Dr. Doug Mindlins are both incredibly patient, gentle, caring, and thorough veterinarians. Over the years, they've helped our cats through eye infections, cyst growth, heart murmurs, parasites, and more, and we always felt our cats were in very good hands. The pricing has also always felt very fair no hidden fee, and before any more expensive tests, they always took the time to explain and ask first, which we really appreciated. The vet assistants are also absolutely amazing and so kind, and the front desk staff are always warm, friendly, and super quick when we need receipts or SOAP notes. Overall, we've had such a wonderful experience here. We're honestly really sad that after leaving Fort Lauderdale, we won't be able to keep coming here and seeing everyone anymore. No matter what, we highly recommend Quad City Animal Clinic. Thank you so much for taking such great care of our cats all these years!

We walked and was greeted by the receptionist and asked to fill paperwork out. An amazing nurse (I wish I could remember but being an emergency I had other things rolling through my mind) came out and took us to a room to see the doctor. The doctor was so professional and understanding that this wasn't just a dog it was my baby. After explaining to us the possibilities and estimate, I said do whatever you can to help my girl. After saying our see you later ( not good bye as I refused to believe it would be just that) he led her into the back. Now the waiting period. After several hours we got the call from the doctor explaining all the treatments he administered we were told we could pick her up. We arrived and in no time she was brought out. The experience was stressful and the staff were absolutely the best. There were issues we weren't even aware of that they treated. This animal hospital is the best and my fur baby is on the med. A HUGE thank you to the staff.

It was a bit of an urgent matter this morning, and my original vet from Centeal Park location was not available, so I decided to visit the Coral Springs site, which was only 5 min from home. When I arrived, and quick patient form had to be filled out, and they were able to pull my dog's records from our original location. Nismo was given a welcome baggie, filled with some goodies to take home. When I made my appointment over the phone, I inquired if the Care Club plan we have at Centeal park carried over and could be used at other locations, and unfortunately it does not. Care Club plans for specific to the location you signed up. Nevertheless less, the kind vet assistant that I spoke with made me aware that there is a coupon on the website site for a free one time visit for first time patients, so I took advantage of that, the the check up was in fact 100% free, I ended up only paying for a few pills for my dog. This location is clean and well stocked with food, treats and lots of oral needs for both cats and dogs. Grooming and boarding is also offered here, and I noticed they have a doggy in the facility. It was definitely a great experience. Wonderful, quick appointment times and one on one consultation.

The worst. I took my baby for the first time. The employees in the front were extremely friendly…read moreand helpful. However I was brought in to the exam room and one thing I don't like is when someone walks into a room, who doesn't introduce themselves or state their position. A man came in and asked me why I was there. He took down my information and then I started asking questions. To my surprise, he told me he was a tech and not the vet. I truly thought he was the vet! Again, never introduced himself. He leaves and then a woman comes in and guess what? She never introduced herself or told me who she was. Finally I asked who she was and she finally told me she was the vet. But she still didn't tell me her name. (I finally figured out her name when I was emailed my vet bill.) Another thing I don't like is they don't exam your baby in front of you. They are whisked away into another area. Ten minutes later the vet goes through what she wanted to do. Of course it involved expensive blood and urine tests. The vet also stated she wanted to do something with my animal and told me she would administrate the medication. Again this is why I don't like my animal being in a different room from me. The vet forgot to administer the medicine! Yes, I was charged for it. You will not believe this. It took SEVEN DAYS, yes 7 days to get their tests back. My baby was still sluggish and sick while we had to sit and wait for the results. When VCA finally called, a tech goes over the results not the vet! The tech couldn't answer one question. I also found out that after 7 days, the tech realized that not all the tests results came back! What, 7 days wasn't long enough? This was a disaster! Never going back. Remember no matter how sick your animal is, 7 day wait for the results. Good luck!

It can get timely with waiting, but their service is quality. It's compassionate. It's loving. They have another location of Premier Animal Hospital which I leaned towards going for convenience purposes, and this location seems to not have as many weight all the doctors work at both locations and I recommend this Vet. It's hard to find a good vet. None of them are 100% perfect of course but this one I would say is definitely worth recommending.

He said they didn't have the notes of his previous script. Fine, so I showed him the picture of the bottle that said "Tucker (dog)". And I showed him the automated visit notes that you get emailed to a visit showing that he's on trazodone. Makes sense, right? But not for Rashad. He said by showing him this proof that my dog was in these medicines I was being extremely condescending? What am I supposed to do, accept the fact that they didn't have it? He then said we need a doctor visit with the dog. I said why? It's not like dementia gets better. He replies "sir, I'm a certified medical professional" or something? Okay? Just because he woke up in the wrong side of the bed this morning doesn't have to make it any more stressful for someone dealing with a dementia dog. I waited an hour and never complained once. Marla (I think) was extremely nice at the receptionist and so was the doctor. This guy is one of those people that seems to take everything personal I guess. All I did was show the pill bottles and the visit summary!

The tech, Jamie, immediately put both me and my pup, Paddy, at ease. Paddy was nervous and hiding under a chair, but Jamie gently reassured him, promised she'd be back in a minute--and sure enough, she was right there. Before we knew it, his blood test, rabies vaccine, and other needed shots were done quickly and smoothly. Then Dr. Carl Ansara walked in--with a smile, jeans, and a T-shirt--completely unpretentious and instantly calming. He asked thoughtful questions, gently examined Paddy, complimented his haircut, and with a wink and a nod even "sanctioned" our next stop for Paddy--a snug nap after a McDonald's treat! It was also clear how much they truly love animals; Dr. Ansara and Jamie even shared stories about their own seven dogs. I couldn't have been more pleased. At the end of the visit, Dr. Ansara stepped out and returned with his personal cell number, saying if I ever needed him, not to hesitate to call. That level of care meant so much. The pricing was reasonable and fair, and the level of kindness and professionalism was outstanding. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Carl Ansara and the entire staff at Animal Hospital of University Drive in Sunrise. So grateful--we've definitely found our vet!
