Deplorable self checkout!! Now, I normally don't waste my time reviewing Wally Worlds because it is what it is. However, this was probably one of the most dingy stores I've visited and not the nicest folks...as if any stores have consistently nice folks. I did; however, love these little miniature sauces and purchased quite a few. Surprisingly, they all had good flavor and I'm glad I didn't pass up on this opportunity. Coming to this Walmart Supercenter on Easter Sunday was a complete mistake. My friend and I came to pick up groceries using the pickup option in the app, and we ended up waiting almost an hour and a half with no one coming out to help us. We called multiple times and got no response, so it felt like a complete waste of time. I eventually had to go inside to the pickup area and ask for my order so I could load it myself. What made it more frustrating was how rude the workers were during that interaction, especially since I had been waiting so long and was not being rude at all. The parking situation was also a mess, with cars everywhere and it taking a while just to find a spot. To be fair, it was Easter Sunday, so I understand they were probably overwhelmed and not thrilled to be working, but it still made for a really frustrating experience. In general, this Walmart tends to be very crowded, which is something I have noticed on other visits too. read more

I may have reviewed this pharmacy before, but they deserve the highest marks! My wife and I are both in our seventies and value service above all else. Every employee is competent, helpful, knowledgeable, and courteous. Every pharmacist there has answered our questions with confidence and evidence, and they will even come around to the front of the counter to be helpful in showing us where some over-the-counter item is located, as they did for my wife today. Very much appreciated, especially at our age! I love Walmart and will keep coming back. read more

WHAT A MESS! This Walmart needs to clean up its property, including the parking lots as well as the common areas surrounding the building. There's literally trash EVERYWHERE! Isn't someone in charge of litter control? Surely the management at Walmart is aware of this issue. For crying out loud! Anyone driving past the store and/or into the parking lot area can see the utter neglect. Every type of trash is scattered throughout the exterior of this property. My mom and I waited in an hour long line to get checked out while a lady insisted that she had enough money for her groceries, but she didn't. She spent 30 minutes arguing and 30 minutes taking things out of her cart. If the worker would have told her to step aside while the rest of the customers got checked out, we would have been home 1 hour sooner. This was at saint louis shrewsbury MO center. this location for shopping (the parking lot is a war zone) and grocery delivery is essentially a useless entity and a total waste of time. Two weeks ago confirmed grocery deliveries were delayed five days in a row. It took me seven days to actually get the delivery. Today I was notified the driver was waiting and would leave shortly if I did not meet him, the driver had not arrived yet, when the driver arrived, he had the wrong order. Online it now says there was an attempted delivery, and if my delivery which was originally scheduled for between 10-12 this morning isn't delivered by six tonight, I can cancel it. I have called, they are rude and and cannot..... make that will not... make any attemptto answer a question and get this resolved. Other locations do not seem to have these issues but Roseville is closest and one would think using that location would be more practical. It's not. this does not seem to be a Walmart issue - it seems to be a Roseville lack of management issue. read more

Oh my gosh, when I say I am in shock by the state of this Walmart, I mean it. From my days of living in the cities I would always choose this Walmart over the one in midway although I lived five minutes from the midway Walmart, iykyk. It was clean, less chaotic and the police weren't parked out front, after years of the midway Walmart being the problem child of the neighborhood they removed it and made it into a "at home" (love that store but odd for the area) now forcing those Saint Paul customers to cross over to Roseville to do their shopping on a budget, this is unfortunate because the problems that were at midway Walmart have now followed. The parking lot was PURE MADNESS, people hollering, cars moving in every direction doing whatever they want - police are now parked outside 24/7. When I entered the shock continued it was insane in there, you now enter through a gate, that wasn't there before. I was searching for a strapless bra and asked the woman while I was already in the bra section if they had any strapless bras she said "here are the bras" I said yeah but do you know if there are any strapless bras? And she just walked away. Cool thanks for the help. FYI there are no strapless bras. They have added so many self checkouts I lost count and only ONE register was open with an employee.. self check out is supposed to be for those with few items but not here, everyone with their carts filled to the brim doing their own check out which is ridiculous by the way. And half of the registers were closed, if you only have one member doing cashier then why not have them all open, then someone checking receipts like it's Costco *please* if I lived in Saint Paul or Roseville I'd be driving to Vadnais heights or Woodbury to avoid this mess at all costs. read more

Its great that they have security to enforce patrons wear masks to enter the store. However, once inside patrons take their masks off completely or have it on their chin. Staff are hard to find. Its hard to get customer service, some food items have not been stocked for a few months. I realize that staff can't chance patrons to wear a mask and it is a complex issue. When shopping, be aware of your surroundings and take steps for your safety. read more

