One of the loudest stadiums in college football. This has been a home stadium the Razorbacks play in once a year. It's a great place to tailgate and great venue for a football game. You definitely wanna get here earlier for parking and then enjoy the pregame festivities. Enjoyed coming to the games here. Not sure how much longer the Hogs will playing here. read more

The security is very simple and unsophisticated; drinks are OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive. A damn drink is 4 bucks. Only good parts are the games. read more

As I said out in Wyoming, if it were named w**re memorial stadium, I'd be here more often. First-Hand Experience: Info on my personal visit to this stadium - I've been to this stadium twice, but never seen a game here. I've been in the grounds, and also inside. I was surprised that nobody stopped us from walking right in there, but we had a fun time walking up and down the aisles, on the edge of the field, and taking pictures. It's very old, and not one of the very best stadiums I've seen. I've been to every cool stadium in the UK & North America, due to my obsession with travel & sport. I've toured America as a musician for 7 or 8 years. In that time, I've seen sports games at, or visited when empty (and usually both), at almost every major stadium in US and Canada. I have pictures of most which I will upload at some point. Also, on future travels, I plan to take new pix, and add more stadia! Watch this space! ***back to regular review*** This is actually the secondary stadium for the Razorbacks, they usually play up in Fayetteville, AR, but because of my eternal love affair with the city of Little Rock, the amazing crowds they always send out for my shows, and for the noise they make when the Razors are in town (and I don't mean Dollar Shave Club), I have to give this stadium a good rating. It's nice, especially for a college. Looked great for a facility that opened in 1948. It's been well maintained and updated. Liked the art sculpture out front and the manicured grounds surrounding it. read more

Woooooo..... Pig Souie! I made a trip to War Memorial while in college to see Mississippi State play Arkansas. It was a fun trip, but the stadium needs some work. It's older and I can't imagine it continuing to host football games for too much longer. The stadium is smaller, but it's a chance for the citizens of Little Rock to see their beloved Razorbacks. They usually play on campus in Fayetteville. It's a nice change of pace and a short drive for the football team. While I can understand this change in venue for the university, it's a bit of a bummer for visiting fans. I would rather have attended a game in Fayetteville. I've heard that the campus and athletic facilities and campus are beautiful--much of that due to the influence of the Walton family. I will definitely make that trip one day. By stark contrast, the stadium in Little Rock is in need of many improvements. It's cramped and the bleachers and structure itself feel like they are falling apart. If you are going to see the Razorbacks play football, make sure that they are playing on campus. read more

This stadium is more like an over sized high school stadium. We've been here 3 times for the LSU Arkansas game on Thanksgiving weekend. It's quite an experience when all the Razorback fans do the "whooo pig souie" cheer. I recommend checking it out some time. The exiting at the end of the game sucks because they filter tons of fans through a tiny opening. People can get pretty frustrated about this. We had no complaints with the stadium itself. I do understand you had a security incident but security needs to get on the same page and the on-line security rules need to be updated. I was told one thing when I went in and when my husband came it, he was told something completely different. read more

For a secondary football stadium this place rocks! It is old and beat down but the fans are typical Razorback fans. Nutty to the last! The lighting is awesome and the turf is beautiful. It is the fat sloppy south, so you know the food is good. It is a shame that a place that seats 54,000 people couldn't get more games. I went here on vacation to watch Arkansas play LSU. The Hogs pulled the upset and Matt Jones was KILLING the soft Tigers. When I was a kid, I lived in Arkansas for a while and my dad took me to my first college football game there. Arkansas vs. Texas in October of 1987, Arkansas lost in the final few minutes when Eric Metcalf scorched them deep. We also went before my father passed away to see the Hogs vs. Louisiana Monroe. The hogs won that night, as expected. I have lived most of my life in California, and I am a die hard USC fan. But I will always hold a special place in my heart for this stadium and the Hogs. Whats crazy is I almost couldn't find a place to actually write a public review on War Memorial Stadium til I found this, because of course you cant write anything on their website to actually let folks know. Ive gone here for three events now. First off, let me warn you that you better have some money unless you want to sweat all day without something to drink. All drinks, even water, are $4 and the food prices are even worse. When they search your bags looking for weapons and such, they are, but they're really looking for food and drinks, even candy. No umbrellas, no matter the weather, but somehow you always see someone with one. One time, Ive seen them say no one could bring in cowbells and the next time I went everyone had them. And no re-entry no matter what when you buy a ticket. I spoke with one of the people working the gate and she looked miserable. Her face was all red and you could tell they had all been sweating. They all wear thick polos and are standing where there's pretty much no air flow. You can see them drinking unopened bottles of water they took from bags. The person I talked to said the concessions wouldn't even give them any bottles of water. So would could blame them. That's pretty sad. So eat before you go, and have money for a drink because you're going to sweat and a poncho if rain is expected. And hopefully you don't smoke because you cant smoke inside of course, and you cant step out and come back in without another ticket. read more
