I am glad I stumbled upon this place! So I just recently moved from KCMO and I was looking around online for a new dentist and I was calling around. I found out most dentists here don't take my insurance. So the closest one I found was Walton Blvd. I come in for like a cleaning & check up since I hadn't been in a little while. And everyone is so super nice! I believe I have gone in now 3 times and every single time everyone is so friendly even when they have a bunch of stuff going on. I can't remember, I think it was Eddie? I just remember he talked about how he got married in KC and he was the one that did my cleaning and everything for my first visit. Went over some of the anxiety that I have with dentists. And made sure everything was all good to go for me! And I am being generous with 2 stars. If you want a very pitiful cleaning and check up this is the place to go! They will have it done in minutes and you can go on your way. Honestly it was not even worth the cost or trouble of the car trip there. I worked for a dentist so clearly know what should be expected. We will not go back. So... Shopping around is always a bit on the stressful side. You have to read reviews and take it all with a grain of salt. I tell it like it is, I tell it all, the good the bad and the evil. And I don't sugar coat but I also don't exaggerate anything either. I had received a flyer in the mail from Walton Blvd Dental. Went into google and read some reviews. They have a good rating. But all the bad ones seem to all point towards Dr Brown that is no longer there, AND all about bigger more extensive work. But I decided to give them a try regardless. Because they still have a 4.5 rating with 157 reviews on google. That's still VERY good. I decided to go in, because I wanted to see it for myself. The atmosphere, the people and etc. They weren't very welcoming. Kind of... Quite. Which I am not quite, in a talkative person. But I've also worked in customer service for a very long time, so a greeting is ALWAYS important. Take Panda Express for example. They ALL yell, WELCOME TO... So, not expecting yelling, but expected more then what I got. Not a lot of eye contact or anything. Just kind of BLA... It's ok... still going to give them a shot. Maybe all their dogs died on the same day. People have bad days. Not going to punish them all for having a bad day. They weren't rude. Not at all. Just quite. They verify my insurance is taken there. GREAT! And got me in the very next morning. Which was today. This morning. I show up. They were a little more friendly. But still, all kind of quite. However. The lady at the front, was more talkative. A little more funny. Was messing with the other ladies that are a little more quite and reserved. Which made me feel a little more relaxed. I got called back, and my dental Hygienist did EVERYTHING. I had her from beginning to end. The X-rays, cleaning, I was there for exactly 2 hours. VERY thorough. And by far the best dental hygienist I have ever had. I say this because she was nice, very friendly, goofy, made me laugh, was normal, AND she was telling me things I had NO IDEA why dentists did what they do. No one has ever explained in detail. I LOVED that. I literally learned more today at this one appt then I have at ALL my other appts combine ever. I have my next appts scheduled in 6 months. Excited to go back! Love this place! I'm seriously SO glad I gave them a chance to redeem themselves after the bad past reviews from the previous dentist. read more

I have to say that every single staff member, from the front desk to the hygienists, down to the actual dentist are so kind! They're patient, friendly, and they tell you what you need to know. I've been twice and I'm so glad I randomly picked this dentistry because they really truly go the extra mile, AND they have every kind of toothpaste you could imagine! The dentist refused to give me bottom dentures instead gave me a partial now not even 6mos later I need the rest pulled and dentures put in also he filed my natural teeth to make my partial fit! It has been a horrible experience!! read more