Even though there's a Walmart that's close to where I live ( I live in Robbinsdale so the closest is in Brooklyn Center and after that in Brooklyn Park) but I make a special trip to this one in Roseville , because it carries special foods like Organic Black Bean Spaghetti (pictured), pink Himalayan salt, etc. The Black Bean spaghetti is super low carb and super yummy and my favorite! I can buy things here cheaper than at Whole Foods and I love the layout and things are so easy to find. LOVE! read more

Rant First off I die inside whenever I walk I to a Walmart. Cheap garbage, the dregs of society, workers who couldn't care less, and just filth strewn everywhere. I would rather go to any other store, but circumstances and budget forced me to go to this particular one today. I had forgotten my wallet, gone back and looked for it, and couldn't find it. That's fine, right? Surely they have Apple Pay. Even a store that barely meets minimum requirements would have that basic payment method right? Anyway, I get there, two squad cars just parked on the curb in front. This isn't even abnormal, in fact, I have seen at least one police car in front EVERY TIME I've driving past. Anyway, I walk in, search FOREVER to find what I was looking for, and finally found it. By the way, merchandise, if that's what you can even call that stale past-due garbage, wad thrown everywhere. I could barely walk in some aisles without stepping on a can of Spam or expired milk. But anyway, I finally get to the checkout, make sure to ask the cashier if they have Apple Pay, (they mumbled something affirmative), and got everything scanned. As I pull out my phone to pay, I can see the cashier get panicked. They mumble that they do not in fact have Apple Pay, and tell me I'll have to pay another way. I don't have another way, so I tried to maintain calm with all my past half hour spent in that hell hole wasted, ask them if I can just give the items to them or put them in a return bin. NOPE. I had to walk my cart back, and replace EVERY ONE. Neither The cashier and the manager (I assume), that was standing right next to me, offered to help me. A pregnant woman. I can't believe it. I brought a battery 1\3\2023 And the battery went bad on it. Will not hold a charge. I been on the phone for a hour and a half and still have not been able to talk to a manager in that department. When I first call and got connected to the operator, she answer the phone like it was her own phone. She said hello, I had to ask is this Walmart? Then instead of connected me with someone about prorating the battery she comes back 20 minutes later with the price of a new one. I ask for a manager and still wait on a manager to help me. It should be a 1 star but I have had good luck with their batteries time and time again. They need to get people in charge who going to care about that sale on the phone. Gas to much to make false runs to their stores. I love 20 miles away. And since the battery have let me down, I would have to catch a buses and train to get to their location. read more

Stopped into Walmart to pick up a few things before heading out of town. Everything was easy to find thanks to the large Isle Signs that you can see throughout the store from the entrance. We were able to get in and out within 10 minutes. Spending a little over $100, I wish that Walmart had a rewards program! The parking lot is crowded every time I stop at this location. Plenty of handicap parking, as well as the motorized shopping carts. There is a greeter sitting in the front to enforce the mandatory mask law. If you don't have a mask, you do have an option to purchase one then continue to do your shopping. Check out was breezy! The cashier was pleasant, speedy and attentive. Great experience. read more

I promise to be impartial for this review. The disclaimer is because I've never liked Walmart for many reasons. They get a second star because they still carry the products others have long discontinued. I don't want order everything like household products and health/beauty on line because I want them today! At least there was a crew going through the massive parking lot cleaning the litter, too bad not enough people are assigned to cleaning the store before opening. At entrance there are the carts but I couldn't find hand baskets. If there are baskets then it's just my lack of observation. Otherwise I'll assume it's a corporate brainstorm to guide you to a cart so that you'll be inclined to add more items then you intended to buy. Shelves is disarray, clothes on the floor. There could be better signage as to what categories lie in the aisles. The beginning of the store is fairly well signed, but going further back they just vanish. This Supercenter is in a nice suburb but now looks something like the Kmart on Maryland avenue I reviewed early in my Yelp career. I figured Walmart has all the business and bucks to do better. Some understanding will be afforded for the post holiday era, but I just came from The Quarry Target and it was neat, clean efficient as in everything in the right place, but Target drops products quickly. Now to check out. Two or three aisle lights on, one flashing meaning some waiting unless you want to use the Self Check. The clerk was cheerful and chewing something and wiping crumbs away. You know what to expect when you head to walmart. Super busy, terrible parking lot (not well plowed if it's winter), long lines, bit dirty and not well stocked shelves or products blocking an aisle as they are currently getting stocked (no matter the time of day). I also noticed many prices are in accurate as well. Maybe not stocked in the right place? I do feel this location is a bit better than others I've experienced. Lower prices on some items, really like their brand soda and chips as this is what brings me back here and there. But, i know that low prices may bring lower quality environment. read more

