Excellent shopping experience. If you are passing through Wichita Falls, it is only a few miles off the highway and a great way to take a break.

My family & I are from out of state. After a hectic day, we made a last minute trip to Target to pick up some essentials we needed. We were moving as fast as possible but got stuck when it came to searching for a sunblock (we only purchase sunblocks that are not harmful to the coral reefs) so it took an extra second. I turned to tell my boyfriend that one of the employees was eyeing us and that we really needed to hurry (in an attempt to be as considerate as possible) and the woman immediately began badmouthing us on her walkie-talkie RIGHT IN FRONT OF US. As if this wasn't bad enough, at checkout my sister-in-law swiped her target discount card for me just as a kindness, and when my payment wouldn't process, one of the employees stepped in and YELLED at me about how "using that discount doesn't work without a target red card" and rolled her eyes at us. I mean, geez... I'm sorry that I wasn't aware. I'm sorry that your day was so terrible you couldn't take 2 seconds to ask us if we needed help rather than immediately choose to be nasty. I would say do better, but honestly - learn how to be human. Being petty & mean is uncalled for. You never know what people could be going through. I would also like to say that by the time we got to the car, it was 11:06..... They closed at 11. If a 6 minute delay is enough to make you treat people maliciously, you need some real soul-searching. I hope you learn to treat people with respect.

If it is replaced with faux wooden flooring it would give the appearance and quality a modern look and not look as old in the mens department.

When I first walked in I realized I was wearing a patriotic t-shirt I had bought at a Walmart in Arizona so naturally I wouldn't have the receipt with me. I stopped the first young man with a Walmart shirt on that I encountered and asked him if he would vouch for me that I walked in wearing it and didn't put it on on the store and try to walk out with it. He said, "I don't really care one way or the other." Then he told me they were plenty of cameras so I figured I'd have a record of the fact that I walked in wearing it and stopped worrying but it wasn't a very polite answer. The girl at the cash register just kept staring at me while I was paying. She did say thank you when I was done but was almost glaring at me. You think after they read all the reviews about unpleasant encounters with employees they would try to do a better job of training them to be cheerful. Who wants to go back to the store or you aren't treated like a valued customer? I think this is billed as a super Walmart but I've been in many super Walmarts and I wouldn't think this qualified, too small, not enough variety of merchandise to qualify as a super Walmart.

Firstly they removed the tortillas from the taco kit, eventually replacing the kit with a "bowl" with most of the same ingredients, but seemingly less chicken and no tortillas. A very problematic change they've made to seemingly ALL of their ReadyMeals is removing cooking/heating instructions. Not only does that seem like a hazard, but it certainly makes it quite the challenge when trying to cook a pizza in the oven. Does it need 350 or 400°? Does it need 8, 10, 15, 20, or 25 minutes to properly cook? These factors vary by each type of pizza. Is the fraction of a cent saved on printer ink on the label worth the customer dissatisfaction? I would think not. 2. They removed all the wall art of the history of Wichita Falls, which had previously made the store feel more "local" and less "uninspired corporate cookie cutter location." 3. They moved the Dublin sodas (a local to Texas brand) to 4 different places around the store and have slowly been phasing them out. Of course, starting with our favorite 1891 Founder's Recipe Cola, followed by our second favorite the Cherry Limeade. We used to buy 6-12 bottles every 1-2 weeks. Normally I could see this being an issue with a lack of demand, but they were constantly sold out of those 2 flavors. I don't expect the 2nd change to be addressed, but it would be nice if the 1st and 3rd would be addressed. Regardless, staff is always friendly and helpful.

I honestly do not get why so many people like to dump on Walmart yet I often see them later shopping at one of our three Super Walmart locations. We have found their selection to be among the best and their prices definitely among the best and often better than the prices at Sam's Club next door where we get to pay over $100/year for the privilege of shopping there. We hear complaints of bad service. Really? We have shopping for many years and have never had bad service and usually great service. Now I will agree to get somebody to show up at the Sporting Goods department can be a long process. Our only MINOR complaint is that they moved so much stuff around the store so that we do not know where everything is like we used to but I guess we buy more stuff that way. Finally, no store is perfect and will always have what you want but, overall, we like our Walmart locations. Our favorite is the Lawrence Street, then the one by Sheppard AFB, and in third place is the one off of Southwest Parkway. It will be interesting what effect the new Winco will have on the Walmart locations especially the Lawrence Street one. read more

It is a madhouse! everyone that goes there seem to be in such a hurry that they will run over you. everyone seems stressed out. i am stressed out when i am there. the store does carry things that i can't do without, but the environment is dangerous. watch out for the crowd that is in a mad dash to get out of there and will run over you to do it! i hate going there, i love target, but it is all the way across town. BUT IT IS WORTH THE DRIVE! at least at target you know you won't be killed by rushing angry people in a hurry to get the **** out of walmart !!! read more

The checkers when you are in line, are some of the nicest people I have ever done business with. But don't go to the pharmacy, there are like cats ready to pounce on their pray. I use to go there because they had the lowest price, now I wouldn't go there If it was free. It's there attitude. really crappy,I would rather pay more elsewhere than have to deal with those people.. read more

The store was clean and laid out like every other kohl's but I really appreciated these ladies going the extra mile. For customer service alone, they rock!
