Absolutely the best subs in, Mansfield, Ashland, Wooster, or anywhere . I love the Roman sub and I add mild yellow banana peppers and mushrooms. It is killer, jammed full and overflowing with meats, cheeses, vegetables, and sauce. Nowhere else have I gotten such a filling sub for the amount of money. If you haven't ate here yet, you are really missing terrific food for a great price ! Alot of bang for the buck here. This is an award winning pizza place with a rotating sherbet flavor. You can come for the ice-cream, but you are here for the amazing pizza. Try the GPS (Green pepper, pepperoni, sausage) or the Pepperoni Melt with it's over the top amount of pepperoni. They have an awesome sauce on their pizzas that is just the right blend of herbaceous and sweet. The calzones are my go-to and I highly recommend them, but eat with a friend. Even the small is too much for one person. The Chicken Parm sub is outstanding, but if you get it, eat it there. It suffers from transportation and you won't get the right crispy chicken exterior and saucy unctuousness if you let it sit in a bag for the trip home. read more

We ordered pizza tonight and the sauce tastes sickeningly sweet. They have overloaded it with sugar and have no other spice flavor in it. I am pretty easy-going with pizza and I found this to be nearly inedible. Their ice cream is awesome and service is great, just beware if you don't like mega mega sweet sauce because this won't be for you!! read more

I'm not sure what would bring you to little Ontario, Ohio but if you happen to be in the area, the Warrior is a great place to get pizza. We got a meat lovers pizza. It was not only super affordable, but also was absolutely loaded with delicious toppings. There were more toppings than most places put on pizzas, that's for sure. I must be the only person this place absolutely always hands order dripping all over the place. The1st time, I was handed a chocolate soda with the lid not on completely. It was spilling out of the cup when they handed it to me and then, the lid came off completely spilling chocolate sofa into my Audi's perforated leather seats! That was a couple months ago. Last night I decided to give them another chance. I ordered a chocolate sundae. I heard one worker tell another one to just use hot fudge topping. I corrected the employee emphasizing I ordered a sundae with vanilla ice cream and regular chocolate syrup. They signaled they understood. Again I was handed a dripping product. It was so melted when I got to my home 10 minutes away, it was all over me and my car. The topping was thick hot fudge topping, not regular chocolate syrup. I am done with the way this place cares nothing about what they serve. Can't even put a lid on correctly. read more

Big thumbs up for Warrior Pizza located in the middle of nowhere in Ohio. I was taken here by some friends who moved to the area. We had a garlic pepperoni pizza - it was delicious, medium thickness crust, etc. This place is great: great hometown ambience, delicious pizzas (lots of unique varieties) and ice cream creations. The best shredded chicken sandwiches in town! The pizza is delicious too, especially if you let it cool off a few minutes so the square slices turn into a gelatinous brick of cheesy goodness. And of course, on those hot summer Ohio nights, get yourself some ice cream. The new owner has done a nice job retaining what made this place a success while keeping it clean. We stopped for ice cream two days in a row! The apple dumpling sundae is amazing. The combo of hot and cold is really well done. Just order one and enjoy. It's a really generous portion, I couldn't finish the whole thing. They have a drive thru which moved quickly and they're very friendly. My only complaint was the lighting inside was so bright that it hurt my eyes. The ice cream is worth the lighting :-) read more

Excellent pizza! We have eaten many pizzas during our day. We stopped here for the first time today and found the employees so friendly, very informational and the pizza was so good. After ordering we took a seat and we watched as the food went by our table (being served to others) looked delicious! Warrior Pizza and Ice Cream has such a large selection of food on their menu and the food prices were very reasonable. Make this a place to stop this summer. There is something for everyone on this menu so, we will have to stop again and again, . We can't wait to stop again. This time we will save room for ice cream (it looked irresistible). This is my favorite pizza in town. They have great sub sandwiches too. Get there early so you can find a place to sit, or you'll be out of luck. The food is always fresh and delicious. They also have wonderful ice cream, including awesome sherbet flavors, the best turtle sundae around, root beer floats and old fashion hard dip ice cream. Best place for pizza and ice cream family friendly atmosphere. If you come during busy hours you will have a wait as to be expected making fresh foods. Great owner who really cares about what he does. The pizza has more of a sweet sauce so if you are looking for more of a tart or really cheap pizza this is not really the place to go. The place is small but very nicely decorated. The food was good nothing amazing, especially for the time it takes to get it. I will say that the staff is very young or at least seems that way. They make no eye contact, a few of them kept touching their faces and one preceeded to pick at her chin then without hesitation picked up a pizza box and got an order together. I also witnessed multiple people handling money and then going to the back and prepare pizzas. They used their shirts to wipe their hands, the girls hair, while under a hat, draped across their faces and hovered over the food being prepared. There just seems to be no supervision or concern for hand washing. I gave 2 stars because the ice cream was good but I won't be back based on how the preparation and unkept look overall in the kitchen. Basic customer service and food handling training would make this place at least 4 stars. read more

Recently picked up a couple of large cheese pizzas that I ordered online through their website. Crust and sauce are made fresh daily and it really shows. I definitely prefer the Papa's Gondola cheese pizza, but this is VERY good as well. Will definitely come back of try more of their offerings - I'm looking forward to it :) read more

We come here quite often the pizza melt is amazing as well as the ice cream! Family-owned little pizza joint friendly environment and we love the outside seating. We drive a little further away and pass a couple other ice cream shops on the way but this is hands-down the best one! read more
