This Fresno location is larger and offers a brighter, cleaner, and more inviting atmosphere. It is well-organized, with wider aisles that make it easier to navigate. In contrast, the smaller Clovis store feels more cramped, with tighter aisles and limited space for displaying products, which can lead to congestion. Like many shoppers at Trader Joe's, I appreciate the brand's unique, high-quality private-label items and budget-friendly pricing. This Fresno store also carries a broader selection of the globally inspired products they are known for, including Asian rice crackers, frozen Indian meals, Italian gouda cheeses, and an impressive assortment of international wines. Fresno has a Trader Joe's so that's cool. My friend that lives here stopped in and bought these frozen mini shrimp baos. They 'looked" good on the package and the concept was good. But the actual product was not so good. I mean it wasn't, I want my money back, bad, but I'd never get there again. We actually steamed them as the best way to get a good experience. You know, microwaving is always gonna be as good as steaming when it comes to these baos. They looked appetizing but the shrimp patty inside was kind flavorless. Even using the supplied dipping sauce didn't help too much. The bao bread was OK though. So, skip this product at Trader Joe's, there's plenty of better stuff to try here. I've been to this Trader Joe's a few times now (since it's the closest one to Yosemite) and have only had great experiences so far. For a bigger city Trader Joe's, parking is not too bad at all. I've never had any trouble finding a space, even on busy weekend nights. I almost always get a couple of salads, and they are always as fresh and delicious as can be. My favorite is the one in the picture that I posted (Field Fresh Chopped Salad with Grilled White Chicken Meat)-- I could literally eat that salad every single day of my life. Some of my other main go to items from this location include dried fruits, chips, crackers, and dried snacks that are good for camping and not having much access to refrigeration, in general. Everything I've bought here has been top quality, even for a Trader Joe's. I will definitely keep coming back to this location any time I need to resupply between Fresno and Yosemite. read more

Of course, I got the Maple Leaf cookies. 2 boxes because Hubby loves them. I got a bottle of pure honey and a bag of assorted nuts for myself. The store was being stocked as fast as customers were pulling items off the shelf. I love the fact that they were actually checking and removing items in the cheese section from the shelves based on expiration dates. Well done! The associates asked if I needed help with anything. Traders Joes located right off N Friant nearby highway 41. The parking situation is scarce due to its located in one of the business shopping areas in North Fresno. We found parking right out front of the store. We went there for the first time to get some healthy snacks. We asked where the snacks to one of the staff there. The store was cleanish for a grocery store. However, the staff clearly was observing us closely during the entire time we entered and left the store. . We did not have a super customer experience at Traders Joes. It's unlikely we will be returning to there facilities again. Parking: Chaotic, the only reason I stopped by was because I needed a side with my shrimp scampi pizza (which I didn't realize have prosciutto, so that was a lent fail) It had been a few years since I visited Trader Joe's. I would probably visit more often if they were still on Gettysburg and Blackstone since I am in Tower District. I also used to go to the one on Willow and Nees a lot because I used to work around there. I have always loved the flowers at Trader Joe's, the tulips were nice, just needed to open up a bit. Stopped by a few sections. Got some creamy 4 cheese potato scallops, saw the strawberries for less than $20 so I got a carton, stopped by the seafood section and got chips (skin on fries) and battered fish nuggets so we can have fish n chips next Saturday. Cruised down the wine aisle, remembering two buck Chuck and then remembered there were these dried Mango with chili seasoning I used to buy from TJ all the time. I asked one of the workers who was extremely nice and pointed me to it. Then, I went to ring up my order and the cashier and person bagging up my food was extremely friendly. Overall, I enjoyed going to Trader Joe's and will be back again. The prices were also quite fair considering we go to Smart n Final and pay similar prices for things. For a seemingly small grocery store, it has an abundance of items. read more

This is our go to Trader Joe's due to location. The staff here is extremely friendly and helpful. Some of our regularly purchased items were not available during the global supply shortage but they very quickly developed items that were good replacements. On 7.12.20, their Mask enforcement was on point! They talked to a guy who pulled the Karen move of not complying, they offered masks, and then promptly asked him to leave. Freaking awesome customer service, if I ever saw it. Thanks, team, for standing your ground. Be prepared, it can get crowded during rush hour and pre-holiday and Super Bowl like events. This can put a damper on maneuverability around aisles/humans/children. They stock their items regularly and maintain a high level of FIFO, keeping the aisles pristine, presentable, and functional. The restrooms are kept up as well. As of 2/2/23, the businesses have occupied a majority of this corner lot, pulling in more people than the parking spaces can manage. Otherwise, I enjoy this location and am glad the alcohol section isn't as big as some other locations (though wish it took up less space still...) read more

I love Trader Joe's and this location does not disappoint me. I live in San Diego and shop there all the time and when I drive up north I hit up the Bakersfield location and recently here in Fresno. They always have the Moscato that my sister loves that is sold out in Southern California. Last year came here for my mother's birthday one of the workers bought her some flowers. Staff are always friendly asking if they can assist you very knowledgeable of their products. They've never disappointed making recommendations. My nephew always says Tia can you bring me down some movie theater popcorn and this time he went with us- he stocked up and I did for the first time and now I get the hype about it. I'm addicted to their movie theater popcorn!!! If somethings not on the shelf ask them to look it up and let you know when it will likely be in stock. TJ's has not disappointed me for the Pumpkin Spice season. I picked up as much pumpkin flavored items that caught my eye. I didn't even touch on the soups or pasta sauces they had. They had a pumpkin curry sauce that sounded good but I wasn't sure my family would eat it besides me. I stocked up on a few items because I only come out to TJ's about once every few months. The only cookie you will ever need are the mini crispy chocolate chip cookies in a tub. They melt in your mouth and you can eat them like popcorn (even though you shouldn't) I love a lot of the options here, the business is clean and staff is nice. read more

I could not wait to get home to write this review. I went to Trader Joe's this morning for my weekly TJ haul. After grabbing all my TJ faves and household staples I decided to peruse the Prosecco selection. I grabbed a bottle of Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco PROSECCO SUPERIORE D.O.C.G Mike, who was nearby quickly came over and said that was the best bottle on the shelf! We started to chitchat about Prosecco's and I was really impressed with all the knowledge he shared with me. I love when a store associate knows about the products they carry and can make a recommendation. I learned so much during this quick chat and can't wait to chill this bad boy and pop it open! this is the fourth time my bag of romaine lettuce has gone bad after a a couple days of buying it. it's COLD in the crisper part of my fridge so don't know what is up with their lettuce. also, expiration is not for another week. this should NOT be happening. same with their organic cilantro. it started turning sludge brown. & we JUST bought it. they are always out of their trader joe's brand yogurt here. the jar of organic mayo we just opened is BAD, we had to throw it out bc we already got rid of the receipt. for the way prices on food is increasing, so should the QUALITY of their food. the managers of this location NEED to inspect their food items they put out before someone gets really sick or dies from FOOD POISONING. One of my favorite stores to shop at. The staff here are very nice and helpful. Sometimes I'll ask if they have a certain item and instead of them just telling me where it's at, the staff member will walk me over to that item if they have it. The store here is clean and well stocked. Sometimes it can get crowded, so we like to go when it opens or 30 minutes before closing time. Checking out is always great. The cashiers are all very friendly and always make conversation with us. Most of the time all the cashiers are open or they will make sure most are open if there's a long line. We never wait longer than 2 minutes. I definitely recommend Trader Joe's for groceries or basic household needs. read more
