I would give this store a minus 10 if it were possible. I moved to Sherwood in 2015 and I have been going to this store on a near daily basis since then. On 97% of these visits were not only to buy groceries but also to purchase my beer. Never had a problem until this last Saturday, Feb 3, 2024. I went in, got the groceries that I needed and my beer for the weekend. I go to the self checkout and after ringing up everything, the clerk walked over and instead of okaying my purchase she proceeded to tell that I HAD o show her my drivers liscense. I pointed to the sign that is on EVERY register which states, "IF YOU APPEAR TO BE UNDER THE AGE OF 40, WE ID." I pointed to the sign and asked her if I looked like I was 40 or under (I'm 73). She said it didn't matter, that I had to show her my ID. I refused and asked for a supervisor. Two came over. They both reiterated what the clerk had said. Once more I pointed to the sign and asked if I 'APPEARED" to be under the age of 40. They stated that it made no difference, that I had to show my ID. I asked if they were refusing to sell me the beer and they said three different times that if I didn't show them my ID that I couldn't buy the beer. I almost where to stick the beer and all the rest of the items but I didn't. I was humiliated and embarrassed by their cavalier attitude and the way that I was being talked down to as though I was a child. I walked out and said I'd never be back. I strongly urge EVERYONE over the age of 50 who has ANY dignity or pride to avoid and boycott this store!!!! read more

"Elsa" in the women's dressing room was useless and had the worst attitude. I work in the service industry, and know how to treat people. I asked her to help me find a pair of period underwear for women and she was dismissive and so rude. It's embarrassing enough to ask for help finding menstrual supplies. I have poor eyesight and the store is always disheveled so it's hard to find anything. I had checked the isle the Walmart App told me it was on, and told her so... she told me "well, if you looked that's all we have." I ended up having another CUSTOMER help me find the item that they indeed had in stock. Leave it to Walmart to hire people who don't give a crap. Also, I have her on video not being helpful at all and leaving me when I kept asking her for help. She just wanted to get paid for doing nothing. read more

I called Grocery pickup regarding an issue I called Mon the 8th at 2:27 pm and the young man answered the phone rudely. I politely said pardon me. He mocked and exaggerated the greets WAALLLL MAAARRTTT I interrupted him and stopped him and asked for a manager. I was in shocked and hurt, I told the manager and told him what just happened. DISABILITY MADE FUN OF! I told him.He was nice. And I asked him re grocery Walmart order. I hung up . Then I thought about it called back at 2:33 and then a different young man answered and I said 'I need to please speak with a supervisor' the man paused for a second and snickers 'Say that again" and hung up on me. This location is big, clean, and the staff I encountered were friendly. Much much better than the Jacksonville location that isn't as big as this store or Cabot. Came in for on a hunt for something specific Christmas related that was out at Cabot and Jacksonville didn't carry at all and was able to find it here. There were a couple ladies that were restocking shelves in the Christmas section who were singing gospel songs while I was shopping. Man, does Wal-Mart have a talent showcase like LinkedIn?! Those ladies had some pipes! My complaint about this location is that signage for this location sucks. There's a sign that sits on the ground and that's about it from the main road. Because it's so far back, further than other businesses that sit right along 107, if you didn't know where to look or aren't familiar with the area (as I am), you could miss your turn. The Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market is easier to spot and is literally feet away, which I thought was interesting that it was so close to a supercenter. Nice location. Won't frequent here much since we live in Cabot, but nice to know it may be a place I could find items I might not find in Cabot. read more

The Customer Service department does not answer the phones, actually it's hard trying to get through to any of the departments in the store

