The woman I spoke to, Heather, was so upbeat, friendly, and informative. It is clear that Heather loves her job, is sociable, personable, and literally embodies every quality someone in customer service should have. After having such a pleasant experience with Heather on the phone, I decided to go in. The tanning salon was neat, clean, and had plenty of different options for customers. Heather made suggestions for different packages and lotions that were available, however she did so in a very professional manner and I did not feel like I was being pressured or sold to. For my first visit, I tanned for 8 out of the maximum 10 minutes. Even after one visit, I had a significant amount of color, without being burnt and overexposed. I'll definitely be a regular here. I've been going to different places for *years*- I remember the days when those Mystic Tan booths were the best we could do (ugh). Things have come a long way since then, but - trust me - no current option comes anywhere CLOSE to the awesomeness that is Aglow. The most important factor for me is a natural look. Like I said, I do this mid-winter and I'm fair-skinned. Kara and her fellow geniuses at Aglow have helped me to figure out the exact right way to get that healthy, subtle tint without anyone stopping in their tracks to say "Whoa, did you just come back from vacation?!" The formulation is perfect - no hint of orange, just looks like an actual tan (a light one, in my case). They can customize to whatever you want, and take the time to figure it out. The Rapid Tan is great - rinse off in 2-3 hours instead of worrying about messing it up or leaving fake tan everywhere you go. I'm also pretty shy, so stripping down in front of a stranger with a (spray) gun can be very intimidating. The staff at Aglow is warm and friendly, which puts you at ease, but also super efficient. They know what they are doing and get you in and out within 15 minutes, tops. As a busy working mom, that is super important and appreciated. The online scheduling also makes everything super easy. The owner, Kara, is one of the nicest human beings I've had the pleasure of meeting. I cannot recommend this place enough. Go - treat yourself! You won't be sorry.

I went to there to get me hair fixed, I use to have extensions which causes a lot of breakage, and my hair was all different lengths. I have recently gone and wasn't too surprised to find that the Bed which was assigned to me needed some repairs. Who wants to be in a tanning bed while the "fan" is making ridiculous noises?! It's not the experience I've had at other places, like Hollywood Tans. But this is close and I like to support local business. The service I chose was a spray tan. I was offered no barrier cream for the spray process, which took place in a back room--definitely not the sweet little set up they have at chains like Bronzed. My feet day-glo orange in the morning, and I'm just grateful my hands escaped the same fate. It would have been a better idea to go at myself with self-tanning cloths.
