they conduct searches on customers after they have paid and leaving the store. they demand your receipt like they are outwardly accusing you of stealing something, I have never seen anything like what they do at the Port Isabel walmart to good, hones paying customers. they act like they want to be police officers. read more

Terrible unorganized and employees are lazy. The back counters are never manned. Have to wait up to 15 minutes for help. Management only hires Hispanics. Employees are rude. read more

Had a truly bad experience with Walmart beauty salon. My those two people working there ones name starts with A & the other is Maricruz very incompetence people both are wasting Walmart money & are just plain Incompetent !!!! I spent $ 65 & had to go do my hair somewhere else cause it was such a bad job! All they do good is gossip about others! If it was my job I would definitely take pride if I enjoyed what I do, but this women are oblivious to pride of work. Please have them trained somewhere else... This is the place to go if you're a tourist! Has all the food, clothes, fun beach toys for the kids, beer and wine for the adults, etc you might need and at much better pricing than the island. Worst Wal-Mart ever. I asked six employees help with a specific bicycle. One of them was a a manger. The app said they had it in store. The front desk said they had four in the back. It took over an hour of waiting and begging for help (and even calling the store with NO ANSWER) to say F^ck it and just grabbed a more expensive bike on the rack. The manager woman near the front looked at me like i was insane. She was the fourth person I asked for help. Told me that it probably needed assembly and was in the back if they really had four. I said awesome I want to buy it. At what register can I pick it up? All she did was have numerous associates on the PA be called to the bike department. None of them came. Insane. They're never stocked with anything. I am from another tourist trap that is even busier than SPI/PI, and it's not that bad. Maybe if management cared or they had the associates at the front checking receipts (which the legality of that is questionable), helping guests or stocking it would be better read more

After reading the one review on here I was NOT looking forward to shopping here and even thought about going somewhere else. This place was amazing!! We were greeted at the door with a smile and the whole store was so clean and organized. Everything was do easy to find. Being that my husband and I are tourists in this area and they had a lot of the same stuff as the local surf shops do at a better price! Our cashier was quiet but did a good job. Everything was bagged in a smart and organized way. Lovely experience. read more

If i could give this god foresaken place minus stars i would my wive and i brought our car in for a oil change at 3pm the manager said it would be 2 and a half hour wait we said yes i thought 150minutes to change oil what there were a few cars ahead so ok we are here now past 7pm dont bring your car here they waist your time laugh at you keep saying ur next and ur not went to the manager of the store eddie who tried to help but jamie the service manager was a asshole the girl who also works at the register is no help at all if you cant take the car in a reasonable time dont take it in you wasted 5hours of our time you are all incompetent scumbags i plan on taking this further how dare you treat people like this everyone time is valuable yours might not be working in walmart but ours is eddie i feel for u u did try and help but i dont know where or who should reconfigure how this dept is run because it sucks it is now 730pm. read more
