Of the 8 ceiling lights only 3 were working, a mains socket had been installed upside down & a lamp shade in the hallway full of dust. In the surgery itself on the ceiling you notice a random electrical connector hanging redundantly from the ceiling, a ceiling which is stained by some water damage. lying there on my first visit wondering what the connector could have been for and what aquatic emergency befell the attic I could not help worrying that the dental work would have the same lack of refinement. As I was in pain I felt I would throw caution to the wind and not do an about turn. Much to my relief the Dentist & staff at this practice are all very pleasant. It's good that he takes time to explain what he's going to do and the options you have. All the work I have had done here has been good, if somewhat costly, but aren't all Dentists. The office sends you an SMS or calls a day before an appointment as a reminder. I have always arrived about 5 minutes early for every appointment but have always been made to wait 5 to 15 minutes after my appointment should have started. On days when I am not in a hurry then fine, but some appointments have been early morning before work and being kept waiting for quarter of an hour is really annoying. Perhaps I should SMS them from reception saying 'Still waiting', or I could swap out some of those bulbs, which after 3 months of visits are in the same state.

The surroundings were elegant, smart and clean, not cold and clinical like some places. There were plenty of magazines and a TV to help me take my mind off the appointment but I needn't have worried as the Dentist was, again, friendly and so knowledgeable. He took a great deal of time to explain my treatment to me - I learned much more about my teeth than I was aware. I felt completely relaxed and in control. He also had a gentle manner and I really felt like a person, not a number. I can honestly say I have no worries about my next dental appointment!

The gums were sore but the dentist that treated me, Glafcos, was excellent, he really explained everything to me (including how poor my teeth were!) and what I need to do going forward. Anyway, I noticed that my teeth were becoming slightly crooked and asked Dr Soin for his advice and I was pleasantly surprised at the range of options I had. In the end I chose an invisible brace which I even had to point out to my wife at first as it was far less obvious than I thought it would be. It was important to me to get the choice right as I knew it would be in place for a few months and Dr Soin was really good at managing my expectations around what to eat and my oral hygiene during the treatment. I had regular maintenance and cleaning check ups all of which fitted around my working schedule well. The staff are really great at answering all of my questions and reassuring me when I get nervous. My teeth are now straight and I'm surprised how many people have noticed the difference. I'm very impressed and it's been worth it. I would recommend Wimbledon Dental Spa to anyone considering this type of work.

After I already made an appointment with an Orthodontist (friend of mine) get my braces "installed", I contacted the Wimblesdon Dental Spa after reading a few great reviews and made an appointment to clean and fix some of my teeth. After the initial assessment with Dr Soin, he advised me that there are more work to be done than I initially thought or estimated and that it will take some time to do. Unfortunately for Dr Soin, I was not planning on rescheduling my appointment in getting my braces, but he understood my urgency and made it clear to me that it is very important to get the work done before I get my braces. Dr Soin then worked around my deadline and did a great job in doing so. Its great to deal with a dentist that his/her patients needs in to consideration and not just another numbered patient. I can honestly say that The Wimbledon Dental Spa has been instrumental fixing my teeth in the short space of time I provided.
