I am about ready to give up shopping here. Shelves are mostly empty in the grocery section especially dairy and frozen foods. New management let go overnight sticking staff I am told. Now you can't find anything but empty shelves when trying to shop. About the only thing fully stocked are the seasonal irtems.

    Self service.

Amazing electric outline detail and dry shave I would probably buy it again if I didn't have one already

Customer service is terrible. Constant long lines. Night manager is beyond useless.

Our evening stop was Cracker Barrel, which delivered the usual comfort meal before we settled in for the night in the campervan. The parking lot felt calm and open enough that we could wind down without any fuss, and by morning we were able to swing over to Publix for a few breakfast items that toasted up nicely in the van as we headed toward the next stretch of highway. What makes Saraland Crossings work is how much else is tucked into the same footprint. You've got Mugshots for burgers, fast food for both pizza and subs if you want something quick, the Peach Cobbler Factory for a sweet detour, tacos for a different mood entirely, and a mix of everyday services like a hair salon, dentistry, and even a large medical plaza that anchors the far side of the center. It's one of those places where you can tell the community uses it for more than errands, because the storefronts feel active without being chaotic, and the parking lot has that steady, lived-in rhythm that makes travel stops feel easier. Getting in and out is simple, with wide entrances and exits that connect cleanly to the main road, and the whole layout is straightforward enough that you don't have to loop around or fight for a spot. For an overnight pause between destinations, it checked every box: food, groceries, a quiet place to park, and a surprising number of options if you wanted to linger a little longer. It is conveniently located just off the highway and for me it was convenient to my hotel.
