We completed a walkthrough of my home, identifying everything that would be included in the move. After I signed the contract, they began working immediately. Unfortunately, about an hour into the move, the team lead pulled me aside and presented me with a new contract. He explained that I had been quoted incorrectly and that the job would require a third mover. This increased the cost by an additional $80 per hour and extended the estimated time from 5 hours to 7 hours. Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed by this sudden change. The team had already completed the walkthrough and knew exactly how much needed to be moved, yet they waited more than an hour into the job to tell me additional labor was required. Because I was on a strict timeline to vacate the home I was selling and move into my new house, I felt I had no real choice but to agree and proceed. After everything was packed, we conducted another walkthrough. I pointed out several items that had been missed, and the team began loading them. However, when I returned for a final check, I discovered they had still left behind a significant amount of belongings--enough to fill my SUV twice. The issues continued at the new house. Clearly labeled boxes were placed in the wrong locations, with basement items brought upstairs and garage items left outside in the yard instead of being placed in the garage. I specifically reminded the crew to plug in my basement refrigerator, but they failed to do so, resulting in all of the meat stored in the freezer being spoiled. Overall, the experience was extremely frustrating and disorganized. What started as a quoted $1,500 move ended up costing me nearly $2,800, and the quality of service did not justify the additional expense. I cannot recommend this company based on my experience.

My problem with them was in the placement of boxes/furniture at my destination. Every box and…read morepiece of furniture was clearly labeled, but for some reason they delivered a very large and very heavy dresser into a walk-in closet that was not easy to get to. It is beyond me why they would move this there especially since it was clearly labeled to go into a bedroom. Now, I have to pay for someone relocate it, which is not going to be easy. Also, many boxes clearly labeled to go into the garage were delivered to the basement. This is really stupid since they had to walk through the garage to get to the basement! I wrote the company and told them of this experience and they didn't bother to respond. This is quite disappointing since there price was right and everything else went well. My advise, even if your furniture and boxes are properly and clearly labeled, direct each item and tell the guys where you want everything.

I had to call multiple times the morning of my move after multiple confirmations prior. They told me they had no move prior to me that day and showed up with a rented truck and very few pads to wrap my furniture, which were requested in advance multiple times prior to my move. The owner was the only effective mover. He brought two others workers and I literally ran circles around one of them, as he put his monster energy drink on my antique furniture multiple times. It was very frustrating to watch the crew move my items, bumping into walls, set drinks on my furniture and not wrap my furniture, as requested prior to moving items. I had much better success with the big companies that are local movers. The prices were also better with other moving companies. When they went to close out my transaction at the end of my move, they forgot about my $100 initial deposit as well as miscommunicated the dollar amount giving me multiple prices. I will not use this company again and was not pleased with my experience.

You never want to hear the moving crew say "we should have brought a bigger truck." The quote was around $2500-$2800, but we were only charged about half of that because they ran out of truck before we ran out of stuff. One of the movers told me they didn't like moving televisions, couldn't I just take that 80" TV in my car because they didn't have the proper equipment with them to move them. They made one load and we spent the next 4 days lifting and moving stuff in our vehicles--something we tried to avoid by hiring movers. This service was not worth the high cost of having to move things ourselves. We had used the service twice before, but never again.

The final cost actually came in a little bit under the low-end of the quote. It was a townhouse move to a Second floor condo in a neighboring city. The guys showed up a few minutes late (nothing horrible), and they worked like crazy. I mean really fast. They were all super nice! I wasn't quite done packing they said let us take whatever we can because it is easier for us than you. And, boy was that right. My advice to you if your moving when it gets close to the day just throw the rest of your stuff in boxes, because he was right it was easier for them than for us. Highly recommend these guys. And, would use them again with no hesitation.
