Large Walmart Supercenter so it has both a large grocery section as well as a regular clothing, gardening, auto center, electronics, etc.... I stopped here to grab some snacks and the selection was really good, not to mention the good low prices. The store was very clean and tidy when I visited, most items well stacked on the shelves. Some people complain about Walmart, but being a low price leader, sometimes you might find voids in inventory or customer service due to the corporate mission of keeping things inexpensive and streamline. read more

What can one say about Walmart. It's Walmart. Because of my location, I can easily go to Wareham, Halifax, & Taunton (off of 44). This Plymouth store is clean, well-stocked and now updated to rival Target with its displays. It has a pretty good plant/nursery department. Lots of parking but there's an area to avoid because of the birds. Many many many so be weary of parking. Look for the bird area. It's obvious. Their pick up was a beyond awful experience. Won't do that ever again. Their shoppers are kind of rude to the folks who are actually shopping there. It's like 'get out of my way'. But I frequent the store. read more

If, like me, you've every been frustrated trying to find something in this or another Walmart, make sure to download the Walmart app and sign on to the in-store wifi. It's a very helpful tool when you're looking for that one thing that isn't on your usual shopping list and you can't figure out where to go. Not only does it tell you what shelf number, you can also refer to the in-app map to make your way there! Look, we all know that one way that Walmart has some of the lowest prices around on some merchandise is that they schedule their staffing tightly. This sometimes means that there isn't great coverage in the area you're looking or that items aren't restocked as fast as you might like. But at least the app gives you a fighting chance to get in and out fairly quickly and to take advantage of the savings when it's available. read more

I wanted to get a yellow raincoat which they did not have in stock. I went to the service center and asked the rep if they would be getting them in because I needed to try them on in person to see if they fit. Ignoring what I said, the rep replied, "You can find them on Walmart.com". Then I go to the razor section and for some strange reason they have Harry's Razors locked up tighter than Fort Knox. I call customer service on my phone ask them to have a clerk open the razors up so you know, I could buy some. "Of course" they replied. 10 minutes later still no clerk to open up said locked Razors. Next aisle over is the clerk obviously ignoring the message that was broadcast on the store PA system. Keep in mind the only razors that were locked up were Harry's Razors. So if you think locking them up will deter thieves think again because you bozos left every other brand of razors unlocked. Maybe thieves have standards and will only steal Harry's Razors, because they ARE that good. If all this isn't enough to make you want to shop elsewhere, they seldom have carriages ready for customers to use but if you want to walk around the parking lot you can find some. I guess having a clerk round them up and bring them back into the store is something the management at this store has decided to ignore doing. Perhaps they have self returning carriages that bring themselves back into the store. While, they have good deals here the lack of service and the stupidity that is constantly displayed by management makes you want to go to another store to shop. This store is in dire need of good management. Problems that occur could easily be rectified with a competent management team in place. read more

This is a very frustrating store. Speaking only about the grocery section.... First, the improvement in the number of checkouts open is noticeable. Good for them for doing their job. Some of their prices are a bargain, but a number of well known brands are not one bit cheaper here than elsewhere. Some of their own brand's products are quite good. The selection is not always predictable. One very frustrating aspect of shopping here is being carded if/when I buy beer or wine. I'll be 68 next month. I have gray hair, gray beard and gray mustache. I don't look like I'm only 40 let alone 21! Yet they want to see my valid ID, and to make matters worse, the cashier entered my birthday into their system. I'm done with that, and will look to see if that's even legal. read more

Similar to the Walmart in Weymouth and Halifax, these stores which contain food, continue to allow pets THAT ARE NOT SERVICE DOGS. Each store has been reported to the Board of Health due to violations of federal and state law. Domestic pets are prohibited yet management blatantly ignores the law and does not enforce the requirements. Everyone who sees a pet should do their due diligence and report the instance of violations of 105 CMR 590.007. Walmart knows what they can ask as far as the law to someone's pet and can not ask for proof if the animal being a service animal so they ignore everyone and every pet that is in the store with food. read more

