Sunday night, driving home to Houston from Bastrop, I was on I10 going through Sealy when it started raining hard and I discovered that my windshield wiper blades were too torn up to work. I made it to this Walmart. I was thinking that I could figure out which blades would fit my car and that watching a video on how to change wipers might help me. While I was already having a hard time figuring out which wipers I should get, I hear a man say, "Can I help you with anything?" Although the Automotive Service area was closed, Greg the manager of the auto department was still there. When he found out my dilemma he not only found out which wipers blades I needed, but he was able to fit the correct connector that would work with my car. He actually replaced my blades in the rain using a pen light tucked under his chin. Manager Greg put me at ease immediately and just had a very warm and happy presence as if a an actual angel had been sent to help me. I kept thinking that he must be a joy to work with. I really appreciate what Greg did for me. I've been recently widowed and having to do or deal with many things for the first time. Thus time Greg was there right before the anxiety almost started. Please give Greg a big thank you from me. He brightened what had turned into a gloomy day. He came to the rescue. read more

I had ordered tires online, waited and waited. Site finally stated tires were in. Long story short, I made an appointment for install, hours before time was notified my appointment was canceled. this happened 3 more times. Finally called Walmart and talked to Mr Gray (Tire manager). Mr Gray was truly concerned and stated he would make it right and he did! He found my tires and stated come right now and he would install my tires while I wait. Absolutely the best experience. Mr Gray turned my experience from bad to the very best. read more

If I could leave 0 stars, I would! I called 5 times, different departments several times, and waited patiently while the phone rang more than 5 minutes 4 times, ONLY TO BE HUNG UP ON! The 5th time I called, someone answered after 4 minutes! When I asked if they had any milk yet, I was told that they didn't. So I asked what's going on, I was told "I don't have any idea why we don't." This Walmart appears not to appreciate their customers AT ALL! read more

This is the second time I have been in this Walmart and ran into a staff member that has no idea why they are there. First time was a manager that refused to have a watch sized that I purchased there. This time I walk in, go straight to fishing supply. I grabbed two monofilament double drop bottom rigs. (Liters) They are like around a dollar a piece. I then went and grabbed a few groceries. You know I went and rang all my stuff up at the register and this staff member named Virginia almost tackled me like I had robbed a bank. She put her hands in my bags and searched through the stuff I had purchased looking for more fishing tackle I suppose. Not really sure what she was looking for. But all I had was the two liters and some bait, along with my groceries. Everyone standing around, as this woman elbow deep is searching through my stuff. I couldn't believe it. I felt like it was very uncalled for. I remember back in the day. That their was some educational level that would present itself when working with a Walmart employee. But now it has went to hell. I wasn't trying to get Walmart for 99 cent fishing tackle. The embarrassment that Virginia caused me has made me for sure never to go back to Sealy Walmart again. read more

Most of the cashiers don't talk or make eye contact. (there are a few long timers that are great) Conversation amongst themselves is more important than the customer. Sam Walton would turn over in his grave if he saw the state of most Walmarts now. Automotive guys are lazy. The store is fairly clean (accept for the bathrooms) I wonder if Walmart Execs ever randomly go to stores to see how the average associate treats customers. Sad!!! read more

I have to go to this store because it's convenient basically! This store is always filthy, never in stock of any product half the time (even though the Walmart distribution center is 3 miles away)! I hate the fact I have to go here but if I had a choice I would waste the gas money to go to Katy. The managers here are an absolute joke. They have gone through at least 20 store managers since the store opened in 2009. There are NEVER cashiers past 10:30 only the self check out. The workers aren't friendly at all and the CSM don't know what they are doing half the time. The parking lot is almost always full of carts, I know this because I have had my car scratched multiple times. Avoid at all costs! read more

I am a local and I use this store as a "convenience store" that usually ends up being very inconvenient. I primarily use the self checkouts now because at least the machine says "thank you", the cashiers...not so much. Last time I utilized one, she never spoke a single word to me, not even to tell me my total and proceeded to checkout the customer behind me before I could claim all of my bags from the carousel. Some cashiers are friendly but I got tired of the gamble. Restroom at the front of the store is always GROSS. Shelves are rarely stocked when I go (3-5 PM), aisles are way too cluttered with propaganda displays, General employee attitudes SUCK and lack personal pride in the jobs they do. For quality GROCERIES & great customer care, I drive to Katy - 64 mile round trip. read more

Restrooms are poorly taken care of, because as soon as you walk into the store it smells like feces!! I walked into the restroom immediately slipped on what seemed to be urine!!! A lil got in my mouth, so I began to regurgitate my lunch I had a few hours before. And they wanna get mad because my vomit was surrounding the Entrance! read more

This store is mostly understaffed, with managers who are, at best, apathetic....customer service seems to be a foreign concept and not at all a priority with the managers, although the employees tend to be helpful and friendly. I do feel sorry for the employees. On my last trip there, I asked a cashier if there was a manager who could help. She spoke to a woman who wasn't five feet away, who was in fact a manager. The manager was not only totally unhelpful, but rude. It must be difficult, and an embarrassment, to work there and deal with managers who behave that way to customers -- if they are rude to customers over a simple request for help, it can't be a pleasant or rewarding place to work. Also, the store is well-known in this town for being out-of-stock of items on a regular basis. I've given up. I am now ordering some products directly from the manufacturers. read more
