You can enter from the parking lot facing Maple Ave. or you can venture through the mall to the internal entrance... whichever floats your boat. The space is roughly the same size as the older location and it has everything any true maxxinista wants when visiting the store. It's also pretty clean and the staff was nice and friendly in every department. I especially loved the new carts. I absolutely hate walking through stores like this with a crappy cart. During this trip I found a beautiful pot in the home and garden section as well as a lovely tie die summer dress. I'll need to hem the dress but I couldn't pass it up for twenty bucks. Both items were reasonably priced, winning! This TJ Maxx has a great selection of designer handbags, perfume and hair and body products, shoes, clothing (women, men, and children), luggage, kitchenware, stuff for your bathroom, etc. I would certainly recommend you visit this store. I love that they are doing that, but as a former HomeCare Nurse manager and QA manager, this much needed step, especially for our aging population, is just a step. As my nurses saw too often, especially if a patient had been hospitalized followed by a rehab or NH stay, and maybe was still stressed from health changes and with the normal cognitive declines as we age, like executive function, it takes more than a phone call to insure best outcomes concerning meds and health management. Pill planners need to be assessed for changes made after a hospital stay. Discontinued meds removed? Changes in dose or frequency made. All new meds obtained and placed in the planner. Is the person able to carry out taking their meds as ordered? Do they need reminder help? Any patient with complex health issues needs a Home Care RN in their home within 24-48 hrs. after discharge to help them stay out of the hospital!
