So this time I gave them another chance. It took 3 weeks to get my glasses back. I walk in stood there for a while to be noticed. I gave my name and I ask was my sunglasses in. No answer. I ask again no answer. I ask for a 3rd time and the woman snaps back at me for asking. When I ask a question I expect an answer. She spoke to me as if I'm a kindergarten. That broke me from ever going to Stanton Optical again. No courteous they are not polite. Made me feel like I inconvenienced them. Next time I will take my money elsewhere. Im giving them a star just so I can write this rant otherwise I wouldn't give them a star.

AMARILLO, TX LOCATION! WORST experience I've had in 60 years of wearing glasses! FIRST, they…read moreadvertise buy one get one free! SAME DAY, service, that's a joke. I had regular pair made and sunglasses made, the regular pair to be ready in 2 hours for pick up, sunglasses had to be sent off to lab and was promised by no later than Saturday, that didn't happen, didn't get them til Monday. The Regular glasses was to strong but was advised to wear them a couple weeks.. when got sunglasses from lab I could see far off but not bi-focal. I returned both glasses, the girl said oh, they weren't fitted right, (their mistake) I needed to see eye doctor again (there doctor) had to return for an appt and was told then prescription was different even tho they checked my eyes initially for this prescription! They then said didn't have my lenses so would have to send to lab and it will be another week. I was told however my sunglasses could be fixed on site and I could pick them up on Monday! Lie, they also were sent to the lab and wouldn't be in until end of week! Received both pair of glasses and trying to adjust to them and new prescription, and broke earpiece on $175 frame for which I am told I could pick out another frame at my cost because it could not be repaired ! I'm furious, I paid more for these glasses than I have ever paid in wearing glasses for 60 years to the tune of nearly $700 and have had nothing but trouble since day one! I'm still not convinced the prescription is correct for which I will be seeing another doctor to confirm.

Sure they've got neat stuff, I guess, but I'm trying to figure out why I should rate them any higher than the Sam's Club in town. They both have the same concept, just with different names on their stuff. There are things you can find here that you can't at the other one, and vice versa. Sam's has the best tortilla chips, Costco has those delectable coconut rolls. Sam's has better canned chicken (weird flex, I know), Costco has a better chilled room for their fruit. And they both suck at the keeping cracker cut cheese from going bad before the date on the package. There's the regular old concession stand past the checkouts where you'll wait in a long line for a long time. There's the telecomm salespeople waiting to harass you as you come in the door. And as with all wholesalers, I just can't stand the sheer volume of stuff they sell. I think it all just leads to greater waste.

(I chuckle real hard when I hear those Texas accents complain that "dang, it's pretty busy today.") Parking is easy. I always snag a spot relatively close to the entrance and a return cart receptical. People are rude everywhere you go, but here most of the customers still have their manners and make eye contact with you. Love that too. The gas station has the shortest lines of any Costco Gas Station I've ever seen. Did I mention their prices are the cheapest too? Most things I have found to be in stock. I don't come here for groceries, though, because I live 105 miles away. That'll change once I have a vehicle large enough for a large ice chest. That being said, they have employees who do not know where certain items are because "they don't work in that department." Twice this has happened. And I think to myself, "Okay, so whip out that walkie talkie and find out because obviously I came to you as a last resort." I noticed a big change from November 2022 to December 2022. In November they still had the plexiglass barrier at the checkout stands. In December, those suckers were removed. Not even sure why they had 'em because I always have to have folks repeat themselves. They don't seem to protect you much from illnesses (that you shouldn't be shopping with anyway) any better than those cloth face masks. So, thanks, Costco Lubbock. See ya' next road trip.

No hablaba mucho y me sentí apurada…read more Hacía todo muy rápido; era un buen técnico, pero me dijo que no podía hablar mucho conmigo porque estaba casada, lo cual está bien, pero sí podría haber entablado una conversación. Al día siguiente atendió a mi esposo y comentó que Adrian era muy hablador y amable. Le hizo bien el examen a mi esposo, pero se equivocó con mi receta. Volví a verlo para una revisión de mis lentes de contacto. Me revisó los ojos en 45 segundos. El Dr. Moss, que me atendió, dijo que Adrian es un buen técnico, pero que si estás casada, eso se nota en el historial clínico y te va a atender con prisa. Es su forma de ser, pero con otras personas es amable. Es muy rápido: terminó el examen de mi esposo en dos minutos y lo hizo correctamente, pero conmigo lo termina en un minuto, sin ninguna conversación. Le pregunté amablemente por qué no me hablaba y me respondió: "Porque estás casada".
