I decided to reach out to Wang Insurance over the phone and email and they seemed very hesitant to give quotes and just sent me a bunch of news articles. The tone of their office staff seemed very condescending to imply that I was wasting their time when I asked them to quote. But instead, Tiffany Wang called me instead. At first I appreciated her call because that was the first time we talked on the phone after doing business together for several years. I tried to resolve the issue. But then someone named Cynthia got on the phone. She was angry. She talked over me and yelled at me and asked me to stop calling her. It was quite disturbing and disappointing to hear someone speak like that. Wang should do a better at training their staff to take notes on who they're supposed to call back. We live in a zone with a lot of trees and over the years it has become very difficult to get a good home in owner's insurance. Our existing insurance company asked us to get fire insurance separately from CFP, which wasn't ideal. CFP is expensive and don't offer a great coverage. We came to know about Wang Insurance through one of our neighbors and within 2 days we were able to find and sign up for a good insurance with great coverage for a considerably lesser price. Had Wang Insurance for years, happily paying higher rates as they were recommended through family members. When I needed them to be my advocate when I filed my first home insurance claim they disappeared. -first year owning my new home, noticed what looked like leaking from underneath the master bathroom which overhung an outside covering. filed a claim and insurance agency sent out their approved plumber who found no leaks and that the stucco was bad. followed up a few times over the years and each time Wang insurance told me not to pursue further as it was already determined the stucco was bad. -eight years later the stucco was crumbling off and water damage was evident. filed a claim directly with the insurance company and another leak detector was sent by the insurance company who then said that the overflow valve was broken. -Wang insurance kept saying it was my fault and that I should have hired my own leak detector eight years ago. My claim for repairs was denied. Always had thought that they would be advocates for me in my time of need but that wasn't the case. read more

I used to think they were good but have had too many issues with their main representative within the last year and will never use them again. 1) When I signed up for Medicare supplemental insurance in Nov 2018, I asked if the particular insurance had Silver Sneakers and she said yes. The rep did not tell they were discontinuing SS Jan 1, 2019. I found out the insurance company sent agencies a letter in Sept 2018 saying they were cancelling SS for 2019. The rep should've let me know this. 2) I told the rep I wanted the Humana Walmart plan for my plan D prescription plan. The cost was $20 monthly but increased to $29 in January. This plan is increasing to $64 in 2020. I don't take any regular medications. When researching Humana further, I now see she had signed me up for the Humana Premier plan instead of the Walmart plan. In 2020 I'll pay just $13.20 for the Humana Walmart plan I originally wanted. I assume the insurance rep makes more money by signing clients up for more expensive plans. 3) I had home insurance with them. When I sold my house in July I said I needed insurance through July 26 which was the closing date. The Wang rep cancelled my insurance for July 25. If my house had burned down on July 26, it would not have been covered. 4) The auto insurance she found for me was much higher than comparable insurance I got on my own. Overall, very disappointed in all the issues that went wrong with this rep and company and would never use them again. read more
