I really wanted to like this place. It was clean, the price was right, and the owner was very, very sweet. I received an airbrush tan last night, and unfortunately I woke up this morning and could see the splotches in the DARK. My legs were not good - big areas of white, and an overall unevenness. My hands were the worst though, and of course - up front and center. After my shower I scrubbed my hands with lemon and salt, and eventually took a pumice to my hands to try to get off it off. LOVE LOVE LOVE After my original salon closed, I had a package over at Sundeck II, they were so kind to transfer our existing packages to Glo. At first I was a little sad because no one beat the price of the Level III at Sundeck II and the bed was awesome. I'd go like 2x after not going for a while and be back to end of summer tan (which I loved) but anyways after using my existing days at Glo, I ended up purchasing a month in the Max 10. It is semi-expensive but she offers coupons on the website, which are a must use. The owner is so nice. I went to Glo Tanning because I wanted some base color before a trip to Florida. It was easy to get to, there is plenty of street parking. I had no problem making my appointment for the time that was convenient for me. Inside, it was clean and professional. I decided to get the lightest spray tan because I am very fair. I had never gotten one before, so Jillian made me feel very comfortable. I was flattered by the amount of compliments I got on my spray tan when I went out that night! It's nice and bronze, not orangey (I got the full body one). The owner, Jillian, is so friendly and informative. Will definitely be coming back to this place soon! P.S. Glow tanning was phenomenal! On a whim 3 days before my wedding I decided to get a spray tan. Their reviews were amazing. I called and left a message. The owner returned my call with in 10 mins. They were able to see me that night. Now I've never been sprayed before. So it was super awkward for me to be topless in front of a stranger. I wish I could remember the girls name (she had an accent, originally from Puerto Rico I think. Gave me great honeymoon tips!) she was awesome! She made me feel so comfortable! Chatty and friendly the whole time. I received the lightest formula, which was still pretty dark on me (pale Irish skin) but it looked fantastic. It did fade a little after my next shower. But left me with the perfect glow they said it would! I looked and felt amazing on my wedding day. I went to Glo for a spray tan and was super impressed with the place. First: it is very clean. This is very important in a place where stuff could be passed from one person to another. I noticed as I walked by the tanning rooms there were little signs on the beds that said there were freshly disinfected, I thought that was great. Second: She used a good brand, quality product. I know product. I own a salon and I know what is good expensive product and what is cheap product and she is using a very good product and great equipment to do her spray tans with (this is soooo important cheap product for a spray tan will turn you orange and a cheap air gun will leave you speckled). Third: she actually airbrushes the tan on. It is not a booth that you stand in, it is evenly sprayed on your body. This is so much better than the booths that you stand in that blast the product out at you and turn your entire feet orange. Lastly, the owner Jill is a very nice girl. Went a week ago for a spray tan and it came out awesome! The lady who did it was so nice too! It's important to shower using a body scrub to exfoliate before you go (which they tell you) and to be careful for an hour or so after. She also tells you to use a baby wipe to wipe your palms and bottom of feet after. It looked great for the dress I needed to wear and I can still see it faintly after countless showers! Great place to tan! Great hours, local and conveinent - you're in and out. Glo has great pricing and is always running specials. If you haven't already, like them on FaceBook. The owner is always sending out sales and promotions. They have different types of beds/booths to tan in and they even offer custom airbrush spray tanning. Absolutely nothing like getting sprayed in those stand-up booths! They will make you the exact color you want to be and if you want to go darker, just take a peek in the mirror and let them know. It's totally custom and perfect for those occassions where you don't have the time to tan or simply don't want to. I just moved to the area and this place drew me in with great prices and good hours. But the owner and the staff really keep me coming back not to mention the beds gave me a deep tan super quick. I cannot understand how a tanning salon can have such minimal hours! They are closed on Sunday and Monday. Saturday, probably the busiest day of the week is not opened till 11 and closes at 4!!! I think it would make sense to hire part time help so they could have longer hours. There are no hooks in any of the rooms for your clothing which is annoying. read more

Went to Glo Tanning before I went on Vacation. After a long winter I was so pale and Glo gave me great base tan before I hit that strong sunshine. Having a sunburn can ruin your whole vacation. I have been to Glo on multiple occasions and I have nothing to say but positive things! Jillian has always been helpful whether recommending specific spray tan products, actual tanning beds and always making sure if I get a spray that it comes out perfectly. She sprayed me right before my wedding and it came out flawless, nowhere close to the "orange" some people have fears about and was really just a light glow as I am fair. I have to say, any streaking that would happen would be from the individual not following directions correctly and Jillian always has advice to keep the most natural look!
