A couple days ago I was at customer services, and I had paid an AES bill. So I asked the customer service rep could she please look up my previous bill. She proceeded to ring up the bill that I was paying. So I paid for my AES. She handed me my bill. I kept standing there waiting for her to tell my about my previous bill. She looked at my with a lie on her face, and told me that they no longer at that so on their computer. The next day I went to customer service, and there was a different person there. She looked up my bill for me, and because it took a while for the computer to load. She found me walking out the store, and proceeded to tell me about my bill. They messed up BOTH of my tire appointments. First time, they sent the wrong tires. Allister took over an hour locating the wrong tires, and still tried to give me the wrong ones despite being 2 inches too wide for my car. I admire his complete lack of pride in his job. The second appt was canclled becasue they didnt even bother sending the truck because it wasnt full. your manager Brad, fresh off of his 5 hour lunch(according to your mechanic) said "Walmart doesnt care about it's customers" when I displayed my displeasure about your truck policy. Today I went to the Xenia, OH Walmart, in search of some items I needed. I went through, collected all my items, browsed a little, and then as I reached the checkouts, I assessed the situation. I had about $100 worth of items, and I could go through a normal line, or a self checkout. I chose self checkout because it wasn't very busy. I have real bad social anxiety, I prefer to avoid the chit-chat and stuff I'm really not good at, so if self checkout is available and there's not a lot of people there, I opt for that. I go up to the lane, and I put my cart aside the checkout. There's two attendants, and they're watching the checkouts, doing their jobs, no biggie. I start scanning, and that's when a man, presumably a manager, comes up to the attendants and then tells them, in a very loud voice, that last time I was in the store I stole $50 worth of stuff and they have to watch me, and made one of them stand right behind me and watch me. That's when people started staring at me and watching me. Like normal customers. I was absolutely mortified. I have never stolen from this store, and I would like to see video evidence of "me" stealing, because I can promise you, it wasn't me. They loudly shamed me, and made me a target of public ridicule, for something I didn't even do. I called their store and I got the runaround about how they were going to send my call to a manager about it, and they never did after about 10 minutes. So I called corporate, who claims they are going to do something about this. My purchase was at 4:59 PM today, August 9th, 2024, at the self checkouts near the pharmacy entrance. If anything has ever left the store in my possession that I didn't pay for, it's because one of their employees didn't scan it (and I didn't notice). Any time I go through self checkout, I scan EVERY thing. I have literally walked back into this exact store with a case of water because they didn't charge me for it. I don't know who they thought I was, but I am absolutely not a thief and publicly humiliating a person for theft isn't the right way to deal with it, even if I were stealing. read more

When in Xenia, I make it a point to stop in here at Wal-Mart. You NEVER know what your gonna find or see http://www.peopleofwalmart.com/. This place is huge. Unlike the Wal-Mart's I'm use to, this one has a produce section. They also have stores and shops within the store (like a nail salon). I found an official MLB Cincinnati Red jersey for my son that cost. Are you ready for this? $19 bucks. I dare you to top that here in the bay area. This store is a really cool place to shop for the out of the ordinary items and a really cool place to see the "out of the ordinary" people too. read more

I HATE this Walmart. I am not often in Xenia and thank goodness this is not the Walmart near me. My boyfriend and I went to pick up an item we ordered online that was only available at this location. As soon as we walked in the first thing that came to my mind was "Wow this place is dirty". I'm not just talking about clutter, but trust me there is plenty of that, I mean actual trash laying around all over the place. Yuck! We went back to the back of the store where online order pickup is located. The sales associate that helped us seemed to have her eyes fixed in a permanent eye-roll position. It was clear that she was irritated at having to help us. There was one cashier working. ONE!!! This is 3 weeks before Christmas in the early evening. ONE FREAKING CASHIER. Plus a slew of other employees walking around doing their best to avoid making eye contact. It was horrible. I hope to never return. read more

This is the Walmart 30. It could be any Walmart in America. There you are, not many in the store, you got your stuff and you want to go. It is late, you are tired. Self service checker lanes are closed. While they have 30 lane available there is only one that is open for you and the other 15 customers in the store are all in line ahead of you. No hurry up and wait here, just wait. Sleeping while standing is a helpful skill. Worthy of your hate, consistently consistent, nothing changes and hope for improvement is always dashed with each new experience. I bought a computer keyboard got home and it didn't work, so I headed back to the store to get another one. Sounds simple enough ,,,,But no! It was around 8 pm on a wed.evening when I returned to the store and went to the service desk for help. The young lady at the service desk said it was closed! I asked for a manager to see why so early when the store is open till 11pm? With an eyeroll and a laugh she said she was the manager and she shoud have closed it at 3pm because she has too much to do! read more

