I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with this listing agent was one of the most…read morestressful parts of the home-buying process. From the beginning, she insisted on cross-qualifying me through her own process and put my lender through what felt like endless scrutiny. My lender remained professional, responsive, and respectful throughout every interaction, yet it seemed nothing was ever good enough. What bothered me most was that instead of conducting basic research on my lender's qualifications and track record, she chose to repeatedly question and challenge him. She then communicated to my agent that she was unhappy with my lender, despite apparently not taking the time to properly evaluate him herself. The result was three days of unnecessary panic, confusion, and stress for everyone involved. Rather than facilitating a smooth transaction, her actions created delays, uncertainty, and distrust. As a buyer, it felt like she was more focused on creating obstacles than solving problems. A listing agent's job is to represent the seller while still conducting business professionally and efficiently. In my experience, the lack of professionalism, poor judgment, and unnecessary pressure made an already stressful process significantly worse. I would not want to go through another transaction with this agent.

Whenever something unexpected came up (and in real estate, something always does), she handled it immediately and strategically. She fought for us during negotiations, kept everything on track during escrow, and explained every step in plain English. We never felt lost or unsure about what was happening. Beyond the professionalism, she genuinely cares. You can tell she wants her clients to win, not just close. If you're buying or selling in LA, call Cricket. Period.

My properties were not…read moreadvertised correctly on key platforms, including Apartments.com, Homes.com, and Zillow, which are among the most important channels for marketing rental listings. This negatively affected visibility and inquiries. When I raised these issues and requested corrections, the agent declined to address them, stating that it would take too much time and that technical personnel were unavailable. As a result, the inaccuracies remained unresolved. When I continued to follow up regarding these issues, the agent terminated the agency relationship, which caused delays in marketing my properties. She also suggested that my listings be transferred to more junior personnel within her brokerage rather than handling the matter herself. In addition, I gave clear instructions to restrict access to a separate furnished studio unit with valuable contents and specifically requested that the lockbox code be changed so contractors could not enter. Despite these instructions, after termination of my agreement she willfully made the key accessible to the contractors. In my experience, her conduct was unprofessional, including failing to correct listing errors, not following clear instructions regarding property access, and terminating the agency after concerns were raised. Based on my experience, there were significant lapses in responsiveness, follow-through, and adherence to client instructions.

He liked the personal care and knowledge a local realtor offered, specializing in our specific architecture and neighborhood, I agreed we needed someone approachable, but was concerned about a solo realtor with so many responsibilities per transaction being efficient, b/c selling a house in SoCal is so contractually perilous. From the start, we received excellent service from Stephanie and her team. She was personally available 97% of the time, and if not got back to me fairly quickly. (When hiring a good realtor, you need to understand that if you want personal service, they still have other clients. However, if they're on the phone giving them good service, when they call you back, you'll receive the same treatment!) The team was flexible and all very respectful of our preferences regarding communications, privacy and showings. I was impressed with her individual specialists overseeing each aspect of the transaction, including following the buyer's loan progress and double-checking their realtor's responsibilities too. They dotted all their i's and crossed their T's; I never felt I had to remind them of anything- they did as they said they would, and if I had a question someone responded immediately. Our escrow closed today, and the sale went so smoothly we're pinching ourselves! Many thanks to Chung Mi, Melissa, Adrian and the other team members. I think of Stephanie as a friend and will miss talking with her!

Special shout out to Vitacco's agents Raini Casados, who helped me buy the very house I had to sell fourteen years earlier and who was particularly understanding and compassionate to my circumstances, Joey Lewis, who's energy and warmth translated through every phone call, and Chung Mi Ferraro who was on top of every single tiny detail throughout the entire process. Vitacco's team is a well-oiled machine and everyone seems very passionate about their work and their relationship with their clients. I can't wait to use them when I am able to buy another home.

When selling my parents' home, they made the process easy and clean, avoided the typical open house circus, and kept pushing to get the best result possible. When my wife and I were looking to buy, they actually told us to wait because they didn't think the market was right for what we wanted, even though that meant no business for them. Once we found a property, they helped us evaluate whether it was truly a good opportunity. Ken also helped my wife through the anxiety that comes with such a big purchase. He walked us through each step, answered our questions, and always made us feel comfortable. So yeah, go with them. Trust.
