His responses were dismissive and showed very little empathy or understanding of his responsibilities as a seller. I had to escalate the issue to TCGplayer Customer Service, who confirmed what I had been saying from the beginning: my purchase is protected under the TCGplayer Safeguard, and I will be refunded if the shipment does not arrive. This experience left me with the impression that protecting his profit mattered more than helping a customer or earning repeat business. Problems happen, but how a seller handles them says everything. I will not purchase from this seller again.

We noticed that people were smoking just outside the barber shop next door, so maybe the problem is the airflow being brought in from there. I don't know, but this problem definitely needs to be fixed because it's just going to ruin the entire stock otherwise. They've got a sign up that says "Now Smoke Free" but... We buy A LOT of boardgames. Definitely wanted to have this be our main shop, and still do. Like I said, everything about it is amazing. But I'm not gonna spend money on games that are saturated with cigarette stank. I really hope they can get this fixed.

You have to go inside and up a set of stairs, then down the hall to Comic Junction's suite. It's very low grade and nothing at all fabulous so it's easy to feel like you're in the wrong place. But what Comic Junction lacks in visual appeal it makes up for in the many different comics and knick knacks it sells, and the super sweet owner. He is totally a big comic nerd and it was awesome. I had so much fun looking through everything and chatting with him about some different issues and hero's and such. He really lights up when you start talking comics- you can just see how much he loves everything comics and his passion and enthusiasm for what he does. He's in the right business, that's for sure. And definitely check out the extremely special edition comics he keeps behind the register- sooo uber cool. Like I said, my inner nerd really showed out here. Don't play at Paradox if you have any kind of social issues. They won't bother to ask you anything.

I was expecting emulators,and was pleasantly surprised to be wrong. We played Super Smash Bros and Mario Kart on the Nintendo 64 during our 1 hour time. The controllers were kept in good working condition, which I must applaud. Seating was not great for 4 people - the chairs were too wide to properly fit us all in front of the screen. There was also not a good warning system for how long we had been playing, which is unfortunate since they charge by the hour. I also was disappointed that the games were saved in essentially not-yet-played state, meaning we did not have access to all of the characters in Super Smash Bros, for example. Lastly: pricing/value. You pay by the hour per person, regardless of whether you play together on the same console or each on different machines. It's clearly an effective way to keep the lights on, but it felt expensive for our specific use case of 4 people only occupying one console/space. There are other options for day passes or bundles or whatever, but we did not intend to stay long enough to extract the value from that.
