I came here to get my nephews medication at the pharmacy they said it'd be ready in 20min, came back and they had me wait more 6:15 now and they tell me they don't have the right medications for my nephew to wait till Monday and today is Saturday. What the hell!? How could they not know they don't have?! The lady still checks the computer to see if the medication is ready, they make the medication literally right behind her! I used to shop at this Walmart 2 or 3 times a month for basic food, pet care, and household items. I've noticed they tend to be slow in re-stocking items, but the final straw for me to stop shopping at the Tulare Walmart is their inept cashiers, who have repeatedly neglected to ensure that I have all of my merchandise bags before leaving the store. This has happened at least five times in the past several months, despite me telling two assistant managers about this & being assured they would teach all of their cashiers to follow correct procedures (the cashier is supposed to count the bags and rotate the carousel to ensure all filled bags have been given to the customer). Today I asked the cashier if all of my bags had given to me, was told 'yes', and still ended up having to go back to the store to retrieve one bag she did not give me. The hassle of doing this -- calling and being told "yeah that happens," then having to spend 30 minutes of my time, drive out 6 miles worth of gas to go back, wait in line for 10 minutes at the layaway desk to get the bag - only to be told the cashier had never bothered to take it there, walk across the store to the garden center register to get it, no apologies from the staff, no compensation for my time & aggravation --- makes it clear that there's no reason to keep shopping at a store that is so incredibly inept at customer service. Update on 5/2/16: The last incident I encountered at this Walmart was on 4/2/16. On that day, I spoke with two Walmart employees by phone & requested to have the store manager call me, so that I could share with him the details of my experience & my valid complaints, along with suggestions for how customer service could be improved. They both said they'd deliver the message to him, but a month later I still have not received a call from the store manager. read more

Passing by while heading up to Fresno. My car is in need of a long overdue oil change. Stopped at the auto care center and received excellent service. Got my air filter replaced and also had them restore my headlights. I did not have a chance to walk around the store. But I will definitely recommend their auto care center! read more

WISH I CAN PUT ZERO STARS Worse store in the world rather spend a couple extra bucks and go to target if paying in self checkout u can feel the workers breathing down ur spine and don't get me started with the ppl at the door !!stopped going because everytime I went to buy my kids diapers I was always stoped and checked like I was stealing something I'm sure it's their job but to have someone count the items on ur cart is a little to much and checking if I paid for my sons lollipop so FUCK YOU WALMART and ur workers suck looks like they're forced to work there read more

After reading all the negative reviews here on yelp I will admit that this Wal-Mart is bad and ghetto but we know Wal-Mart isn't target or upscale it's a shopping place for the ghetto people so if you risk going to any Wal-Mart you should know what to expect. I usually will only run in and grab what I came for and run out but if I need to shop with more time I go to target although target still has over flow of the ghetto people from Wal-Mart who get they're EBT on the first week of the month but I try to avoid both Wal-Mart and target in the first two weeks of the month to avoid the EBT crowds read more

The woman at the sporting goods section was very friendly and made my purchase of a fishing license joyful. As far as Walmarts go, this is a nice store in my opinion. No complaints. read more

The person working the register in customer service was rude and didn't even try to help solve the problem. I ordered a car seat online and I specifically ordered a certain one. When I got there they had the wrong color and not the one i wanted and I tried to exchange it but she said they didn't have anything to do with online ordering and i couldn't exchange it. I get that part, but she could of at least checked to see if they had any in the store instead of saying there was nothing she can do. I also drove all the way from Visalia to pick up the supposedly "correct one" I ordered. From what another worker told me, they took off the wrong one off the loading truck. She called a manager and the manager was also rude and unprofessional. I'm a manager myself and we are trained to take any steps possible to make sure the customer is happy. September 21st 7:00 am I bought a new front driver side tire, service I received was good and I was sent on my way. Took my vehicle for service close to my job and I was told not to try and get on the freeway due to the steel radial showing on the front right tire, I can't believe nothing was mentioned to me in Tulare in the morning before driving to Fresno to go to work. Had I known I needed to replace both front tires I would have taken care of it then and there. 5:00 pm now and the tire department manager tells me to drive to the nearest Walmart to buy another tire knowing there is steel radial showing, and knowing I was parked in front of a Les Shwab. So now I have 2 different brands of tires on my car cause of course I'm not willing to risk getting a blowout and injure myself much less anyone else. Irratated cause they would not work with me and allow me to return the tire so I could buy 2 new same brand tires . I'm done with Walmart being that they failed to warn me that my other tire was in desperate need of being replaced. read more
