First time at this Walmart. I am very grateful for the truck parking. Thanks!! & a very big shout out to a few of the team members for their help. I was walking up & down the aisles looking for chapstick & I finally spotted Kelly and asked her. Come to find out, I had passed it a long time ago. Lol. Thanks, Kelly! Then I went to find me a screwdriver & didn't know where they were. I must've gone down 5 or 6 aisles before I decided to give up looking. I saw George over at the Automotive desk helping someone else, so I waited patiently & he did not disappoint. He told me exactly where it was & even checked on me when he was walking by. Wow. Great service, George. Then, as I walked towards Grocery, I thought I would run into the game aisle, but that didn't happen. Thankfully, I saw Tamera & asked her where the games were & not only did she tell me, but she walked me all the way over there to the other side of the store. & then she helped me look for what I was looking for. Really great service! Thanks, Tamera!! What surprised me most about these team members is that they knew the exact aisle # that the items were on. Wow. What a memory!! I did not like that you all were out of Fishers Pecan Halves. Stock up, good people. Lol. read more

We are new to the area, but this Walmart is by far the best one we have gone to. We are originally from Texas, and those stores are horrible. I can say the Walmart in Sallisaw was a major shock to us. The produce is very fresh and seems like it's stocked well also. We didn't have any issues finding our products, and everything was actually at the store, so there is no need to go somewhere else. The employees were extremely nice and actually acknowledged us while we were in the store. They were able to answer all our questions, and while checking out, we had an issue with one of the registers, but the employee was very patient and fixed the problem. The store was very clean and kept up with. I wish more Walmarts were like this, but I'm happy we have one close to our current city. Thank you read more

I am spoiled to our local walmart in Choctaw. Was in an emergency situation and needed some trailer chains and a restroom break. I was 0 for 2. There was no mask enforcement do I had to rush through the store. They didn't have what I needed and no help in sight. The store wasn't taken care of from a cleanliness or service perspective. read more

The web site for ordering for pick up is horrible. I tried placing an order for over 7 hours and it keeps saying technical issues or site can't be reached. I know it is not on my end because I can get on any site with no problems. I never had this much problems with this site before. read more

I was released from the hospital at 1:30 PM. My nurse sent 2 scripts to the Sallisaw Walmart pharmacy at 1 PM. While I was on my way home, I called the pharmacy, to see if they were ready- this was at 2PM. I was told "We'll start working on them now." At 5:10, I showed up to Walmart to pick up my medicine, and they hadn't started working on them. I was told "It'll be about 15-20 minutes." 55 minutes later, my medicine was ready. This type of customer service is horrible, but unfortunately, it's normal for this Walmart. I normally get my meds filled elsewhere for this reason. read more

Complete lack of enforcement of COVID-19 safety precautions. Large signs on store front saying masks are required to enter. I counted 32 customers not wearing masks, saw 7 employees through an open door in back area not wearing masks, 11 employees on floor not wearing masks over nose. I asked an employee about it and she said many people have complained to corporate but there is nothing they can do. WRONG! It's called "right to refuse service"! Don't allow customers who won't comply. As for employees, send them home id they won't wear them or won't wear them correctly. COMPLETELY IRRESPONSIBLE AS A CORPORATE CITIZEN AND MAJOR BUSINESS IN THE AREA. read more

I am appalled and angry at the management in this facility, that allowed a Pitbull into the store. This dog was NOT a service dog. I know this for a fact. Your policy on Service Dogs needs to be looked at and revised ..... and people with these dogs, should be required to show LEGAL papers at the door !!!!!! This huge dog was pulling on it's leash and was totally out of control. If a real service dog had been near, this pit would have no doubt challenged it. Possibly causing harm. And if this dog thought a little kid was prey, I shudder to imagine the outcome. You could be sued for millions if that happened. You know that, right?? Of course, a few million would not matter to you, right? How about the life of a customer or a small child, or a customer who is mauled and disfigured for life. Think it can't happen??? Guess again. You have to know that 4 or 5 people died just THIS week from being mauled by pits. Two small children. Do some research. As manager of this store, you need and MUST be educated on the rules of Service dogs and you surely know how many people get FAKE papers online for their FAKE service dogs. This is exactly the scenario of the couple with the Pitbull...the totally out of control Pitbull. Service dogs do NOT behave that way and any IDIOT ought to realize this....especially a manager of a huge store where the safety of his or her customers ought to be a priority . Bought a 3 pound bag of frozen crawfish it was not even 1 pound by the time I got finished cleaning them I bought a bag of crabs it might have been 2 ounces worth of crab meat by the time I got done cleaning those these two items from Walmart or a rip off to consumers do not buy the frozen crawfish are the crabs it's a total rip you can't buy a full pound of cleaned cooked crawfish from seas seafood on Towson Avenue in Fort Smith for about $14 a pound he would pay more than that buying those frozen crawfish and trying to get a pound out of it read more

