I first met Ben as a fellow sponsor for our club Chicago Auto Club West (CACW) and got to know him fairly well before having used his services. He was always the first one to jump in and help or provide advice on other projects. After being to his business and seeing his meticulous custom fabrication skills on several occasions I was reassured he was going to be the only choice among many other that I truly felt 100% confident in completing the work on my 2020 Ferrari 812 Superfast project. Ben and his team walked me through every step and what to expect prior to even dropping off the 812 Superfast. Almost instantly after dropping off the Ferrari with him, he was sending me consistent updates via text, photos and best of all high quality videos explaining exactly what was going on. There wasn't any point of time during the project that I had to call him or go check in on the progress, he was reaching out to me so I always knew the status. This was honestly the best customer service I've ever seen! Hochman Fabrication And Speed was installing a Fabspeed exhaust, Novitec Sport Springs and Spacers on the 812 Superfast for me that I had already purchased. Looking back at it I should have been more patient and went with one of his custom fabricated exhaust since we ran into a design flaw with the exhaust I brought him. After installing the exhaust Ben quickly caught things weren't sealing properly causing a leak. His experience and skill was proven at this point because he analyzed the problem, had the solution, fixed the issue and was back on track in under 30min!! This blew my mind! Most other would have probably spent countless hours trying to figure it out or walked away. Not these guys! They pushed through and had it resolved in not time at all!! Getting into this project I was expecting Hochman Fabrication And Speed to need the Ferrari for about a week. To my surprise they were able to knock out everything in 3 days with no corners cut and everything tested to ensure a high quality install!! Since they were installing new springs on a car that has a front lift and tinkering with the exhaust I was anticipating possible dashlight, codes or calibration that would be done by a Ferrari service center and I don't know how Ben and his team did it but that was not the case at all!!!! After their work no dash lights came on, front lift in full working order and nothing needs calibration! Which probably saved me a good chuck of change if I had to take it to the stealership. I dropped plans off with Andrew for pricing and left for vacation. When I returned and tried to follow up, Tom answered and was extremely rude, said to keep calling for Andrew as Andrew didn't return phone calls, etc. When I finally tracked down Andrew, he admitted to losing the drawings and asked that I send them again, which I did. I then called to follow up and ask for a delivery date. Spoke to Vitor, the fabricator, who was pretty nice. Answered all his questions. He said he'd get a price to Andrew that day. Surprisingly, Andrew never called. One week later, I tracked Andrew down again asking for the price and delivery schedule. He said he'd get back to me...could he have a number? A number? Seriously, I had now been talking with them for over FIVE WEEKS. So I asked for Jerry, who is the Assistant Manager (and who should be fired for lack of customer service). Jerry says that their head fabricator died two weeks ago so they cannot do my job and hung up on me. When I tried to call back and point out that I had dropped the project off FIVE WEEKS AGO, and was a repeat client, he wouldn't answer my calls. Then he had his secretary call me and reiterate that they wouldn't do my project and, he too, hung up on me. Such an unprofessional group of people. Not sure how they have managed to stay in business. They used to be so professional and good - turned projects around quickly, priced quickly, great to work with. I used to recommend them to builders and architects all the time. WILL NEVER DO THAT AGAIN. In my opinion, they must be circling the drain...do not give them projects...you probably will not get them completed before the company folds!

He kept me apprised along the way when he was almost done with iron working the bannister and asked if we wanted powder coating (slightly extra cost) which we did opt in for.