I would give no stars if that were possible. For the second time in 3 months my delivery order never arrived. The first time I received my money back after a few lengthy conversations with the "customer care" employees. This time after 3 weeks since the cancellation I still haven't received my money back. After conversation #5 I was told that it will take over 15 business days to process. An e-mail from Doris in the customer care sector stated that it takes 7-10 business days. Apparently they feel they don't need to adhere to written policy and can choose when or if you get your money back. They need to get a healthier dose of reality and I am seriously considering getting with other people I know who have also been wronged by these megalomaniac and filing a class action suit. First time using grocery pickup and it was amazingly easy at no additional cost to the shopper! Erika filled my order. She substituted 2 items for items that where better than originally ordered and was so nice. You order online, go to the pickup location, tell them what space you are parked in and they load your trunk for you!!! I just wish Walmart would let them accept tips...they deserve it!! read more

I spent nearly $600 on a laptop at this location and the children/employees working in the department couldn't answer one question. I remained polite and excused their ignorance of the product but the girl cashier didn't thank me and was actually rude throughout the transaction. I deserve better than that no matter how much money I spend and so do you. Avoid this lousy Walmart! read more

You can find anything from a good price on an item to a view worthy of PeopleOfWalmart.com The produce isn't great, but it's average for the chain. This Store has a subway inside, so you won't starve if you get lost and can't find the exit. read more

The grocery pic up service at this store sucks. They have a rude nasty witch in there named Danielle who is a real piece of work. They are always missing at least 10 items. I hate this store, it is the worst WalMart i have ever been in. They think they are so smart but not really. Plus you check in online but they never have your stuff ready and tell you their computer says you are not supposed to be there for x amount of time. read more

We go to this Walmart because they do free grocery pick up and we've had a great experience every time. They bring the groceries out right on time, we've never had to wait more than five minutes, and they always get our order right. read more

The produce in the food section is sub-par in appearance/quality and overpriced, the beef in the meat section looks old and unappetising, and again way overpriced. I love my Xenia WalMart!! There is something to be said for shopping at a place that makes you feel like family!! From the Pharmacy to the greeters and everyone in between, they are all super friendly. I have to shop with a motorized shopping cart and some of the greeters (like Carroll) have gotten to know that I use one and will have it pulled out and ready to go if they seem me coming in.........XENIA WALMART ROCKS!!!!!!!!! read more

Just waited for over half an hour to get entered into the system for an oil change. Three employees couldn't figure out a tire issue some folks in front of me were having. I was just going to leave my truck but could not get into the que after over thirty minutes. At some point wouldn't one of the employees broke away to help the line of people building behind ??? I finally walked out. I will never go back as the last time I paid for the oil change with the vacuuming and multipoint inspection. I paid extra for that and the car wasn't vacuumed so I am sure no inspection was done. They are not getting a chance at a third strike. Please stay away from this awful customer service experience. read more

The only time I enter this seventh circle of hell is if I order something from their website and go to pick it up and even that sucks. The pick up counter is in the very back of the store. If you ever have a problem with an item be prepared to wait in the customer service line. I've waited over an hour before. The store is horribly understaffed and they are always running out of stuff even basic stuff like half & half. Every employee looks like they hate everything about their job and managers are next to impossible to find. I hate shopping here. read more

Not a bad Walmart. It was a super center one, so they had more to offer. They have subway, a bank and a beauty salon. One thing I think they can do better is navigation. Because the store is so big it takes longer to find certain things and more signs would help. read more

Went over to buy some wipers and asked if they could install them for me and the guy said it would be a 1 1/2 wait.. I said just to put wipers on and he said yep... They were busy, but there was also 2-3 guys that were behind the counter just standing around doing nothing. The guy that told me how long it was going to take was also a manager back there... So I went to Advance Auto Parts and they installed them for me in less than 10 minutes.. So thanks for nothing Walmart. read more

I agree with Rob E's comments about Walmart's sub-par produce and meat departments. I, too, prefer to do my grocery shopping at Krogers...better service, better quality. Another complaint I have about the "new and improved" Walmart is that the old Walmart had an average of 4-5 cashiers working any time I went in...and the new one has about 3...the lines have gotten longer than they ever used to be and 28 checkouts is a ridiculous waste of space since they never use more than 3-4 at any given time. Being a "super" Walmart, I expected to see more goods on the shelves...maybe more variety...but no such luck. The new store has less than the old store had in most areas. The only thing super about the new Walmart is the disappointment in shopping there. read more

The funny thing is that this WallyWorld is 2 to 3 stars above the one on Wilmington Pike in Centerville/Bellbrook. Most of these Wally stores have poor checkouts, but the Centerville/Bellbrook makes the Xenia one feel like a high end store! read more