As of 2020 a man named Thomas began working here, talk about a godsend! He knows you by name if you introduce youself, is incredibly kind and easygoing, and he keeps this place running in tip-top shape. The associates will legitimately run across the store at a whistle from him, spills are cleaned up in a timely manner, and yhe shelves are actually stocked! If a shelf is empty? Tell him or ask if they have any of your item in back, and he will personally go and find it (including unloading it from the truck!). There is also another gentleman, named Michael, who works in produce. He is an incredibly compassionate man, who is in no way limited by his position in produce. If you're looking for something in the store? Mike can tell you where it is. Overall, this place has really turned around, and the workers seem to enjoy working here again. Granted, with the regular renovations to this store, items are regularly moved from aisle to aisle, but I can handle walking the aisles now that the toxic culture is put to rest. Granted, the customers are not wearing masks most of the time, however with the amount of violence that has been happening in OK because of mask requirements in stores, I'm not sure how much of that I can blame on the store versus the public. The employees and even management wear face coverings, and can regularly be seen regularly cleaning surfaces. read more

Yeah this is for the Pharmacist at the Wal-Mart Pharmacy. He gave the meds for my friend to the customer waiting in front of her. Without apologies told her because of such breach ( His fault ), she couldn't receive her meds. And arrogantly walked away. This is a Hippa violation giving meds of another patient to somebody else without checking. And then not giving patient care to the appropriate customer is reprehensible. This pharmacist should lose his licence. Total compliance issue and it should be looked into. read more

They have REAL truck parking - about 10 spaces on the side of the building (next to auto/tire service). They also have a kale superfood salad in the deli. What a delight since they were out of my favorite broccoli crunch salad. Plus, a variety of other "healthy" foods - like beet chips and cherries. I was overcharged for the cherries (make sure you check before you leave the register or pay attention while it's being rung up). But the convenient truck parking, kale salad and great customer service in the deli made my day, so I'm not stressing a couple of dollars. Definitely saving this location in my bookmarks. read more

It's Walmart. Go if want everything in one place and cheaper than other places. This location seems to alway have just enough registers open to cause lines to the back of the store. They are usually out of the one thing that I went there for. They do excel in having tons of fat people wearing pajamas and house shoes with a splash of Realtree camo. I'm thankful that I don't need one of those powered shopping carts because there is always an obese person on one. Go to Marvin's for better meat products and to True Value for hardware. read more

You can't get anyone to mix paint or talk to a store manager. there usually out of products unless you have been there after recently stocked, mainly great value products. I've waited on tires to come in & finally gave up on them & went to Ft. Smith to get them. I've learned to not waste my time on certain products because of poor customer service and lack of customer interest. Don't shop here! Managment doesn't have a clue what they're doing. Don't know policies, are arrogant, argue with customers and don't know how to make a schedule that allows enough help at registers. Heaven forbid you need help in one of the departments. NEVER enough help. I blame management. With Dollar General and a good grocery store in town I would rather pay a little more and get better service from people who care about their customers. read more

I agree with Vicki S. The problem is if you have ever lived somewhere else, you can appreciate the difference in product and customer service. The employees are not professional store staff. I have waited several minutes before to get attention while they finished their personal conversation. Sam Walton would roll over in his grave to see the selection of "cookie cutter" merchandise that is offered and they don't seem to have it in stock two times in a row. I have lived close to this Walmart for over 9 years & have never had 1 complaint with their service, checkers or anything associated with Walmart & I do all of my shopping there. I would recommend this store to anyone that is wanting lower prices, quality clothing & good merchandise. read more
