The cashier I got was clearly not trained on how to fill bags. He put the gallon of milk in first and I said no. He handed it to me and than proceeded to fill the bag to the top with all my groceries except the bread products because they wouldn't fit. I had three large, cloth bags. He put everything in two of them. I could barely lift the bag. I stayed right there and transferred half of the contents into the empty bag. I hope he got the picture. read more

A really nice and well stocked Walmart mega store. We came here last night to grab a late night snack. We ended up getting a cold sandwich, some veggies to snack on, and a candy bar. Overall the store looked great. The store looked organize and tidy, and the shelves looked super well stocked. It's definitely one of the best Walmart mega stores that I've ever been to. actually any Walmart here in Michigan is much better than the Walmart stores that we have in the San Francisco Bay area. read more

Nice store and very clean! Personally, I find rural Walmart stores to be much better than Walmart's in more urban areas. I will dock 1 star for having really janky can crusher machines. Since Michigan doesn't recycle, you have to take cans and bottles to a store with a crusher machine and you get your 10 cents deposit back on each can or bottle. When 3 of the 4 machines don't work, it's a very annoying, flawed system. And how many of us are realistically going to travel all over creation looking for a machine that will accept every item? read more

I'd like to thank the Walmart cashier who checked me out for packing my bag so full they all ripped through in my driveway walking up to the porch, which is all ice. I just wanna know why your first instinct when your customer is obviously pregnant is to pack their bags heavy. I'm so sick of Walmarts nonsense idc about what's cheaper anymore. I work nearby so I have on occasion stopped at the Whitehall Walmart. The other night I got to the door at 10:54 pm, and a man was locking the door. I caught his attention but he refused to let me in. I had one item to pickup. I have been there before shortly before 11:00 pm but never had them be quite so eager to close their doors. read more

Being a brand new store, clean and well stocked is a given. Friendly associates is a given. Knowing that this is a smaller store than usual Supercenters, I was still surprised at assortment and selection in the grocery area. Only an 8 ft run of boxed mixes in the baking aisle but a 4 ft run of one brand of spice varieties? (And this brand not being McCormack or Great Value but an obscure Hispanic/Mexican brand?). I was also looking for more choices in the beer/wine aisle - there are mixers but no liquor? So I can get a margarita mix but no tequila? If you need to stop for a few basics on your way home from work or the beach, this is a good place to stop. But if you need to do your weekly grocery shopping, I would drive the extra 5 miles and go to Meijer. read more

Absolutely the worst shopping experience of my life. Born and raised in Ludington Michigan and I can assure you that I won't be stepping foot in this store again. One Star is one too many for this review. During checkout my 34 year old wife and I were attempting to buy beer, she was the one in charge of the entire transaction, loading paying....everything! So when asked for an ID she gladly gave hers, but we were unable to purchase our beer because I didn't have mine available. I'll be sure not to shop for beer with my 18 year old daughter as I most likely wouldn't be able to buy beer then because she isn't old enough. Happy power trip to Walmart's finest! read more

The store has good prices and selection. It isn't the best organized, and I feel they either skimp on employees or the workers are unmotivated, because most of them clearly do not enjoy their jobs much. I can generally find what I need in the grocery section, though, and it doesn't break the bank. The big parking lot is a bonus. read more

Ok. Prices so so. Went down some things since opening and like the app that gives you the difference is it finds prices cheaper. Go in the morning before 9 am. Go later and you'll see what I mean.
