No one answers the phone here. I've been calling automotive for 2 weeks. Employees walking through the store eating out of microwave bowls. Do they not have a lunch room? Store is filthy. Rudest employees and managers. I asked an employee for a box of razors that weren't in stock in an aisle but on the Walmart app it said they had over 10 in stock. I asked kindly if he can maybe check in the back. And he said "ugh ok".. i saw him go in the back and 5 seconds later he comes out upset and says "WE DONT HAVE ANY" from a distance and walks away. I asked a manager for help but she said to ask the same employee that just blew me off. I told her what had happen and she said "if you have a problem you can leave the store". Please don't spend your hard earned money on this crappy establishment. Go elsewhere. read more

Our grocery delivery order unfortunately has to come from this store. The month of June we've had nothing but problems with our groceries. June 13 they brought us someone else's grocery order; nothing in the order was what we ordered. And June 26 we had 6 items missing from our order that they still charged me for. Very poor customer service. I pushed the call button for help with batteries up front and stood there for 5 minutes and the casheir that is working on the last register by them seen me and not once did she say she had the key and will be with me. Finally i asked her who had the key and she tells me I need to get in her checkout line to pay then she can help me. Her line was very long and dont understand why I needed to stand in line to pay to get batteries. More people need keys to these cabinets that can help. Its so stupid. really poor customer service. The clerks almost run over you with their large carts. They seem to stock all day. what ever happenned to stocking at night! The bread stocking people were very rude, as they didnot want to move and this was in the middle day. Listyen, I know about retail and bread sales/delivery as I spent 25 years in it. You did not block the the aisle or move in front of the customer. We did our work very early in the morning and then came back to spot check in the afternoon. Also, one last point to make......no shopping carts when you enter from the Garden enterance.....you have to walk all the way to the front to get a cart unless you can steal one from the employes who are approprieating in with their on stocking.......never seen that before; the carts are for Customers!! read more

This has to be the worst tire center I've visited. I came in looking to get a tire patched an hour before they closed and I was turned down and suggested a different tire place. It was visibly empty and had a several techs on site. Do not recommend. read more

I work here at night, the horrendously shocking cross contamination and working environment is literally jaw dropping, just for context, the heater turns on at night when it's already in the 90 degree range inside. Pallets of eggs and food left out almost the whole night, food found on the floor from someone changing their mind goes back in the fridges, and many other horrible disgusting things I can't put on yelp goes on here, I have pictures , I record everything because Walmart keeps hurting customers and employees. What the heck. I've been here a bajillion times and have not reviewed Selma Walmart? Hmm well if you're in the mood to wait in long lines, be stared at, crash your cart with stickers in almost every aisle and constantly wonder why they're out of basically everything, then you're in the right place. I avoid Walmart as much as possible but being that this is the only place that's a discounted retailer in the area I am forced to come here. This place never has anything even when you look online and it says they do. This place should be replaced by Costco or Winco. They stock items at the weirdest times blocking isles. The staff is rude af. No one is helpful and you can never find anyone when you need them. read more

The store is super dirty and has a creepy feel. I went a few times and never again. I was looking for a box hair color but their cosmetic's department is super tiny and pretty much useless. The food in the fresh produce section was mostly wilted and I walked out empty handed. read more

This is my mom's go to store. The employees are friendly and eager to help. Went to self check out and we started with beer and wine. The lady running the self checkout said we can't use self checkout for alcohol. What the heck!? So we had to wait in one lane that was open. As I stood there waiting, I realized that there are only 5 or 6 cashier checkout lanes. What the What!?!?!? read more

This is a nice little Walmart. It's clean, the aisles are nice and wide, and the employees are friendly. I stopped here to pick up a few items I forgot to pack on the way to give a presentation in Fresno. I found everything I was looking for quickly and made my way back out of the store in under ten minutes. The restrooms were clean, and there was plenty of parking. It's open 24 hours so it can be convenient any time of the day or night. Winner winner chicken dinner. read more

I drove out to the store because my daughter needed a shovel, and rake for her yard. I entered the garden section, ha, ha, de hah, hah! After scouring the section I asked an employee. I'm offended by your radio station it's got music that is not in English and since I can't understand it how am I supposed to know if it's offending me therefore I'm offended by the songs overall.. this is America it's an English native country the radio station should be playing English music if you want to have Mexican music then open a store in Mexico. Also treating people like their thieves by having them stop at the exit door because you're security can't keep an eye out on the cameras is ridiculous this is not Costco so stop acting like one.. This Wal-Mart has the worst customer service ! They don't like to help people. And they have a bad face on like don't ask me. It's horrible. I tried to get a bike exchange here and apparently the guy in charge of the Bicycles was off .. so no one else could help me . Does NOT make any sense. Angelica and Nancy are the people that didn't help at all. Go to target people don't waste your money here. I got 2 things and both had missing pieces. Terrible and the slowest customer service. We went to buy paint and no one helped us, we asked three employees and two of them said they don't work in that area. The third one said he would call someone but never did. We waited in the paint aisle for 15 minutes and no one came. Besides the bad service, this Walmart does not have anything in stock. From beer to bread, they are always low on items or never stocked. Very disappointed in this Walmart, by far one of the worst. If you want grocery or supplies your better off making the trip to Fresno or else where than this Walmart. Also the employees here are very good at ignoring customers. read more

