We've gotten our frames here the last couple of years and have had no complaints. I really love the options they have and I find the frames and lens to be very durable. My husband gets prescription sunglasses here as well and uses them daily. They're great with repairs and scratches. The shipping is always fast as well. We've never gotten an eye exam at this location. We usually opt to bring in an updated prescription from our optometrist. They do a great job of keeping everything on file and being able to quickly open up our accounts when we stop in. read more

I really cannot say enough good things about this place. They are incredibly kind and helpful here. I had a ton of questions about getting new glasses and they answered every last question with a great attitude. I am excited to get my glasses. The space is very open and bright. Quarantine boredom has me catching up on reviews... I went to Warby Parker on 02/22/2020 to find some new glasses. I wandered around the store and tried on nearly every pair of glasses. Finally, a worker named Chris saw me struggling and offered some assistance! He did a fantastic job finding two options that I liked. I was having trouble deciding between the two so he asked customers and another worker for their opinion, which was helpful. I ended up choosing the "Lindley." He added "Ava" in my account's Favorites in case I decided I wanted to exchange or order the other pair as well, which I appreciated. He took a picture of my prescription (I brought from my optometrist) and took an additional measurement. He was very nice and professional! I paid $140 for the frames + $35 for thinner lenses (because my prescription is higher than +4), bringing my total to $175. It only took a week for the glasses to be shipped to my home. I went back to the store to have them adjusted, and Chris was there again to help! I suggest you go right when they open to avoid waiting. Overall I would recommend and return. Be careful buying from this store. They promise the world saying that after you purchase it you can come in and get adjustments but they refuse to do it every time I come in. They say they can't do it 'today' they can't do it tomorrow, they can't do it in next week. They sold me bad glasses that don't fit and have poor vision because of it. First time here and quite pleasantly surprised! Large selection of frames to chose from. This is the only eyeglass place that offers different sizes to accommodate people with narrow to wide faces. They also have frames for people who have low nose bridges. Other eyeglass stores only offer "one size fits all", which is not ideal since not everyone is the same. She asked to see my prescription so I handed it to her- and she immediately started telling me the cost and that this option would be $100, that another option would be an additional $100 and her recommended for thinner lenses - another $100 + , extra . The final quote off the top of her head - right under $500 !! She never once offered to show me any frames. So, I looked around , thanked her and walked out . Just visited this place last week because I need some replacement glasses and I had such a good experience here! I used the Warby Parker app first and was going to do some home try ons but the frame I wanted were not available for home try on. I suppose the styles are popular--and for good reason. All of the frames here are fantastic, appealing to the face, and modern. The worker here grabbed all of the glasses that were available in store and gave me plenty of time to try them on my own. She also gave me advice between two frames I was debating on and we picked and ordered the perfect frame for me! So is this the new millennium way to purchase eyeglasses?! I first discovered Warby Parker as an online store where you can order glasses to try on before buying . I ordered five glasses to try on at home and decided I liked one style, but was nervous about buying with my script so never ordered any glasses. Just a few weeks later I noticed Warby Parker's new store front on R street! I excitedly walked in and was greeted by a couple of friendly employees. Warby Parker is strictly retail. There is no optometrist on site. If you have a valid script, you can choose your frame from their displays in store and they will place the order online for you . I believe all frames were under a hundred bucks and if you need anything specialized it's still extremely affordable compared to glasses bought at traditional eyeglass shops with optometrists. They also take insurance if you have it. I found the initial frames I saw online and tried them on again. I really liked them so I went ahead and ordered them. The glasses came about a week later delivered to my home address . I needed them adjusted so I brought them in and they adjusted the glasses to a near perfect fit. I loved my new glasses so much I went ahead and ordered a second pair. I love the value and the esthetics of the modern frames WP carries . They have a young hip crew that's friendly and knowledgeable. I m sure I'll be back again for some sunglasses this time and maybe another adjustment to my glasses . read more

This is a review of the location, not the company in general. This is the only store in the city, and they usually have all the current stock available in store to try on. This is huge for me. I require some specific measurements that are particular to each frame, so the in-store try on and ordering process is necessary for me. The staff here is friendly, knowledgeable and competent. Had a go a few times during the pandemic, and they were able to provide exellent measurements and adjustments, even while I was wearing a mask. Definitley recommend this location. read more

My original pair of Warby Parkers went bye-bye after one too many falls, smashes or suspected mishandlings by my son. So I walked back in the door for a new pair. Two years later and a second visit have confirmed why this is such a great business, for reasons I'll expand on below. Right off the bat, the customer service was exceptional. They thoroughly explained how their inventory is set up, how trying glasses on works and how to go about getting a new pair. There was always someone on hand to help. In short, if you have any hesitancy about coming down because the process of getting new glasses seems overwhelming, don't. I like their styles and their prices. $95 as the base price for any pair is really reasonable considering a classic eye shop can easily quote you costs in the $400s for a standard pair. And I guarantee that unless your friends are very up on glasses brands, they won't bat an eye at the fact that you are wearing these. I got the glasses I ordered three days earlier than expected and they fit wonderfully. They have a customer for life! read more