It's a Walmart, it's almost impossible to expect 5 star service and assistance. The issue here really isn't on the quality of the help provided by the workers, it's the excessive wait times. Time after time I am waiting over half an hour to pick up orders assigned to me. Thankfully this Walmart also realized to add more online pickup parking spots. Communication is also very subpar. I get told by one worker that because I can't pickup one order, I have to cancel all existing orders. Then another worker in the past said I could cancel one and pickup the rest. So which is it? Regardless of what it'll be, chances are it's gonna be a long wait because they are very understaffed. read more

Sharon from Weymouth is correct on her concern regarding dogs, ( animals ) in a food store unless of course it is a true service dog and by the way most likely would be for a person with eye sight issues or legaly blind. If not what's the funtion of service the dog is providing ? Selecting the correct groceries ? The additional more concerning issue beside the dog having to go.... is people are allergic to dog hair dander and no one washes or cleans the carriges after each use. Unsuspecting customers or their children could suffer a reaction but no one cares. Worse than that the register people pet the dog and not clean their hands before handiling your groceries. You can get what you need quickly. Most personal care items are locked up which is a pain. Easier to get elsewhere rather than having to get an employee come and unlock the items/cases. Then they hold it up at the front for you until you pay. (Includes like $10 lotions etc). I always feel like I am being followed around. read more

I ordered tires from Walmart a couple of weeks ago and scheduled the installation at the Plymouth, MA, auto supercenter. Installation was supposed to be 12/14/23, but I was called that same day to tell me that my 5 pm appointment had to be cancelled, because they're short on staff. I was told that they had a 2,000 tire backlog and the next available appointment was Jan. 19, nearly a month after I ordered (and paid for) my tires. Then this morning I get a text from Walmart asking me to reschedule, but then every "available" date I plugged in returned a message about a technical error. I called Walmart's local number and spent an hour being jerked around from one phone extension to another, and finally, realizing NO ONE can help or take responsibility, I gave up. Whoever is running the Walmart Auto Center in Plymouth, MA, isn't at all doing their job and either should escalate matters so the situation can be cleared up or quit, because why work for such a f*cked up place and deal with customer complaints all day? So, Walmart, a billion dollar Fortune 500 company can't get its head out of its ass or pay people enough to work there. But what they can STILL do, is take your money, so more people like me are going to keep getting disappointed after they pay for merchandise, but can't get the service work done. read more

