Being a home brewer myself, I really wanted to visit a brewery while in England and explore the craft brew scene. I found this place and decided to stop in.
It's way out in the country and located on a working farm. It's a very small place with a tasting room and then a warehouse size space where the brewery equipment is located. On the day we arrived we were the only ones there so we had the full attention of the guy running the place. He was super cool and told us all about the brewery and we tasted several of the beers which were all fantastic. He then gave us a little tour of the brewery itself and let us look at all the shiny stainless steel. Very cool. I loved the beer so I bought a three pack of beer to bring back to the US to share with friends.
We liked this place so much we came and visited again on our way out of the area. If you're into no frills, out of the way breweries like I am, you'll love this place. read more