Every time I go here I die a little bit inside but why do I continue to punish myself you ask? CLEARANCE aisle! More specifically, name brand toys, some just released, at ridiculously low prices. The parking lot of this store looks like it was designed by a three year old using an Etch A Sketch. This is very rage inducing when trying to find a parking spot. The rotisserie chicken display does make a good hand warmer on cold days, as I have never seen it stocked with actual chicken. The workers at the customer service/return area should receive extra hazard pay, because that place always looks like a set of a Michael Bay film after some Transformers have had some kind of epic battle. Also, the fact that the store is built near high voltage power lines does little to appease my fear of developing a brain tumor from exposure to them. BUT at this store , in the sporting good department , stuffs was EVERY WHERE , put back without a care in the world 10 same items hanging in all sorts of places on different price tags, some don't even have price tag! I went in there to pick out my mobile order and had to walk around the whole store to find where to go because everyone apparently only knows how to point. i find it and knock and no one comes for 5 minutes, just to tell me i have to come back tomorrow. so then i just go find and buy my item very frustrating. it was 20 steps from the pickup area. i then go to customer service to try and get more information it the 2 young girls were unable to give any help( why were they in customer service if they can't do anything?) but point me to someone else. i also noticed there's a high number of young people working who were acting very immature and yelling across the checkout areas. not sure what the standards are to work here but they are very low. this would be the very last place i'd tell someone to shop. they need to do some serious work to switch there workers attitudes and service. i will not be returning. read more

Honestly - I really don't know why people give Walmart such a bad rap. There has got to be some consumer bias upon entering this store. Employees are doing what they can when they work there, and are likely going to be upset when customers are giving them bad attitude. From my experiences at this location, specifically, I've had nothing but positive experiences from the employees I've asked for help. The prices are also very cheap, and the signs in the store allow me to find just about anything I need when I need to. In case you need to skip lines that might form up at the regular cashiers, feel free to go on the south side of the store to their self checkout. You can leave the store quick and easy. For those who need a tax exempt and are coming from the UMN (or a similar organization that has Tax Exempt status) you'll need to visit customer service with an ID to get some paperwork for you to have a Walmart tax exempt card. It's fairly simple to do, but I can imagine it might be frustrating to someone who doesn't know to set it up at Customer Service prior to purchasing everything. Yes, parking is challenging at peak times, but be patient. I honestly think of consumers can be just overall, nicer people, their experience here would be tremendously better. read more

After waiting several minutes finally someone came around and my sister POLITELY asked for help and the employee literally said no. Excuse me what like WTF. She was even wearing a yellow vest so I'm assuming that she is some kind of manager. But damn she really refused to help us especially when she's a higher up makes her even worse! This Walmart is disgusting. Most of them are but this one is exceptionally bad. On the weekends there is always a police officer on duty here (squad is parked up front by doors) and I think that says a lot. Employees are super rude and disrespectful and most of them barely even know how to speak English. It is so odd to me that this part of Roseville could have such a terrible Walmart but TADA! Here it is. It always seems as if it has been demolished by a tornado. The entire store is just a nightmare. Everything is thrown everywhere and it never seems clean or fully stocked. A full star is generous. The most chaotic shopping experience of my life. Went in to look for a tea kettle, left with an anxiety attack. Everything is thrown ramshackle on shelves so trying to find a specific item is impossible. It looks more like a Goodwill/rummage sale than a store with specific inventory. There is no discernible place to exit the store besides check out lanes. An employee reprimanded me as I tried to leave through what I thought was an exit and then couldn't be bothered to redirect me to where I was supposed to go. Checkouts were 15 ppl (minimum) deep, wrapping around the entire front of the store. I've shopped at my fair share of Wal-Marts and this was hands down THE worst. This Walmart is a $h!tshow. If you ask an employee where something is, they just blankly stare at you then say no and wander away. The store is a mess. If you go to customer service to try and do a return it's often closed. I'm not talking at 9:30 at night, I'm talking 6 pm. I've said it before and I'll say it again; ANY Walmart is a sub-par experience at best. This one is really no different from any of the other locations. Customer service overall is not good. I could get into multiple specific anecdotes, but I'll spare you and say instead that it's generally very difficult to find an employee and when you do, there's like a 40% chance they'll need to call a DIFFERENT employee, who will then take their time coming to help. Once they get there, they're often unhelpful, apathetic, or just plain rude and sassy. This being said, I HAVE had some good experiences here as well. Some of the employees are kind, cheerful, helpful, and genuinely try to make your experience a good one. Unfortunately, it's not enough to outweigh the bad. Selection is okay, but it's dingy, disorganized, and generally an unpleasant environment to shop in. Day before thanksgiving so the place was nuts. Just need a can of coconut milk-get in, get out, self check out...dude sitting at the door asks to see my receipt for one freaking can of coconut milk. I paid cash so I didn't need my receipt and threw it out at the self check out. He escorted each to the trash can, and after we found it he "walked" me out saying how patient I was. I was not patient. I had many other things to do and I'm glad your time is worth leaving the door to validate $1.19. This Walmart has check my receipt more than every other store combined and it's always small stupid stuff like this. Just done with wasting my time.