I actually love this Walmart Supercenter compared to the one close to where I reside in National City, San Diego. The people here are so much nicer and it's very clean and well kept here. It's also not too crowded and the cashier lines are never too long. I came here a lot as a kid when I was growing up in Fowler and I don't ever remember having bad memories from the lines. In National City, that's a whole other story. Majority of the days it's three registers open with 10 people in each. :( Sure it's not as nice as some of the other places near by, but it's definitely the cheapest place and where you can get the most bang for your buck. Central Valley is low income and can be ghetto in general, so don't judge so harshly! read more

This is a pretty nice store, as far as Walmarts go. It is vastly superior to any of the ones in Fresno, in my opinion. The parking lot is huge, which is nice, but I always park far away and walk. It's just easier than waiting for hordes of people that are always crossing/standing in the middle of the parking lot for no apparent reasons. What I've said about other Walmarts holds true here-don't ever come around the first of the month, and don't use a shopping cart! You will end up trapped within a crush of people/shopping carts in an aisle and may never get through. I was really excited when they put in the grocery section. It's not a true Super Walmart but hey, it's pretty exciting for the Selma area. Their produce is very cheap and usually pretty good. Their garden section seems to be lacking. It's smaller than other ones I've been to. Hopefully they have some plants now that it's spring and I can replace everything that the frost killed over the winter. The other good thing about this store is that they have about 200 registers, and unlike TARGET and SAVE MART, they have more than one or two open at a time. In fact, they usually have at least ten open. I also like that they have a bunch of express lanes. The location is also great. It's about two seconds from the 99 so you can hit it up without having to go too far out of the way from the freeway. read more

As a retail worker, I am appalled by the service I received tonight from a cashier named Jackie(sp?) picked up a bundle of fabric I had been looking for at multiple walmarts. This happened about 8:30 at night on a Tuesday, several lines were open and there were only a few people in line in front of me and none behind. Cashier went to ring up my fabric and said "No tag? " Which I hadn't noticed unfortunately. Instead of saying "let me get a price check" or "do you know what the price is?" (as a last resort to handkey the item) she instantly copped an attitude and said "I can't do anything with this, you have to go get another one. I can't help you" Excuse me? There are certain things that you do not say to a customer and everything she said was on that list. As a customer it absolutely is not my job to go get another item, that falls on the cashier. If she had actually been at all nice, I would have been much more inclined to do so. So my friends and I all begin to walk away, after wishing her a good night, lamenting the fact that in our store we would be written up if we pulled something like that, when the cashier immediately walked to the end of her register and began complaining about us and what we were saying. In ear shot. We as customers had no reason to not say the things we did, because it was simple fact. Rude, lazy, unappreciative workers should not be allowed to slide. Treat your customers the way you want to be treated. read more

Came to walmart to grab some simple groceries. Went to the self check out and had a bottle of wine in the cart. The worker there told me to pay for the wine before paying for anything else but asked for my ID (totally normal) BUT THEN asked my little sister for her ID too even though she was buying her own stuff on her own separate transaction. We tried to explain to the (very stubborn) worker that we had never had a problem in the past with myself buying wine while with my little sister or any other person for that fact but the lady would not sell the wine to me. She told me that the workers were watching everywhere so it wouldn't just be her watching so she simply could not sell the wine to me. I have never encountered a problem like this and it definitely made me think differently of the customer service there at Walmart. read more

I was just passing though and stopped in this Walmart which was a huge mistake. Everything was fine until the very end when in the parking lot a man was hitting and kicking a woman in front of her children. A "manager" by the name of Gio just stood by and watched as another customer had to be the one to jump in and pull this dude off of her! When I said to Gio he should have called the police he ignored me and told me I didn't know the situation. There's never a situation for a man to be publicly beating a woman. PERIOD. So I asked Gio what's his name which he refused to give me I could only see it the closer I got to him. He then took pictures of me while I was driving away with his little gaggle of team members crowding around him. They should all be fired. I am a manager at a major retail store and would never allow this to happen. The way Gio acted toward this woman was unprofessional and the way he acted towards me was equally unprofessional. I don't know how they hire at this store but this dude is bottom of the barrel. Do not spend your money at this store. read more