They refused to return the ammunition I just bought 2 hours erlayer that day. The Manager said all ammunitom sales are final and it is posted on the display shelf. I walked over to the display and observed NO sign indicating all sale are final. The sales person never told me that when I made the purchase. This is by far the worst Walmart ever. You have the rudest employees playing on their cell phones do not move, and do not speak English. Not only that you really have to watch not to get hit by employees pushing the Blue Carts shopping for other customers. Covid was 3 years ago stop blaming your lack of employees on that. Even the smallest of Walmarts have more cashiers working than this big store. This manager if you are reading this is fully aware if issues on the sales floor. The people you have checking receipts are scarey looking, never smile if I did not have to interact with them they would be the last person I would ever speak to just plan bad. Oh and the shopping Carts on the lot block spaces that would be used by customers you have the right equipment to clear them and they are being leaned on in a corner by the people that should be using them. Along with the be aware message I have sent another one to your corporate office and one to the supervisor for this area. This is a pathetic store. shame!!! I wish I was a secret shopper I would have a lot more to say about this store. One good thing, bathroom is clean. My experience with this Walmart is horrible. I spend money Mon-fri. I always try to go at 6am. Everything is stock, less people. I probably stay in there for a hr or 2. Everything is usually being marked down. So here's my problem. Every time I go there. I use self checkout cause that's what's open. But while I'm scanning. I'm always questioned about the clearance items I'm buying. I'm told that I need to take pics of sale/clearance signs of items. Even thou they ranging up the sale price. Now last incident. I'm checking out. And machine says check cart. Assistant came took everything out. Count, cancel transaction. Watch me rung up items again. Same thing. She scan all my stuff . Same results. Call for front end manager. Same thing. Went to two machines. Let someone else use both machines. Their transactions went through. But security was blocking me from paying. Now I had own joggers no pocket sweater no pocket. A blue Jean jacket with pockets at top. No purse. I was questioned if my phone holster was mines. Then told to try another Walmart. Cause system didn't work for me only. I came back next day. Return over 200$$ dollars worth of merchandise. And when I get time ti go to my storage I will return more. Talk to a manager she apologized for employee comments. But couldn't give a reason for what I was experiencing. I ask to talk to security. But I couldn't, they felt it wasn't a security issue. I am deathly ill with Long COVID and my groceries get here late, half-delivered, frozen food completely warm. I placed an order at 6pm and it's 11pm and it's "delayed". They actually told me my order is sitting out getting hot and no driver is picking it up. I have called the Walmart help line TWICE and they don't know what to do. Tell me to cancel and reorder my food. NO!!! I have enough problems being completely disabled from the vax and have been sick as a dog for over 2 and a half years. I never got sick before my vaccination and now I can't even get groceries. How do I know if they just stick my unfrozen food back in the freezer and it arrives spoiled tomorrow? It's been almost 5 years since the start of the pandemic. GET IT TOGETHER!!!! Pay your employees so you have some. Don't take orders you can't fulfill. If you can't handle the volume, DON'T ACCEPT ORDERS!!!!!! Last time, I had to chase the girl down the driveway because she only left half my order and all my food was defrosted and nasty. Want to get a rotisserie chicken, some khakis and a boat motor in the same day. No wait - make it the same hour. This is your place! Walmart has just about everything, including prepared foods, and auto section, fishing rods, a grocery store and propane grills looming overhead. (got one, thanks) But wait- there's more! Of course, you've probably been, so you don't need the whole run-down. In the days before Amazon.com and other superstores, this place was impressive. I still remember the first time I visited a Supercenter down in Florida back in 2002. We needed sunscreen, lunch and a new tire. We were in the middle of no-where FL off I-95 and this place was a godsend. But I digress. The cashier today was particularly friendly and conscientious. She put all my refrigerated items in the same bags even though they weren't grouped together that way on the belt. My only complaint is that despite it's size and variety of goods they seem to run out of things (eg. Dark Chocolate Almonds by Blue Diamond on more than one occasion). Also, the fruit isn't always appetizing. For instance, I looked at Strawberries in two places before deciding on a pint. I almost skipped the item because I didn't think they looked fresh. read more

NOT HELPING It's days like today I understand why Amazon is going to put every retailer out of business. It took 45 minutes to get any help for an order that was purchased online and paid plus I had a confirmation number and I still didn't get my order. There's a pick up room in the front of the store that has four comfy fake leather chairs. Now I know why they are up there because you're going to be waiting a long time. On a side note there was garbage all around them even store items just laying on one of the chairs. An employee and manager were here to assist me after 30 minutes and they didn't even clean up the area. It's sad when employees take no pride in the place they work. There is a kiosk where you enter your full name or confirmation number which I did and the flat screen said, "Assistance on the Way". It literally took someone twenty minutes to come help me. I asked several checkers to call someone and they said that someone would eventually come. What? Finally someone arrived and he couldn't even help me. He called the manager who took another fifteen minutes to get to me. He saw the order on his hand held computer but couldn't explain why he didn't have my order. He told me that it was being shipped to the store. I showed him the email that said my order was ready today. He told me he couldn't explain it. I asked him if his team could just pulled the items from the store shelf. He didn't like that option because it was work. I wasn't buying a roll of $2 tape. I was spending over a hundred dollars and he just didn't seem to care. Amazon they are making it so easy for you to take over. I'm not an Amazon fan but I may have to get in line with the new consumer shopping model. After 45 minutes I still didn't have my paid order and the manager just wanted me to leave. You are a manager shouldn't you figure it out. I finally grabbed a cart and walked two miles to the back of the store (not a joke it was a Superstore). I pulled the items from the shelves including the high shelves your suppose to ask for help to grab. Luckily I'm tall because I wasn't waiting another 45 minutes for someone to tell me the item was too high and I'd have to come back tomorrow. I rolled my cart to the front of the store and stopped at customer service. I asked for a manager which I wasn't given. I explained my dilemma and the lady was no help at all. I saw the young kid from pickup who I first worked with and showed him the items and my order and said, "Let's make this happen!" He couldn't even do that. The manager was called on the radio three times by name and he never answered once. Great customer service. I went to self check out and paid for my items again on my credit card and then cancelled the original order that this site couldn't seem to fill. Please get your act together before you end up like all the other retailers...bankrupt and liquidated. On a side note, Walmart contributed to send me text messages and emails to tell me my order was ready for seven days after I canceled the order. Really? How annoying is that! Please stop because your just making me mad now. This is truly a zero stars review. read more

