The workers are incredibly rude. They were doing commercial work in front of a store and left a landing of wet concrete unmarked. My two boys and I walked right through it and ruined all of our shoes. I asked for contact information to talk to someone about paying for the shoes and they laughed at me. They said I was an idiot and it was clearly wet cement. I asked to take a picture of their vests to get company info and they laughed and flexed in the picture. Absolutely no accountability for their mistake, even though they immediately moved things over after I did it, because they knew they screwed up. Complete jerks and now I'm out $150 worth of shoes. So I called again leaving all my information again. Another week goes by and still nothing. Called today and their voicemail says sorry, not taking anymore Sealcoating jobs. Thanks! It was hard to find a company that would come and do seal coating for a 6 spot parking lot for a condo association in Chicago. Alexandria was very professional. We did the the sealcoating and then an extensive and extreme thunderstorms ruin some of the sealcoating. The crew came out bright and early within a couple of days to fix the problem. I would give 0 stars if I could. I had an appointment scheduled between 10am & 6pm on a Sunday. I waited the whole time on my my day off, on a Sunday for this company not to show up. No call, no show. I attempted to reach them several times and left messages with no response. I didn't even receive a courtesy call to cancel or reschedule the appointment instead this company chose not to reach out to me at all even after I left them messages. I am completely dissatisfied. First communication was through yelp, and they responded quickly. After some back and forth emails, I was told an estimator would come out and then a quote sent. I've been waiting for an estimator: it's been two weeks, so I sent follow up message asking when I can expect to see someone, no reply. Sent another message, no reply. I've now had to call another company who has already came out, quoted and scheduled me for this Friday. Not sure what happened with Walsh, great reviews for everyone else. UPDATE: changed from a two star to a three star. Walsh contacted me make things right, I receive my quote which was reasonable and very detailed. I am moving forward with the other company for sealcoating since it's already scheduled for tomorrow but I will use Walsh next Spring 2018 for the repairs to our drive. When the work is complete, I will update the review again. read more

We moved into a house in dire need of cosmetic repair inside and out. We'd finished inside and the driveway was our first choice for outside. There were tons of cracks with weeds growing through them and a split down the middle in different colors, one side newer than the other. We got a number of quotes, one place suggested just tearing it out. We went with Walsh because although they were not the cheapest (they were actually the most expensive) because we wanted someone with good reviews and a long term relationship for maintenance. They did an excellent job, the men did more than they had to actually in the preparation. There was an issue with one crack that would wash out after every rain until they decided to use a different material for that particular crack. Due to the length of time it took to finally change the method used to keep it filled and the amount of back and forth required I would rate them 4.5/5 but rounded up because they DID come back and other companies might not have and there is no 4.5 option. All in all I would definitely use them again and intend to contact them when the driveway needs resealing again, I imagine that crack won't be such a pita the next time around. Also, excellent customer service from Alex and the one crew member I did speak to was polite and friendly. read more

I text Walsh about my driveway still having cracks to deep and new cracks in them.So they said they probably re coat it.The crew came out and said the driveway cracks was normal.They filled four line of cracks and left.I still have a lot of cracks to deep and some with new cracks in then. I would not recommend them to re pair driveway cracks. read more

Tar splattered on the sidong of our house but they were quick to come and assess even though we didn't even call them yet. Very accomodating, they work hard to keep customers happy. She even suggested doing less work than what I had originally requested because she said I would be wasting my money. Really appreciate that kind of honesty. I would not recommend Walsh, I called for a quote approximately a month ago, I never received the quote. I did call twice to inquire about the quote, and was told I would have it in a day or two. I am still waiting. In the meantime, I have found someone else to sealcoat my driveway, and I am very happy with their prompt service. read more
