I don't know what is wrong with this store. Wonderful, giant huge store with a massive selection. HUGE Food section, amazing selection and variety. But the employees look like they work in the bad end of a sewage collection plant. Scowling unhappy faces. There was one very nice looking older woman, about 72 years old checking one day, and she looked so terribly tired. I know the feeling, I've worked on my feet 14 hours a day. I was very nice to her, told her what I'd learned over the years (from nurses) about great shoes that really help. She narrowed her eyes and looked at my suspiciously, and said, "The only people that are nice to me are trying to steal something. What are you trying to steal?" Oh my God, just amazing. I've seen some employees there now for over three years, I always smile and say hello, never once has any of them smiled or been friendly at all. And this you understand is in Redmond, a place where the great majority of people are friendly and happy. This is a happy place, a very very good place. The atmosphere of the employees is unhappy. Oh and I had a problem, I bought 4 of one item along with a ton of stuff. I got home and checked the receipt, they'd charged me for 5. I went back and nicely told someone, they took the receipt and said wait. I waited. About 20 minutes later I asked what was going on? He said, "They're reviewing the tape". After 45 minutes he came back and said "I'm sorry, they decided you bought 5 of the items." He suggested I look under the car seats, etc. which I did. Of course I knew how many I'd bought. Hey, these things happen but 45 minutes to review the tape, and treat me like a criminal? 26 years as a Federal law enforcement officer, I'm not used to such treatment. We only go there when it's the best price there, and if it's close we'd rather pay a bit more than have to go there. read more

This store %#*^€¥ sucks. Never before have I been treated as if the employee is doing ME a favor by my shopping there as I have at this Wal Mart. Their products #%^*+ suck, their service #£€¥*% sucks, why bother to return? There's absolutely no reason to subject yourself to the subpar service and inferior products offered here. The clientele is, what can I say, not the classiest? Today alone a rude, old cashier couldn't be bothered to give me one smile, but rather a hard time. Her buddy cashier behind her joined in and she even had a friend jump my ass when I responded to her rude demeanor in kind. Her friend admonished me for not being nicer to people. What a joke at the store that takes the cake in the biggest lack of courtesy a customer can find throughout Redmond, except maybe at Big R. I quit shopping there and, thank god, Wal Mart is next. Their shady business practices have long been repulsive to me anyway. Human beings and animals suffer so customers can save a few cents on crappy merchandise? F$&@ you, Wal Mart, and your uneducated, unprofessional staff and clientele too. Anyone who shops there has their head too far up their own ass to be believed. read more

I can't even give one star. Every time I visit this Walmart my experience is beyond horrible. Ridiculous! I tried to exchange something with receipt that I bought the previous day and I was told to wait in customer service line which was very long and then when I got my turn I just handed them the product, and they told me to go get what I wanted to exchange and then come back. So I did, waited in the long line again, which was very aggravating not just because of my wait, but because every person in line was also aggravated with their experience as well, then I could only do my exchange, the other items I ended up picking up while I was in the store, I had to go wait in the regular line, which was also very long and out of 5 people in front of me, all 5 had problems with their ring up and all 5 were upset. Clearly customer service and especially the management, who tried to help out with the line by taking the last person in line, waiting the least amount of time and helped them first. Hello. All I can say is awful awful awful. I know it Walmart, I don't expect much, but I can't leave this place without being extremely irritated and unhappy. read more

Generally speaking, the clerks are just too rude. The lines are so long, I rarely shop there anymore.

well i must say that the social distancing by extending there hours to 10pm surely dont help us shoppers when the shelves are poorly stocked and that's the entire store...i do have to say that the customer service by the employees is way more professional than the actual managers on duty ...management seems to have many attitudes and when ever u come to walmart it doesn't matter what time it happens to be when you need assistance there is no one available except for other customers in store... thats why being open 24/7 at least customer service was way better by the graveyard crew that was stocking the shelves:) btw if you are not open 24/7 then you should follow up on this hours of operation for redmond walmart superceenter cause it is incorrect and faulse advertising... thats my input about redmond supercenter walmart... i have been in customer service for over 30 plus years of my life time and its so hard for me to get use to how customers get treated here with sour looks for there customer service.. should always leave all personal problems at home or at the back door and come to your place of work with a smile and a good positive attitude...no matter whats happening in all of your lives.. çustomer service is # 1, no matter what...so i could continue to keep writing this novel but i will end it here...hope some inprovments can be made to make this a better place to come and shop for those people who like walmart... 2 star is all i can give for now!!!! read more

Walmart is normally busy. But I love some of the deals they have especially the granimals clothes for kids, they are cheap and look great. I also like that I can get my oil changed while I shop and for decent prices. Sometimes there is a line. But it's perfect for first of the month shopping read more

I live close to this store and go there often. I find it to be fine. The employees help my wheelchair bound neighbor, and know his name. The pharmacist is knowledgeable. Most of the checkers are quick, and have been polite to my husband and myself. They also don't give you the stink eye for using coupons, which Fred Meyer clerks occasionally do. I didn't give it 5 stars because sometimes the store is very cold, and sometimes there is not enough checkers for the amount of people in line. Other than that, I find this to be one of the better Walmarts. read more

Now I have seen it all. A women standing at the checkout, baring all, breastfeeding her baby. She made no attempt to cover herself, pulling her shirt completely off her shoulder baring all. I am not sure if this is even legal. Just another day at Walmart. Management should have done something about this. I wish I had taken a picture of her as I would have posted it. I would hope that Walmart's policy would not allow this behavior and I was amazed the clerk did not say something. I was in there only to make a deposit at Selco as I have long discontinued shopping at Walmart due to past experiences with long lines and employees that could care less about customer service. Saving money is not worth my time and the inconvenience of having to witness this type of behavior from your clientele. read more

I do not like Walmart due to their employment practices and the way employees are treated. But to be fair, I have always found employees to be very nice here. I returned something a while back, got it scanned and a sticker on way in and had my receipt ready at return desk. The lady working thanked me for both of those things. I said it seemed like common sense for a return. She said I would be surprised. Clearly they have to deal with morons and thieves trying to return stuff. So the people being critical of them should realize that. Or they should have some common sense and follow protocol for returns! The McDonald's was the dirtiest one I have ever seen, though. I'm guessing the same people that can't handle a simple return by the rules are letting their kids run rampant in there. Or people are just gross slobs. Probably both. I never touch anything if I can help it, and I use hand sanitizer as soon as I'm done. It's like ground zero for sickness in there! And one checkout is NOT ENOUGH! Thank god for Amazon, it's just not worth it to go here. read more

Redmond Super Walmart has helped our non-profit SAVE 19 homeless teens in Central Oregon get back on their feet, finish high school with diploma or GED, get jobs (by hiring some of these amazing young adults), and sponsoring fundraisers so we can continue to feed, clothe, mentor, and get essential services and needs filled for the youth we serve! They have never refused us any help. This may be a 'big business' but when the General Manager (Alayna) and her phenomenal leadership team - Katie, Michael, Ryan, Jacqui, Pam - to name a handful, cook and serve at fundraising BBQs, our annual rummage sale fundraiser on their days off even, provide FREE interview clothes to our kids looking for jobs, and inspire their employees to do the same, I hardly see how any one could complain! These folks have CHANGED OUR COMMUNITY by helping us change 19 generations, one life at a time! Not only have they helped Beulah's Place, but I have witnessed this same level of commitment to other organizations in our Central Oregon community. Sadly, our Redmond Walmart has rarely received recognition for their generosity and impact locally. DEFINITELY shop here.
