Incredible firm to guide me through my chaotic divorce. Down…read moreto earth, caring individuals, who are very apparently in the field for the right reasons: to help others. Nathan Jones was not only professional & quick to respond to emails, but he showed immense compassion towards my experience. If he knew he would be busy & may be unresponsive; he consistently held courtesy to let me know the day prior. There are so many law firms to search through on Google, which is stressful when you're already experiencing enough stress. I feel very fortunate to have stumbled across one of the best ones.

I had a consultation with an attorney whom I absolutely loved speaking with. He was kind, caring,…read moreand offered such supportive advice I practically hired him on the spot. He was unscertain about a couple of issues he wanted to double check with another attorney whom he said knew more about registered domestic partnerships, and asked that I give him a days notice before signing with them. I was ecstatic, I thought my search for an attorney was finally over! Unfortunately, I never heard from him again. I sent a follow-up email to the general business, I called, and got nothing. No response. My friend who had referred me, gave me his specific email - nothing. I called one last time and got the attorney my friend was using only to find out he wasn't the one I'd spoken with (I had conversed with several attorneys and had not written his name down as all others had sent follow up paperwork & I had assumed this would go the same way)....... anyway, I spoke with my friend's attorney & asked him if he could speak with the attorney I'd spoken to because I wanted to hire him or would have to go with someone else due to time constraints. I never received a call back. I guess what I'd like to say is that if they couldn't have taken me on as a client I never should had been offered a consultation (which I paid for btw & believe I should be refunded for). Perhaps they were not comfortable taking on a domestic partnership case? I don't know, but It would have been nice to have been offered an explanation as to why no one ever got back to me, or as to why you would offer someone a consultation and sound so positive about representing someone and then never bother to respond again? It is just absolutely not a way to do business, or treat someone in this type of situation. Incredibly disappointing.

Wish I could leave no stars. My late mother had a will done by this company. I have left messages…read moreover the last almost month now .No calls back. Think it's time to call the Oregon bar and complain.

Similar to another reviewer, I was gravely disappointed…read more I was recommended to Sandford Zeitz from the father of a friend who was an ex-lawyer and knew him through a networking organization. My initial confrontation with Zeitz was find, very straightforward and we discussed the case in question. However, the benefits stopped there. Yes, the background work was done, as far as I know, but phone calls didn't get returned when I requested them, though there were not many, so that's a problem. When I emailed, I also did not get responses though I continued with my Chiropractic treatment and thought, "Well, I'll get in touch when I'm nearing completion". After I completed my treatment, and still no replies, I had to drive over there. They made excuses and said they normally respond via email, although I pointed out I had tried that route, and they backpedaled making excuses. Fine, I'd give them another chance. I told them I had completed treatment, and needed attention. I was informed that Zeitz was on vacation for several weeks, and was told he'd be back in 2. I called 3 weeks later and was told Mr. Zeitz was still on vacation. Nope. I jumped ship and found a much better lawyer willing to work for their 30%. In short, expect to be treated like a passing thought. "You're not important to us", is what their actions showed me. Personal attention? Nope, and you'll be lucky if you show up and anyone is actually in their untidy little office, near a fairly sketchy part of town, and expect lots of placation and excuses. I don't know about anyone else, but I work hard for my money and I expect people who work for me to also work hard and keep up with the situation so I don't have to run around playing phone tag, because forcing me to do this, is detrimental to my busy schedule and highly disrespectful to me as a client.
