The auto center was great. Traveling we lost a tire the older lady with the cat ears (didn't get her name) called several places to see if they had the tire. This is the one, my friends! This is the Supercenter that made national news with the lady cruising around the parking lot in one of the electric shopping carts drinking wine from a Pringle's can. I never thought of taking a cart for a joyride on the premises and I certainly never poured a bottle of bubbly in a chip container. That tells me this store is the trifecta of shopping enjoyment. Yes, it's Walmart, but this one warrants a review. Why is it that certain Walmart employees see a customer walking down an isle and disappear at first potential eye contact as if a ghost just scared the ba'jebus out of them? I'm not a Walmart regular for a reason but in some towns and situations it is unavoidable. On this particular visit I needed lemon juice and this is the closest place by about 10 miles to my grandmother's house. Anyway... the stockers were consuming the isles more so than customers. I found the lemon juice but it was still in a box on the top shelf. So I started walking towards a stocker and he made a glance in my direction and literally turned and walked the other fast... really?? *sigh* so I walk to the next isle and catch one by surprise. Ah ha! Gotcha. This guy didn't try to run, but I believe he say enough "intent" in my eyes to realize he wasn't going to get away easy. As I was leaving the isle the manager walked by and made a comment to the guy helping me. ' Manager: Why are you on this isle you need to unpack your boxes. They won't stock themselves on the shelf." Stocker: "I'm helping a customer and will be there in a second."The Manager Manager: "Stop using that excuse all the time and do your job" WOW is all I could think and briefly I wished that there was a "People who work at Walmart" site where I could upload a video of this exchange instead of uploading pictures of those who shop there. So wonderful and unprofessional all at the same time. But hey... I captured a victim to unbox lemon juice for me even if it did cause his a brief chastising from his boss. read more

Few grocery options in WF :/ although the produce here looks better than I expected. After speaking with the cab driver, I think there are many places here that are not listed on yelp. I'll do my best to remedy this ailment in WIchita Falls. This Wally-mart had a terrible beer selection! What is to be said that has not already been said? It's a Wal-Mart. :-) They always have a good selection of needed items and fully stocked on both the Grocery side and the other side of the store. This one as well as the others in town are always a mess in the parking lot. To much traffic, to much litter, and a million shopping carts dinging car doors. This one is generally clean inside at all times. The midnight crew does get the aisles a bit jammed at night with pallets but, that is to be expected if we are to enjoy the convenience of late night shopping. Thank you Wal-Mart for 24-hour shopping hours!! The restrooms here always seem spotless, and a mere mention to a manager when not, gets a cleaner dispatched on the walkie-talkies almost immediately. I do like how nowadays they offer the self checkout area. I prefer that whenever I can over waiting in the long lines for lack of open cash registers. Seriously, I don't care what time of day or night it is. If any register line gets more than three full carts deep, open another line!! The eternal complaint of all customers. ;-) read more

Store was very untidy and gave sense that it needed a good mopping. Found a few great buys in the women's clothing. Just bought last week in Houston some Great Value fudge striped cookies for 98 cents but went here to find the same cookies selling for $1.48, which totally frustrated me as this location is close to am Air Force base, why would we jack the prices up on our servicemen. I honestly don't really like WalMart to begin with, but while visiting Wichita Falls, I have been to this location a few times. One of these times will stick out in my memory forever.. The door greater (an older caucasian woman) came up to me and my 3 year old son as we entered the store and this is what she said: Employee- "Did you see that?!" Me- "What?" Employee- "That large black man. That was that (white) lady's husband!" Me- Silence.. Employee- "What is this world coming to??" Now, I'm not from the south- and maybe that's normal down here. But where I'm from this is NOT OKAY. I could not believe that an employee of the store would be so racist, and talk to a customer about it! I was extremely offended and will not be returning to this store. I'd rather drive the extra 15 minutes to the next store. Also, each time I've been here, there have been workers with restocking carts hogging up all the aisle room and not moving out of the way so I could pass with my cart. I don't understand what their customer service strategy is here, but it's not working for me! read more

