July 9th, I have a problem walking around because of a breathing problem so if there is one of the electric riders available I get it. Well yesterday I set down on one that was in the outside area where the shopping carts are kept when your employee named Adrian told me that I could not use it because someone else was waiting for it. I ask him what made someone else special and was just told that I could not use it. I then got off of it and walked into the store, when I turned around and looked he had brought it into the store and let some kid about 9 or 10 years old get on it and take it. I always try to avoid having to come to this particular Walmart but sometimes it's a must since it is less than 10 minutes away from home. It's ALWAYS packed, the customer service is literal shit, they never have everything you need (let's say you need 5 items, you will usually only find 2 out of the 5 that you need).. The lines are ALWAYS long even the self check out. More into their customer service the employees are always in groups chit chatting/checking their phones/ talking crap about customers that "bother" them with their questions. On Friday I went in looking for those T-shirt packets for men.. the selection was awful you couldn't even call it a selection since they had less than 10 packets outs... I had to go up to a group of three female employees who were talking the day away, (since none of them seemed to have enough customer service to ask me if I needed help) and asked them if they could check in the back if they had anymore in stock.. mind you I worked at Walmart and i know for a fact you can use a scanner to see if they have anymore or even walk back there to check. They looked me up and down as if I was bothering them and one of them was about to check then the other one just flat out said "no we don't that's all we have on the floor" not even checking or trying to help or ask what size I needed.. so I walked away looked for a store manager and turns out they're on vacation! Ha! AVOID THIS PLACE BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY your money is better spent at target hell even a dollar store! read more

I don't ever go to this walmart because it's always dirty and the employees seem to hate life. But the game I wanted to buy for my nephew was only at that one. I also needed to return an Item I bought twice accidentally on their website. When I get to the cashier(Maggie) her cell phone starts ringing. she gets her phone and starts typing!! and she still hasn't started with me. after she is done, she asks what I needed. I patiently answered trying not to lose my cool. well she grabs her phone and starts texting again!!! I look to her side and I see her manager standing right next to her. she looks at her and then me. I was shocked that she does not say one thing to her. finally Maggie decides to proceed with my return to only charge me again for the item i was returning. She had to call someone else to help her do both returns. I stayed quiet and patient with both until they were done. I didn't say anything at that time because the manager was standing right next to her. If she didn't tell her anything then, she won't say anything after. read more
