I gladly go a cross the street to the Shell near the Taco Bell where I'm not only welcomed but often thanked for making the area feel safe by those that drive through. If your clientele won't come into your store because of a law enforcement presence then you may not want that clientele there. It's very well known that this establishment is not LEO friendly.

She is basically a librarian of beverages. Her knowledge runs deep and she genuinely knows the story, flavor profile, and use for just about every bottle in the shop. Conversations here feel natural and educational, not salesy. A quick heads up for anyone not from Alabama, the state government makes things messy when it comes to alcohol taxes and pricing. That is not on Lenell. She clearly does her best to keep prices reasonable, but the regulations and taxes make it challenging. Knowing that, the value is still there when you look at the quality and uniqueness of the selection. And the selection is what really stands out. It is curated, thoughtful, and downright impressive. I was able to pick up several bottles I have never seen before anywhere else. This is not a grab a bottle and leave type of store. This is a browse, ask questions, discover something new kind of place.
