Second, the bread basket contained 8 rolls for a table set for 10. Meanwhile only one bar was open generating excessive lines and inability for many to get a drink before being instructed to sit for the event. The biggest failure came with the main course, that not only was served over 2 HOURS late, but was inedible. My dish, including pasta and chicken, was not only cold, but the pasta had been left out for hours and was starting to dry out providing for an unpleasant texture. Additionally the chicken was over cooked and did not resemble anything close to chicken piccata. At this point I left the event in disappointment as we were now approaching 9:30 pm with no desert in site. I hope a refund was considered by the club for this event.

At the point you can walk out to the end of the breakwater, a favorite fishing spot, walk along the paved path, or just come and enjoy the magnificent oceans views and gaze out at the Sakonnet Light House. This is Little Compton's most southern point with westerly views of Middletown and Newport and a southerly view of the lighthouse. Sakonnet Harbor is postcard prefect and has a launch for kayaks or canoes at the beginning of the breakwater. This is truly a RI gem and a must see.
