EDIT 11/16/24 yes, your response is correct. My apologies for being an a-hole. My fault for booking an appointment so close to my arrival back in town. I don't recall seeing any emails or notices when Josh left re:deposit money but nonetheless; absolutely not your problem. Zero stars. I paid $100 deposit back when Josh was still there and they were so gracious to schedule me for a new appointment with my hundred dollar deposit last week however I was in York and didn't get home until late. I called them before my appointment time and told them what had happened, they basically said too bad. So I'm out of bucks. Well keep it and I hope you do good and your business as well because this is bullshit customer service. Oh and I'm sure to post a negative review over 100...not happening "lucky". Wow. Tyler was amazing! I gave him the most vague rough idea of what I wanted and he came up with probably the most badass tattoo I have! He was funny and nice, made me feel super comfortable and was just overall amazingly talented. The whole shop has a great vibe. It's parlor style but does not have biker parlor vibe at all. Heard some tunes I haven't jammed to since high school. And the whole staff walked by checking to see how I was doing throughout my 3 hours on his table. Aaron did an amazing job with my nose piercing! When I walked in I was greeted by the front tattoo artists then taken back to the piercing area, which is through a different door. The vibe and music in this room is extremely relaxing, clean, and perfectly decorated. He showed me the glass case where the jewelry is aesthetically stored and answered all of my questions. He explained the process then made sure I liked where he placed the marking for the piercing. Aaron's charisma creates an environment filled with warmth and friendliness. After he pierced my nose, it was clear that he has a gift. I didn't flinch and my eyes barely even watered. Sure, a needle just went through my nose but it wasn't bad AT ALL. I've had my nose pierced once before and I was blown away by my experience with Aaron. The best part is he let me choose a sucker from the vintage armadillo bag. Thanks dude! I won a gift certificate to this shop back in May at a movie showing in Centralia. I finally got to come back today after scheduling an appt a few weeks ago and had emailed Alex about what I wanted, where, etc. By the time I got there, Alex had a stencil ready and I just had to sign some paperwork. Alex was funny, professional and very personable; he was really cool to work with and I'm VERY picky about who tattoos me! He also did an amazing and efficient job on my tattoo in just 1 hour! My Mom and I had tickets to a movie showing at 2pm and Alex was great about getting me in and out with a beautiful tattoo. I love the laid back vibe of the shop and the guys here are so very cool. Aaron did a fine job with my piercing. Very clean, sterile, followed covid protocols. But once it was time to change to the jewellery I wanted, or for anything else, I've had ZERO follow up. It's been almost 2 months since I've tried to get that ball rolling. IMO, that's a piercing half done. Im pretty disappointed that I'll have to get up to Olympia now to get some other jewelry. I've come here for two ear piercings. The employees are all very friendly and knowledgable, however, for both my rook and helix piercings they pierced through a blood vessel. I don't remember the woman's name who pierced my rook but I know Alex pierced my helix. This doesn't seem to be dangerous (or even painful), but it is a pain in the ass to pick off dried blood in the morning from your ear and clean up what appears to have been a murder scene. I wouldn't advise against going here because of how nice the people and place are, but do what you can to not get any piercing through a blood vessel. read more