I had been looking for prescription sunglasses for a while. For anyone who has shopped for them, they know how expensive they can be and typically are not covered by insurance. Finding a frame that would work for me as I need a narrow frame was a challenge. I happened to walk into warby parker in the Roseville mall. It was buzzing like the Apple store. So I thought that I would walk in and walk out as the wait to get help would be too long. I walked in and out of the store in less than 20 minutes. Found a pair that fit, at a reasonable price and with the help of an associate. Additionally I did not have my prescription with me. Not a problem. They took the name of my optometrist and got the prescription directly from them. Basically, I picked the frame, the lenses and paid for it. They did all the rest. Was so impressed and happy. My glasses were destroyed by my friend's dog. I tried ordering replacement ones (no new prescription needed) online but my prescription was expired. My eye doctor recently retired. I stopped by on the spur of the moment today to see if the midtown WP was open, and they were. Turned out they'd just reopened a few days ago. I want to say thanks to the two women working today. They were friendly and welcoming, and also very clear about how things work in the store now. One of them helped me order a set of glasses and she was super helpful, made the transaction super-easy and pleasant. I also want to give both women props for being patient with another couple who were probably not the only... let's call them uncooperative... customers. These folks were told upon entry that masks were required, and there's signage (and they're required statewide, duh). The employees had to remind the male customer once, then the female, who continued to not wear her mask after that. I would have been much more curt with them myself, and looking back, wish I'd said something as well, as we were all sharing the same air and these two clearly didn't get it. Review during Covid: Shopping for glasses online on Warby Parker was super fun and easy. You can even download their app to try on the glasses in the safety of your own home. The prices are really good and affordable. All glasses arrive in a case and has a wipe on the inside so don't feel like you have to purchase extra stuff before you complete your online purchase. My glasses arrived in a couple days from ordering so that was awesome! As for the quality of the glasses, I won't know until I have worn them for a while. I will update this review if any issues arise. I showed up to Warby Parker in person because once my glasses arrived, I had to get them adjusted so they'd fit on my face. Upon arriving, there were two female employees and a customer inside. One of the ladies came to help me. I was told that there were a lot of customers in line before me and that she could take down my number and text me when they were ready for me. After about 5-10 minutes, I got a text saying that they were ready for me. I was seriously wondering what happened to the many customers who were in front of me, but okay, I was just glad the wait wasn't long. The same lady who greeted me took me to the back counter to help me adjust my glasses. She was fast and efficient. Unfortunately, it is kind of hard to test to see if your glasses fit perfectly on your face or not just because the metal piece on the face masks interfere with how the glasses sit on the bridge of your nose. They absolutely do not allow you to lower your mask while inside the store even if you're more than 6 feet apart so feel free to step outside and try on the glasses without the mask. After I did that, I asked her to tighten up the glasses a little more since glasses tend to loosen up and then slide down the bridge of your nose. She firmly told me that she wouldn't tighten them up anymore because she didn't want to give me a headache and that if I needed it to be more adjusted later to come back. I thought that was interesting considering she's not the one wearing my glasses to know whether or not how tight or loose it was on my head and I don't live in the area to go as I please to get my glasses adjusted anytime. I have needed prescription glasses for close to 25 years, but what the heck do I know. It was already an inconvenience having to drive there just to get my glasses adjusted. For once, the customer is not right. I heard that there is a blonde friendly male staff who works there who offers great customer service. Now where the hell was he? I wanted to look around the shop and check out some of the glasses & sunglasses on the walls, but after that encounter, I really didn't want to stick around any longer. Also just an FYI, Warby Parker will only adjust their frames and not any other frames that you may have that are not Warby Parker frames. This is totally understandable, but just a heads up for those who may have wanted to adjust their other frames and kill two birds with one stone since they're already in a shop that can adjust frames. This is not a one stop shop. Overall, I would purchase more Warby Parker glasses in the future, but as for getting them adjusted, sounds like customer service is hit or miss. read more

When logistics became a major issue, there was little attempt to resolve the issue or take responsibility without offering a number of excuses beforehand. I say it's all pluses. 1-- wide variety of stylish frames, displayed by shape to simplify shopping. 2-- lenses, btw, include some features you might have to pay extra for elsewhere (scratch-resistant, anti-reflective) 3-- your glasses may come at a very reasonable price. Though mine needed "transitional" lenses (formerly known as tri-focals) they cost about the same as my pre-WP glasses 4-- smart, capable, helpful salespeople! At this location, Sam oh-so-patiently walked me through my frame-choosing until I had the perfect glasses for my face-shape/hair-color/complexion. Mike measured me for the lenses and was there for me again to perfectly fit my frames after I received them in the mail. (It took only about a week.) Yay, Sam and Mike! 4-- conveniently, WP will re-adjust frames as long as you own your specs 5-- oh and there's plenty of free parking in the lots around WP on R Street. 6-- Finally, kind-hearted glasses-shoppers will be happy to know that WP supports several programs to give glasses and vision care to people who need them A SUGGESTION If you have a bit-- or a chunk-- of "type A personality" in your makeup: I'd recommend an early-in-the-day visit as less crowded. (Kind of like everywhere else.) Also recommend that type-A-ers be finicky about verifying the operating hours of a business they plan to interact with. Wow! Super cool new sunglasses shop in the Ice Blocks right over by my house. I loved getting to check out this brightly decorated shop. It has old books lining the wall as decoration. Pretty cool!
