Best quality meat that you can buy locally at a grocery store. Also, the owner is a big supporter to the community.

I'm a coach and we had a three day meet at Grove City College, due to circumstances I had to…read morescramble to find dinner. Luckily I found the county market cafe. The workers were very accommodating with my last minute requests and daily phone calls to make slight changes to the orders. After a long day I appreciated how pleasant and friendly the staff was when I went to pick up the food. I cannot speak any more highly of the service I received. What was supposed to be a last minute dinner change for one night, evolved into us ordering food from them every night we were in grove city. My athletes loved the food. Especially the mac and cheese, rigatoni, baked chicken and the chicken parm. With my budget, the prices could not be beat. I would recommend their catering to anyone that wants to feed a large group!

Produce, dairy, and meat and fish items are always fresh as well as deli and bakery items. Bakery cakes are beautifully decorated as well as tasty. Sushi and dine in items are varied. Unlike the other grocery store in town mobility scooters and carry out service are offered. I am also grateful for the special events and community donations they sponser. Recent changes to this local grocery has severely impacted customer service and quality. The store…read morechanged its coupons from stamps to electronic. The electronic does not work and when asked to assist the store manager was less than helpful made me wait 15 minutes and acted like the failure of the system was my fault. Also since putting hardware in the store there have been lay offs of baggers and the grocery portion has declined noticeably in the produce section and bakery. Due to poor customer service I will no longer be supporting this establishment.

Whoo-hoo! The Franklin grocery store survived! Sander's…read moreMarkets is a grocery store that has a few different owners throughout the decades. This grocery store is Franklin's closest and a few years ago, prior to the pandemic, I was concerned if it would survive at all. The shelves were mostly empty, the selection was sparse, and if I had seen a tumbleweed I wouldn't have been surprised. Then Sander's took over ownership and the store looks so much better! Many aspects are the same - the decor hasn't changed in decades with the aisles named after Franklin streets, the same look and feel except no more cute elements like the model train that circled above people's heads or the rain sound effects when the misters over the produce turned on. That's fine as it was simply fluff. What's more important is they have a great selection of all food once more from fresh produce to meat and they have great customer service. I was searching for blueberries and asked a couple of employees if they knew if they had any. The one gentleman checked the back and returned telling me that the blueberries weren't put on the shelf because they were poor quality. I appreciated that he took the time to look, that he gave me a transparent answer when he returned, and demonstrated that the store cares about quality. It was great seeing that!

The first two things you'll notice is the excellent mid-century design of the sign outside (some are inside too - keep an eye out) and the exceptionally friendly greeting upon your arrival. There's no self check outs or disgruntled big box store "greeters" here; just genuine local folk who are happy to see you (even us out of towners). For how small the store is there is a wide variety of just about everything you need and then some things that you don't "need" but certainly want, like the donuts. I visited over the holiday and couldn't resist the clearance holiday socks. Who knew?! I found many items that I was having trouble locating at larger, more prominent grocery stores. If you're shopping for tofu you'll be out of luck, but I am willing to overlook that due to the overall charm and convenience. Shopping just isn't like this everywhere anymore. Do yourself a favor and pick up as many groceries as you can all while shopping small and local.

The frosting for the cake rivals most of the cakes I've had in my life. Danishes are delishish and the chocolate peanut butter gobs... well shhhhhh keep those a secret. Prices are okay. It's convenient, you don't need to ride to wm or ge. Shop small. It's a good store.
