Everything is very sleek and updated. Staff were overly accommodating. This is one of the only hotels with EV charging near where I am working right now. The EV chargers are brand new and I was the first person to use it. It was not the fault of the hotel whatsoever, it was an issue with the company that owns the applications/software/hardware for the charging stations. The hotel staff came out, without being prompted and did everything they could to help. The company that owns the EV charging was not at all helpful. They wanted me to play musical chairs with my car and move from stall to stall to stall. Needless to say at 12:30 in the morning after a 16 hour shift on Mother's Day, I wasn't too happy. The staff were overly patient and helpful. They called afterwards to apologize, even though it wasn't their fault. The customer service here is great. The continental breakfast also very good. This is likely going to be my new go to spot when I'm working in Clinton Township.

Before I checked in and upon arrival, the front desk asked if we were there for the pool. When I said yes, I was told the pool was closed until further notice and was advised to check nearby hotels instead. I was never notified in advance, despite the closure clearly being known. Because the pool was the primary reason for the stay, I asked whether any accommodation could be made, such as points or a reduction of the pet fee. This request was denied, and the interaction with staff was rude and dismissive, with no effort made to offer customer service or a resolution. In addition, I booked a suite, and while the room itself was nice and spacious, the cleanliness was disappointing. The blinds were extremely dirty with visible stains, and the walls had crust and what appeared to be dried boogers. This is unacceptable for a newer hotel. It is also concerning that the pool was already out of service so early into the hotel's life. Overall, this stay fell far short of expectations.

The bedding has rips and tears and the shower curtains were moldy. The mini fridge was filthy and in general the place overall was dirty. The absolute best thing that I have to say about this hotel is the fact that they allow their guests to bring their furry family members with us, however, they need to enforce the rules about having them pick up behind their pets as the grassy areas are riddled with fecal matter and that is a health hazard not only to humans but to the other visiting pets as well. They also do not charge a fee for you to bring your pets, AND they supply WASTE BAGS, therefore, there is no good reason for anyone to not pick up after their animals. The other good thing about this place are two of their Front Desk employees that I would like to acknowledge and that is Angelina and Keith. They were top tier and extremely helpful inspire of the horrendous conditions of the hotel. They did their best to make our stay as bearable and pleasant as possible and their efforts were appreciated. However, upper management and housekeeping must do better and the kitchen staff should not stare down the guests as they are making their "Complimentary Breakfast" as it makes them feel uncomfortable. And yes, we notice that every time WE walk in, you get up from your table and come stand in the food area to watch US. And the "Tip Jar" is tacky. I do not recommend this place unless you enjoy cleaning... which is what I had to do in order to be able to stomach my stay here. You may ask why did I not go elsewhere?