Over 1 hour wait, for an order that Walmart emailed and told me it was ready for pickup. Waste of time using the outside pickup, I requested a pickup between 3 and 4, they called me at 2:45 and told me order was ready, arrived close to 4 and guess what, the order isn't ready, not even close to ready. Then I have to deal with the items that they substituted because they were out of stock. Since the substitute wasn't close to the original item I ended up going inside and as usual the item I wanted was sitting on the shelf. So, I was in the store in the year of 2023 February 4th. I was just trying to be a little silly goof with my friends. We went to the kiddy bike aisle. I sat down on one of those little toddler bikes and was trying my best to scoot around, but as I was standing up to get off the bike cuz it was too hard to ride with my big legs, this OLD MAN (who worked there) YELLED AT ME!!! He said "YOU CANT RIDE THE BIKE! PUT IT BACK!" And man was I just astonished. I was just trying to test it out for my little girl back at home. I know I look 16 but I'm actually 27! (thousand) This is horrible treatment of customers who WOULD HAVE paid but didn't because of this horrible treatment. I just wanted to test out that bike! What an awful place to work. I wasn't treated fairly and never had the equipment that I needed to do the basic part of my job. I was the only one in my department and NEVER got proper training. Nobody even told me how to clock in. I was getting written up daily for when I would call out being sick or after I had management adjust my schedule. I got yelled at for other people taking that responsibility. Place has no class, no consideration and they really show if they like you or not. I am not a Walmart goer, I actually hate going to Walmart because of how they are in my hometown, not the best shoppers there. I have been on the Walmart grocery pickup train for over a year now, and I'm obsessed. I actually had to go in to this Walmart today and it was the best one that I have ever been to! I did self check out so I didn't get anyone's help with anything other than when I asked someone where something was and she knew and pointed me to the correct location. Walmart grocery pick up here is A+, although I have never had any complaints about grocery pickup, other than you are not aloud to tip the employees, which is annoying to me but it's their policy. read more

I just wanted to tell everyone that Walmart Bakery is the BEST. I ordered a special birthday cake and cupcakes for my granddaughters party. 5 days before she said she wanted to change the flavors. The staff at the bakery are super. Not only did they change the flavor but also changed pickup earlier the originally scheduled. The cakes are always just as ordered or better. Even if I give them a picture they will make it. I have ordered from them for all kid's birthday or baby showers. I can't say enough about everyone that works in the bakery read more

