If you go for a ball joint, they will sell you control arms. They will say, it will be impossible to do the job without the upgrade. They prefer to use their source for parts because they make upwards of 30% on that brand. Lastly, they will charge you $50 for 2 rags and 1.00 worth of break fluid. My advise, go somewhere else for the same price.

I'm glad I got over my doubts, because they did an excellent job! I was due for a 20k mile service, and with travel coming up, I couldn't wait a week for the closest VW dealer (where I'm visiting) to take my car in. The VW dealer also told me that once they saw me, it would take at least two hours, and when I had further questions, they sent me to a service advisor's voicemail! I called Warren Tire around 1:45 PM, and they could take me in for a synthetic oil change and tire rotation by 4 PM that same day. You can't ask for anything more, especially in a rural area. I will say they didn't have the 5w40 synthetic oil that I wanted, but 5w30 is also within VW specs and they of course had that. Tires were all rotated just fine, and unlike other shops, they didn't leave any schmutz on the inside or outside of my car. As others have mentioned, you wouldn't expect to find a modern auto service center in what frankly appears to be a crumbling old railroad depot from the outside. This old railroad depot lends a nice historical ambiance compared to the generic boxes you'll see everywhere else. The AC was ice cold on a humid 95 degree day, and the restrooms are clean. I had my car back in less than an hour! $60 for synthetic oil change and $22 for tire rotation, came to a shade under $90 after taxes and fees. Not the cheapest, but less than the VW "stealership" and extremely convenient. I'd come back to Warren Tire in Whitehall anytime. You probably won't wait long, but if you need to, there's a nice canal front area to walk along, a CVS, and a couple of local eateries (deli, Chinese, and a tavern) within walking distance.

That the power steering fluid was leaking from the brake booster onto the brakes that it needed a tail pipe and a CV boot, the axle was good. That it has a misfire and was running rough. I assumed that this included Tires Brake booster repair and inspection. I was told that the rims were bad n couldn't be used so I would need 4 Tires as there was 2 new tires on the vehicle. U was told to save me some money that they could switch the tires to the other rims and would only need 2 new tires . But the installed the bad Rims with the old tires after being told they were no good . I told em to put new front shocks in as well They had the vehicle 16 days The total amount was 5,104.76. NO NEW TIRES NO NEW BRAKE BOOSTER (STILL LEAKING). NO NYS INSPECTION. I paid the bill and drove the truck home 8 miles. It drove worse then when I brought it in . Resulting from the bad Rims stud holes being worn and egg shaped They replaced the Thermostat and it was leaking anti freez all over the intake manifold, power steering fluid leaking onto the F/L brakes a total death trap costing over 5 thousand dollars. I call NYSP to complain But was told that because I had passenger plates on my k3500 truck that there DOT officers would not inspect the vehicle and to contact DMV to seek further complaints. Was told that it was a civil matter and I should get a lawyer. However they did confirm that the shop should not have left the old inspection sticker on the truck and allowed it to be operated while not properly inspected. This is Pure Negligence, Criminal Negligence, potentially causing criminally Negligent Homicide. Just like the limo crash . What if it was you or your children that gets killed in a crash because the steering and brakes were faulty and the auto facility allowed it to be Driven? Somebody should be arrested. Pure criminal Negligence Inspection license should be revoked ! Do yourself a favor , FIND ANOTHER SHOP ! DO NOT PATRONIZE!

But again I say OK as long as I can drive it Go out to drive it in my car stuck in the parking brake can't even move it my husband had to get it out now they're trying to say oh maybe it's the parking brake really because that wasn't an issue Then today I have to go to urgent care because I got something in my finger I go to leave and now my tire is up in to my wheel well. I know I did have certain worked on yes control arms ball joints and they said it's all good to go yet this fucking happens I gave them $1329 and now I might not even have a car at the end of us and they already cash the check before I can stop payment.
