Why don't they close at the posted 8:30 time and then clean and close up the shop? It was so cold outside and not enjoyable to eat with the chemical smells in the shop. Such a disappointment.

The course is creative and none of the holes are banked the same. It's great for younger children also, because it is not too complex. Not sure if the lights automatically turn off at 8:55 pm, but it would be useful to have them on until your golfers complete the course. We had to use our flashlights for hole 17 and 18. Loved the decor and enjoyed the Saratogian history. If you're visiting, this is a great way to have a crash course in local history. There is an overlook to the waterfall near hole 8/9 so if you need a break before the back 9, you've got it! Some of the pole stands could use some assistance with cleaning (have some kind of moss on some of them, specifically hole 7 stand).

The beef in my Thai Ginger was tender, flavorful, and abundant. The dish was colorful with red onions, broccoli, and carrots. I thought the broth could have used more flavor, but mixing the flavorful brown rice into the broth helped. The menu showed two peppers for spiciness but I did not notice any spiciness. My one criticism, which I guess is really a complaint against capitalism, is that gas prices vary in price fairly substantially based on competition, or the lack thereof. It annoys me that gas can be ten-fifteen cents lower per gallon at a station only a few miles from my local shop. Since the spike in gas prices overall, the spread seems to have lessened. Price should be based on their cost, not because there isn't another brand nearby.

For me, it's fine for something like filling the gas can for my mom's lawn mower. But if you aren't running on empty, consider driving a little farther for gas. For example, it's almost always about 15 cents a gallon cheaper near Ballston Spa.
