I got this far for the night, arriving late and spending the night in the Walmart parking lot. Yes, this Walmart tolerates RVers. The store was still open so I did pop in for a quick shop for supplies and a visit to the restroom. I found the store to be well stocked, tidy and the self-checkout machine worked well. Easy! When you are checking your self out and you are obviously being targeted not only by one but two check out watchers. I paid for my first purchases and then paid for my second and I could here them behind me. I started putting my purchases back in my cart and the one lady came over and said I need to check your bag. I said I just purchased it and I dont steal from Walmart never have, never will. , mind you I just bout almost 400.00 worth of stuff. She said I need to look in your bag. I said really. The other clerk said its just policy. Really??? I just self checked my self while you two stood there stalking me. I said really??, she proceeded to open the snoopy bag and then asked if I wanted the paper removed from the inside, I said whatever. I dont care. Then she backed up and stood next two the other guy . I almost felt like going to Custemer service and returning the snoopy bag. When I decided to load it in my cart some other customer told me im getting coal for Christmas. Sad thing is. I spend allot of money at that Walmart. There could of been a nicer way of approaching me and saying its customer policy to check large bags, but to act accusedly as if I stole something, that's another thing. I always keep my recipt handy and am more than willing to show it at the door. But I felt like I was a target. Do better Walmart. I usually find what I need, if you dont trust your customers then close self checkout and go back to checking people out. Walmart is so disrespectful to there employees and some of them don't wash there clothes nor take a shower I would not work there

Needed supplies for stay through week in area, good place to stop for needed supplies. Facility were staying at has laundry facility on premise, figure they would be able to provide change with purchases. NOPE, was told it's their policy they cannot. Was told to go to laundry mat to do laundry, why when we have a laundry facility two doors from the rental. All I need is change to do it with the supplies I purchased from Walmart. Duh....so much for customer service when your visiting their states in WI. read more

Walmart falling apart this is a common occurrence I watched as 3 employees watch an older lady struggle to lift n scan her dog food I was like mam can I grab that for you I half ass scared it I'm not sure it workee but whatever are you simply there to make sure I do my job right that's scan all my stuff or can you assist some one of any age gender with some kind words and help also the shelf's are always dirty I can understand the how empty they are covid right but I can't understand the filthy nastyness. read more

Went in for oil change, helped 1st customer, started to talk with me, then went to next customer. Asked supposed supervisor why they were speaking to the next inline instead of helping me. Got told they were helping both of us? I understand good customer service is a thing of the past, but now lines don't matter? I just cease to exist? Bad enough they will stop talking to answer the phone when your standing right there, now they can pick and choose who they want to see next. read more

If you need it they pretty much have it at Walmart. Staff are knowledgeable, prices are low.

Most of the employees are nice and the store is clean. Tomah loses my business to Black River Falls and Sparta (or Aldi or Molter's in Tomah) though because of smaller selection of things I buy and it doesn't have grocery pickup and the others do. (As someone with mobility issues and a special needs child, grocery pickup is a Godsend!) The selection of organic items is much smaller than Sparta & BRF (though Tomah has started carrying organic milk, grassfed ground beef, and more frozen organic fruits and veggies, so I hope they keep it going and offer organic cheese, eggs, etc.). Also their bakery selection is much smaller than Sparta. (No cornbread, chocolate croissants, and several other items.) Not a bad store by any means, but they need to offer grocery pickup and expand their offerings to be competitive. read more

10/10 would recommend. Best possible place to get American eagle brand underwear that looks absolutely I D E N T I C A L to Bobbie's. But I would NEVER steal Bobbie's underwear because the little betch had MRSA around 19-23 times. read more

The only time I have a problem with Walmart is when the aisles are a mess. Or the employees are not in the mood for helping you. I had no such problems at this Walmart. This is actually a very nice store. The store is exceptionally clean. The employees are friendly and of course Walmart has everything you'll ever need. (INCLUDING LIQUOR!!!!) They sell booze at this Walmart! I have nothing bad to say about this Walmart. I will be back. (When I'm in town again.) read more

This is the friendliest Walmart, maybe even the friendliest store I have ever been to. I was driving through on a road trip, and was really hungry and thirsty, and a little sleepy. Gas station food products always seem more expensive, you get less selection, and everything is small, so I wanted to go to a regular store. I saw the humongous Walmart sign from the highway, and said, "why not"? I pulled into the parking lot, and at first everything seemed normal. Once I walked in, I thought I had been transported to Pleasantville! There was an actual greeter at the door, who actually greeted me! I've been to at least 30 different Walmarts in my life, and I've never actually had a greeter greet me. Every Walmart employee seemed to stop what they were doing, turn towards me, and greet me. I couldn't believe it. Usually at Walmart, I'm lucky if I can even find an employee who looks like they want to help. I bought two boxes of kosher Chips Ahoy cookies, one root beer float flavor, and one with Peanut Butter Flavor, and a extra large kosher Red Bull. Usually I eat healthier, but on road trips I let myself eat whatever I get a craving for. On the way out, the check out lady actually smiled at me, greeted me, asked how I was, and seemed to actually care about how I responded! It was like I was in another world. (I used to work in a service job, so I always make sure to greet any cashier or bagger with a smile, and to tip well if required. Usually I'm lucky if they even respond. Whatever.) Walking out the door, I noticed a missing children poster and stopped to look at it. The greeter came up me and started a conversation about how she always tells her children to be careful, and so on. They say people are really friendlier in small towns, and it's really true! Came in, no cars in front of us. Got our oil change done quick and then just start working on other cars and standing around before even touching our car to change the tire it was an hour before the tire was finished. I don't understand how I can be the only one here but everyone else got finished even other tire changes? read more

Walmart management has been alienating customers by asking to see their receipt and scanning items in the cart when leaving the store. I believe they are being biast on appearance. I myself was stopped today because I didnt use a bag for my two items. I clearly had my receipt visible in my hand and she still felt the need to pester me on my way out. This Walmart was amazingly clean! The aisles were really clean and organized. I saw several people cleaning with smiles on their faces. That's very hard to find people that are willing to do things like that with a happy heart. They have do a great job in hiring people. read more

I took a battery in for warrenty the guy at the automotive counter said that marine batteries only have a 6 month warrenty so I took the battery and went home. I told my son-inlaw who bought the battery for me, He said he has had this same problem at the Tomah store they are to lazy to do the paper work. He said I need to go back and try to talk to some one from management, I feel my time is more is better spent doing any thing rather than beg for help. read more

No sidewalks yet to the store. Aisles often are filled with carts of stuff to be put on the shelves..conversely at times things are completely out! Grr! Never ever enough checkers at the register for the number of people in line, especially during special events or holi[day...but an everyday thing all the same. Workers are generally pretty helpful and friendly though. read more

This Walmart's pharmacy is a joke. I called ahead of time to find out if my Rx's were ready and was told YES. I go to pick them up, and after being in line for 20 mins, I am told to " go shop around, because Rx won't be ready for 30 mins ".... really!? Is this Walmart's ploy to get people to go walk their store and buy sh*t they don't need?!?! I had my doc switch all of my prescriptions to mail delivery. If she hadn't done that, I would have tried Medicine Shoppe, or even Walgreens in Onalaska! Anywhere to avoid Walmart's pharmacy! read more
