I really do love this place, I do. So much that I drive 25 miles from Olympia to come here. Friendly staff and a good cut. Cash only 20$+ depending on what you want. However the past FIVE times I've shown up 30-120 minutes before they close, they have their "Not taking any more customers today" sign. Today is the 5th consecutive attempt to get my haircut, AND AN HOUR FORTY FIVE MINUTES BEFORE THEY CLOSE they're not taking anymore customers. On a Saturday. I get it's a small shop, and there is only 1-2 barbers on hand, but to drive a half hour and have a place turn away customers two hours before a place closes from the posted hours ((& there's no indication online anywhere saying they may already be closed)) is ridiculous. Lost my business because they're just unreliable if they'll be closing well before their posted hours. Time to hire another barber or three, modify your hours, or learn how to Internet and indicate that y'all may close up two hours before your normal hours depending on business, Donny/Danny/whatever the owner's name is. Consistently needing to call a business every time to ask "hey are you gonna close early?" Is ridiculous and a bad business model. read more

This place gives fairly good haircuts. The area doesn't have the most option and because of that this place is probably the best. A couple of things to note: the wait is usually long, they only take cash, and their gift certificates expire. I cut my hair myself but every once and awhile I like to go get it cut. I planned to go in a couple days but noticed the gift certificate I had expired. I find this totally ridiculous, like come on its not a coupon. Someone gave them money so I could go in and get a hair and Wards just decides that after so long they won't honor it. I don't know I just find that really shady. Just thought I'd make people aware. read more

Just what a barbershop should be. Walk in, short wait, very clean, tv, air purifier, comfortable chair and most important, a barber that listens and understands what the customer wants. I am very pleased with my haircut and the service provided. The price is fair....don't forget to tip well. I will definitely keep this place on my list of places to keep coming back to. read more

Went in thursday and he didnt even greet me and my son, we sat there for like 15 mins waiting to atleast be aknowledged and finally left. Ward is a magician when it comes to cutting hair. He cuts to standard not to time. If you are passing through Centralia and need a haircut Ward is worth the stop. I cannot recommend him enough!!! Donny has the best barber shop within a 100 miles. When he worked alone he provide great cuts with good conversation. He recently hired two new girls who have cut my hair and have done an excellent job as well. His latest girl cut my hair the morning of her first day. Honestly, she gave me one of the best comb over I have yet to receive. The only shop I've ever been too that I'm willing to sit in anyone's seat. read more

Stopped in last week while I was home on leave to get a haircut since I would be attending a Military ball as soon as I left Centralia. The owner is former Military and knows exactly how our hair needs to be done, and he cut mine to perfection. I also opted to have a full face shave and its been the best I've had so far, getting straight razor face shaves in San Diego, North Carolina and Florida I've had a wide horizon of experiences at barber shops, this being the best. I hope locals realize the bar has been raised by this new establishment. read more
