They even had the malt powder. Home I went to bake up my first loaf ever and it was excellent! The have all sorts of things, if you like to bake- thickening agents, Sugars, flavorings,...a variety of jams, cheese, meats, baking pans, gadgets... They have fresh baked bread-we brought home a loaf of sourdough bread- regular loaf style but was fresh and pretty good. Planning a trip back with some friends, there is a nice new cafe in Roxboro- Incorrigible Cafe, will grab lunch there and then head over to Yoder's for something different to do. There is also an old school house and jail in town. I believe you need an appointment to go inside. Also prices were good compared to Whole Foods. Worth a trip if you don't live nearby.

Very disappointed with my experience. I purchased a rug in-store and was told I had seven days to…read morepick it up. Three days later, I called the store about 45 minutes before arriving to let them know I was on my way. When I arrived, I immediately saw the rug I had already purchased sitting in a basket. I mentioned that they had already brought my rug up, but an associate insisted it wasn't mine and called the manager to look for it in the back. While they searched, I showed them a photo of the rug and my receipt. They confirmed my purchase was in the system but still couldn't find it. I even walked to the back of the store to show the manager where the rug had been. By the time I returned to the front, the associate had sold my rug to another customer. The rug had been sold twice--even though I had already paid for it days earlier. The manager told me there was nothing they could do except issue a refund. While I got my money back, that did not make up for the wasted trip, the time I spent, or the frustration of having an item I had already purchased sold to someone else. This situation should never have happened. Better communication and inventory control are clearly needed. I expected much better customer service and would not recommend this store based on my experience.

There's always something I really really really need. Of course, I don't, but I tell myself I do because it's so fun to discover stuff. The store is packed with items and the aisles are very small because of it. But that's not a bad thing; it's a good thing. I have to admit; this is the only place like this that I enjoy shopping at. The last time I was here, I found some spray paint for a fraction of what it would cast in Home Depot or Lowes. Who knew I needed spray paint? Even I didn't know until I saw the bargain prices and "had" to have it! My wife doesn't like when I go here because I roam around and look at everything. Why yes, we did need a sushi roller, honey. When those went bust loooong ago, the city went downhill. This is the only mall in the area, and when you have a population without a lot of money, you get stores, or a lack thereof, to match. Well, there were 4 anchor stores here: Belks, Sears, JC Penny, and Dunhams Spirts. Sears and JC penny are gone. The "food court" has a Chinese food place and a cookie place. Elsewhere, there's a Chick-fil-A and a pretzel joint. The majority of the stores are gone. However, the mall is not run down or dirty. It's clean, well lit, and inviting. With the new Cesar's casino in Danville, expect some major changes to happen to this mall.

Came in here on a weekday and I can count the people that were shopping. People also come here to walk for exercise. They have the right idea. No people to bump into and disrupt your exercise! Lol The number of places to eat is very limited. By that I mean there's only 4. I'm okay with that, because all I want's Cinnamon pretzel bites at Monk's. The girl behind the register greeted us immediately plus there's no line! There's a department store (Belk) . They didn't have a huge selection. So, I didn't find what I was looking for. The prices seemed to be less than Belk's in big cities, which is nice! Hopefully, vendors will start coming in soon in anticipation of Caesars Virginia's opening in 2024.