I had a similar experience as someone else only I was in Kingston picking up an order at Target which was messed up, but I cancelled the online order & I was refunded within 5 minutes & purchased the item that was messed up on my online order in-store. * (The "refunded within 5 minutes" is key for my other experience at Walmart..) *. I then headed to Plymouth to Walmart to pick up my online order which quoted "ready by 8pm" it was the night before a holiday, I was 40 mins from home, so I wasn't going to waste gas going home & turning back around so I walked thru the store, an hour passed, I checked the aisle where the product I ordered to pick up was sitting there, plenty of Walmart employees milling around and stocking shelves- it too was spider-wrapped- and the kicker was that it was $20 cheaper if I ordered it for pickup, so when I noticed at 8pm that the "order pickup" area had closed, and I had wasted over 2 hours of time in the store, walking in circles, waiting for a "pickup" notice .. so, I tossed the item in my cart, and walked straight to customer service. They told me to cancel the online order, and I could purchase it in-store. I told them "that's fine aside from the entire reason I ordered it for pickup is bc it's $20 cheaper doing it that way" and- IN CASE NO ONE WAS AWARE- Walmart has CHANGED their PRICE MATCHING POLICIES.. they DO NOT PRICE MATCH anything, even THEIR OWN WEBSITE. So I told the woman "tomorrow is a holiday, I've wasted 2 hours here waiting until I saw that the pickup section was closed, and I'm not going to also waste gas trying to get back here another day. If you can't honor the online price then I will just buy it somewhere else."- she said I would be able to purchase it in store for the lower price, since I had proof I ordered it online, paid for it, and it never was fulfilled- so I asked "and the cashier will honor the online price?" - she stopped, waited a moment, and said "I'll just ring it up here" (like she was committing a crime-).. I had other items to grab so I wasn't yet finished with my trip there, so I paid for that item and had the receipt on me in case people questioned why I didn't ring it up when I was finished.. I quickly grabbed the rest of what I needed to, went thru self checkout, and was exiting the store- the doors wouldn't automatically open (it had to be 2 hours before closing)- and since I had worked plenty of retail jobs before I just slid them open (they weren't locked and there was no signage saying "entry/exit closed")- so I exited that way, once I got to the parking lot, some young kid came running toward the doors I had just left thru yelling something about them being closed & muttered something rude under his breath. If I had the energy I would've said something back- alas, I am NOT a "Karen"- I do feel bad for people who work for large companies bc they treat you like trash & when I dealt with the woman at customer service I was pleasant & not rude like many people I had seen before & have dealt with myself (Ive worked @ many retailers but Target was the worst).. I checked my bank acct & I had 2 charges for the same item. If I didn't already waste my entire day, I would've just gone inside and asked customer service what was going on with the fact that I was charged IMMEDIATELY (this too was a very rare item and never in stock and there were only 2 in the store- none were in the online ordering section- they checked- so before they even verified the item was in stock- they charged me for it-) and even then, at least an hour past me canceling the order, it still had not been refunded.if they can withdraw $ that quickly, they can and should refund it that quickly- or I would've just taken the second copy of the product, but I don't have an extra $ to just throw away, so I didn't. Well, I should have. After 2-3 calls to customer service, being transferred to multiple people in a call center somewhere just trying to track down my $,emails, & very close to complaints- after 6 days I was refunded. So, Target refunded me in 5 minutes, and Walmart refunded me in 6 days. I don't like either company, but Target still tries to fool you into thinking they care about their customers (and employees- which they do not) so their customer service is far superior to Walmart. Plus, Target will price match, Walmart will not price match ANYONE. Even themselves. Moral of the story is never order online to pickup in store from THIS Walmart- I have had luck at another Location & I've had luck with 2 day delivery. Plymouth just has their heads stuck up their asses & can't seem to get unstuck. read more

Though I am not a big fan of massive Walmart stores this one is exceptionally good. I prefer to shop locally but I must say the prices are sometimes unbeatable. I've move now to the shop online and pick up at store! At first it was going pretty good! Each time I still need to go back in and get what they couldn't find or a replacement for what they don't have. I get that they stock at different times of the day so not everything will be out in the shelf. What really upset me was the last time I went for pick up! They told me that they though I already picked up my order. Didn't have me sign and when I got hope a bag was missing! It was frustrating as I don't live close by! I did get my money back through the 1-800 number, but I had re shop at another store or not bother having that food for my family! Oh they also have a glitch where if you ask for one item you might get 15. I usually catch it, but one time I didn't when it first started happening. I ended up with 15 containers of croissants. I had to call and get my money back, but then I didn't know what to do with 15 containers, so I donated to the food pantry. . read more