Seriously... gas pumps aren't 24 hours? The worker is standing around stocking things and could've told us before we tried 2 pumps. What gas station isn't 24 hours? I read the reviews on here, and don't know where these people are getting their information! I shop here all the time. It is actually a really nice Walmart. The grocery section is great! I have never had a problem finding what I need. The place is clean and smells good. I don't see any problem with the store. It is really close to the base, which is nice because there is not much on this side of town for some reason! read more

Went to the pharmacy today @ 5 pm to pick up a RX which was called in by the DR. While there, I observed a pharmacy tech WIPING HER NOSE WITH HER HAND AND CONTINUE TO HELP CUSTOMERS. There was no Kleenex in the area, no germ sanitizer anywhere, no Lysol wipes or Lysol disinfect being used by anyone. The pharmacy manager was on duty as was another pharmacist and numerous pharmacy techs. The manager was chewing gum with her mouth open, and the several techs were touching noses, hair, etc. Not all of them but enough to make me cringe. I spoke with an assistant store manager about the situation and informed her that she needed to review this with the store manager, pharmacy manager and all pharmacy staff. read more

This Walmart is the closest one to my house, and so it is where I usually drop by to pick up that one thing I need before heading home. There are numerous things to complain about, but I think the biggest problem I have is that there are always cases of merchandise in the aisles, and the shelves are usually bare. I understand that they go through merch fast, but other stores manage to stay stocked. read more

It's walmart, what more can I say. I try to avoid it but sometimes you just have to. I won't use their tire/live service anymore after two bad experiences In a row. I'd had a tire blow down the road and pulled in at 5:30. 7pm rolls around and they tell me they close at 7 and they wont be able to service my vehicle. I guess rules are rules when you work for a corperation but if i had been made aware there was any posibility they wouldnt get to me, i would have gone elsewhere before every tire shop in town closed for the day! Next time, another tire issue on another car. I put the spare on and threw the old one in the trunk. I pulled up and asked the tire to be changed, the spare put back in the trunk and the old one thrown out. Well i wait an hour until theyre done and find put the idiot put my old tire back on my car. What did he think that would accomplish???!!! Just be aware, since this is the closest one to east side, it typically has the most ghetto customers at any given moment compared to the other Wal-Mart's in town. Lots of pants falling down, children running around unsupervised or throwing hiss fits with their parents just yelling back at them, people just generally being loud and rude. I'm not sure why every Wal-Mart has to have a different layout, either. I went to the Lawrence road location for so long before I moved out of town and I have such a hard time finding what I need here. When I do find an employee, it turns out to be someone who wants to babble on to me about something that is an obvious indicator of low intelligence. I went into store 420 on Lawrence Road and bought strips for my blood glucose machine. When I got home I noticed that the brand that I purchased was the wrong ones. I did not open the package, the seal was exactly like it was when I purchased the strips. I took the strips back to Walmart with the receipt to get a refund because they didn't have the strips needed for my glucose meter and was informed by Lori that I wasn't able to return any products bought in the pharmacy department and that I would have to come back the next morning to see if the pharmacy staff would refund the strips,? Really, are you serious lady? I have my receipt, the item purchased has not been opened and the return sign in Walmart doesn't mention that products bought in the pharmacy could only be returned in the pharmacy. I asked her for her last name and badge number because I was going to call corporate the next morning. Her response was"I am not telling you my name or badge #. So I asked for the number to corporate, keep in mind she is the assistant manager of the store, her response was" 1-800 Walmart I guess". I called another Walmart store and spoke with a assistant manager and told her the encounter I had at store 420 and was told that there was no such rule and that the product should have been refunded. So I called Lori back and told her that she had misinformed me and she told me that she wasn't aware of the rules so that is why she wanted me to call the pharmacy the next day. I informed her that the employee at the other store had offered for me to bring the product to their store and get a refund. I told Lori that it didn't make sense for me to drive to another store to get a refund. She agreed at this point to refund my money, however, she reported that when she attempted to overide the purchase to give me my refund that the cash register would not allow here to do so, therefore informing me to bring the strips back tomorrow. To the management of store 420 and corporate team of Walmart the service rendered from this employee that you have as an assistant manager is below standards, the customer service was poor and returning this item should not have been difficult.
