It's the only station in town, leaving your camper on the campsite and filling up is highly recommended. (It's small) Be patient there is typically 1 or 2 employees and they are working hard, the place is busy. Ice is cheaper down the road but sometimes it's worth paying a little extra for the convenience. Ambiance? It's a "quickie mart" I wouldn't take my wife there on a date.

It's the pricing that I have a problem with. I'm constantly being overcharged on items that the shelf label says one thing but I'm charged another. On 5-22-22 two of the females that was working basically was arguing with me that I wasn't over charged that the computer changed it to the right place. One even said I was only paying 1.32 an item instead of the 1.75 that showed on the receipt. Where she got the $1.32 from I have no idea. It was buy 3 get one free. The computer did digital take off of .43 three times and .46 one time adding to $1.75 being taken off for the free item. I still was overcharged. The items was labeled to cost 1.50 an item not the $1.75 that I was charged. Their customer service was so bad and rude. They even gave my daughter a hard time cause she wanted to return some items she had just purchased and they was closing in 5 mins this was stated by them not me. I'm including a pic of the receipt anyone can add up the discounts. I'm also including a copy of the receipt of the same items from a different dollar general here in town that was priced and rung up the same way but there prices was right to begin with so there was no issue. I'm only posting for comparison. You will see that the 1.75 total discount only covers the free bag. O yeah I also told them and showed them my previous receipt when I was over charged before and one of them said well that was before. Mind you I did not get that receipt corrected either and I was overcharged on at least 4 items on that receipt. I started to contact the attorney general as well smh.

While I was only looking for mens shoes, they do carry womens and childrens shoes as well. They weren't as busy as I thought they would be and it allowed me to have a great experience and a lot of interaction with the male employee on duty. If corporate is reading this I didn't catch his name but his ID was 253710 on my receipt. I was greeted when I walked in the door, asked what I was shopping for, and directed where to go. After looking for a little while, the guy came over asked if I needed help or any suggestions. He was knowledgable about the products they caried and while I was trying on shoes he grabbed a couple of different sizes I needed which was appreciated. They carry a lot of the national brands of tennis shoes and have a pretty decent selection. They had a lot of odd color combinations, perhaps because they are an outlet store and not a department store, that I did not find appealing and were somewhat lacking in something that appealed to me (white or black dominant colors). To each theri own when it comes to shoes so don't let me dissuade you if loud and proud is you. Their prices seemed to be a little lower than the major chains and their sales seemed to be a little bit better than what you see at the department stores. The clearance section was a hodgepodge of leftovers but their prices were outstanding 50%-75% off regular retail. I did locate a pair of boots I liked and purchased. The checkout experience was fast, friendly and efficient. When asked about tennis shoes, I let them know they didn't have something for me and the guy suggested I try their online store. When I got home I did go online and found what I wanted so while the store missed that sale the company got it in the end. I would recommend this store and their chain to anyone.

I made it a point to stop here the next time I was in the area and I was not disappointed. When walking in I was reminded of the early days of Big Lots. A store that purchases a lot of buy outs, close outs, discontinues, off brands, and foreign imports. They honestly have a little bit of everything from groceries, housewares, clothes, books, toys, knick-nacks, pet supplies, automotive, home improvement, outdoor stuff, a little of this and a little more of that. The employees were helpful and knowledgable of where things were located. Not knowing where anything was, they could have used more overhead signage, I was able to find an employee quickly and he was able to direct me where I needed to go. Just after I found what I was looking for the employee showed up to make sure I found it. As my item was located in the back of the store I was able to get the lay of the land and the layout and organization did make sense. Still if an employee was not available overhead signage or a store map would make it easier for a customer to find what they were looking for. In general the store was clean, nothing was obstructing the aisles, and it appeared as if things were well stocked. Checkout was fast, friendly, and efficient.They have a loyalty program that I declined, but it may be beneficial to someone that shops here on a regular basis. Overall I had a great experience and would recommend shopping here if you see something they advertise you want, you get a referral as I did, or if you are looking to say a few bucks. I am very happy with my purchase, it had great value. The same manufacturer is sold on Amazon.com for $20-30.00 more depending on the seller who is offering it.