I made a Covid Booster appt and showed up 15 minutes early. The paperwork was processed quickly and I observed one person get a shot while we were doing that. I was told to wait. There was no one getting shots at all. At 20 minutes past my appt time, I flagged the pharmacy staff and was waved at and heard "i know, i know". 10 minutes later I was given a shot. The entire time, there were no other customers except for a woman that walked in for a flu shot and asked how long it would take. She was told 30 minutes. She said no thank you. The pharmacist walked out and apologized for the wait and said a lot of people were getting shots!!! There were not!!! Then he asked me to initial a touch screen and before I was finished, jerked it away. Something going on with that guy. I did observe him handle a belligerent customer professionally earlier and he seemed to do fine. Very odd. I was as courteous as possible this entire time. I can understand they might have staffing problems or whatever, but this was ridiculous as it unfolded. Why make an appt when you show up on time and have to wait 30 minutes when no one else is there getting shots? i'll get my booster elsewhere next time, as will my neighbor (word of mouth) BTW: when I first showed up, I was surprised there was no one getting shots. I'm thankful for this place to shop but I had a terrible experience with a deli employee, a white guy around 40. I asked for 2 types of chicken wings. First he lectured me on why he couldn't put them in one box. Ok, awkward, but no big deal. After wrapping my first order I mentioned the second order. He told me I had no need to talk to him as he had total recall and he knows everything, so I don't have to tell him anything. I was shocked at this cutting response. I asked him if he was having a bad day. He continued to belittle me. I said, you don't want to treat a customer this way. He waved at me and said, "bye, bye". I asked his name. Decided to schedule an order for pickup since I purchased the Walmart+. The order only contained about 4 items. The time slot was 6-7 pm. Checked in at 6pm and order was still not out at 6:45. Finally got someone on the phone that disputed my check in time and said the order would be out "soon". I hate I purchased the Walmart + and will try to get a refund. Worst service still. read more

I rarely give poor ratings- if ever. This is the second time this has happened and because it was a store manager who sent us to the self check out I felt compelled to share. We went to the register where the store manager Donna was checking out 2 other women- she said her lane was closed- I'm just selling them cigarettes. It was 5AM- no other lanes were open. So we went to the self check out where there wasn't any customers. I was already frustrated because I suffer from severe back pain and scanning and bagging a shopping cart full of items does not help my condition. I asked an associate nearby to speak to a manager- he asked why. I said can I just speak to the manager- he said she's checking people out at the cigarette aisle. I said yes I know- she refused to check us out there. He said she'll be over in a few mins. By the time she made it over to self checkout, I was getting my receipt printed. She didn't ask how she could help- she just said have a nice day. As we walked out the door, you looked to your right on the sidewalk and there were 4 or 5 associates sitting outside smoking and talking. The lack of customer service is the reason I will no longer shop at this location. I can usually find a reasonable explanation for poor service but knowing that the manager refused to check us out- there was really no reason to expect to be treated with respect or care by the associates nor was there a way to address the concern since there person in charge was part of the problem. Went in at 10:50pm to buy bluetooth headphones, asked 2 different associates for someone to bring a key to open the case so I could get the item I wanted, and was told that noone had a key, electronics closed at 10, and they were locked up til 7am. I asked for a manager, and was denied the ability to talk to one, Dan (name tags said coach), told me he was a manager, and Fredrick (team leader), both refused to find a key to unlock the display. Upon me asking for a manager, I was told to leave the store or cops would be called. I was refused the ability to purchase the item I went to buy, and refused the ability to speak to a manager to solve the problem. Worst experience ever at that Walmart. read more

Waited over an hour for a pickup after checking in. Service is extremely slow, workers very unorganized in the online shopping area.

The employees are continuously rude and I hate to go in there. I have no problems at other Walmart stores, or any other stores for that matter, but I have experienced rude employees so often at this location, in different departments and at customer service, that I refuse to go in there most of the time. What terrible management to allow employees to refuse returns out of spite and to ask customers to pick up other peoples clothes out of dressing rooms. I took some stuff back & wanted it on my credit card & because I used a $51.26 gift card they wouldn't put it back on my credit I'm upset because I didn't have the option to put it back on my credit card cuz I used a gift card from Walmart They put it on another gift card. I am upset because I needed the money back on my credit card. It's not fair that I have to spend my money there. I really needed the $51.00 back on my credit card cuz I over spent at Walmart. I bought a 2-pack of Onn printer cartridges in October at the Sherwood Arkansas Wal-mart. I like to have a cartridge on-hand when my printer runs out of ink. Last night I put a new cartridge in my printer and the cartridge was defective. Today I tried to get a refund but was told since the package was opened and since the cartridge was bought more than 30 days ago, that I couldn't get my money back. I was not given a chance to explain the situation, nor do I understand how to install an ink cartridge without opening its package. Wal-mart took my money for a defective product. read more
