So I've been here a handful of times now but this was by far my favorite event. Surprise 70th birthday party! Clean, great service, yummy dinner and desserts! We had a Photo Booth and DJ there and that was a hit! The entire family had a great time!! (Kiddos too!!) This was a TERRIBLE golf experience! See pics of the fairways and greens attached. I understand courses can catch a disease and it ruins all aspects of the course but to charge $90 with no prior notice while booking is a DISGRACE! Due to my work/travel schedule, I only get to play once every couple of weeks. This ruined it for me and I will NEVER be back and will make sure others don't go as well. The owners should be ashamed! The staff is always available my wife and I. Once in a while I will need a private room for a meeting and they set it up in great style with wonderful service. The food is never a disappointment. One meeting last month we had 20 people in the Victorian room, and it all went great. This week I need a private room for three people and Lauren set it up for us. Valley Country Club is open to the public for lunch and dinner. They have specials Wednesday-Saturday. We went in on a Wednesday night for $9 burger night. We were a party of four and we all ordered different burgers. All of them were cooked perfectly how we ordered them and everything was fresh. I liked the Avocado Burger with goat cheese the best. All burgers were served with fries or fresh vedge of the day. Domestic Beers were advertised for $3 each, but they actually were a little less than that. Captain's Daughter on draft was almost $8 each and an espresso martini was $11.11. All in all, it was a good night out, the bartender was great company, the food was good and we didn't break the bank. We will definitely will try it on another night to try some more specials on another night. Oh yeah, there was also live music too. read more

It was a great meal here at the Valley Country Club. There was a function going on, which did make it uncomfortable to walk up the stairs to the restaurant, and we even thought about going elsewhere, but we tried another door, and got in with no issue. It was a holiday weekend, and there were many golfers at the restaurant/bar. We are not golfers, so felt a bit like an outsider. Our waitress, however, was very welcoming. My husband ordered beef tips, and said they were delicious. He chose mash potatoes and veg as his sides. He also got a Cesar salad. I had chicken Parm, which I realized I had the last time I was here! They had specials, and have a cocktail list along with a pretty extensive wine and beer selection. The food here is excellent. If you ever have the opportunity to come here for a function (which I have), or just to come to the restaurant, you won't be disappointed! read more

The service was great and the people kind, the food was immaculate and plentiful, would absolutely consider planning here again!

We had my daughters baby shower here and can not say enough about the attention given to us to make sure everything was perfect. The place was set up very nice with attention paid to every detail. We had picked out food for a brunch which was top notch and plenty for the group of 50 plus people. Everyone from the manager to the wait staff were friendly and attentive. A special shout out to the bartender who was super and kept everyone's drink filled. All and all we would highly recommend the Valley Country Club for any events you may be having as they made everything perfect for my daughter's special day. We have also eaten here many times on different occasions and the food and waitstaff are always wonderful. Give them a try you won't be sorry. read more

Not exactly what I expected from this club. This was the second time playing the course and its obvious the grounds crew took the day off. Fairways were in decent shape yet the first cut from fairway had not been cut in at least a week. Grass was incredibly high and needed to be cut, I can't tell you how many balls my foursome lost due to the shot that got lost in second cut from fairway. Needless to say, I'm not impressed with this club. read more

The service tonight was unbelievably slow. I am unsure if this is due to the kitchen or waitstaff, but the waiting times between ordering and getting courses was unacceptable. Chowder needed seasoning, pasta sauce was good. I'm disappointed by my experience tonight but will get take out in the future. read more

Located in Warwick, RI , Valley County Club is a private golf facility with an 18-hole course designed by golf course architects Geoffrey Cornish & Ian Scott- Taylor. The course plays over 6,600 yards from the back tees with a par of 72 . The course rating is 72.6 and it has a slope rating of 128 on Bent grass. Small, lightning-fast greens are the hall mark of this course. Ask anyone about Valley and they will undoubtedly remark about the speed of the greens. The course is in terrific shape, with the tee boxes, fairways and greens all being pristine. They have a putting green and driving range. The clubhouse was renovated only a few years ago and is very nice. The locker rooms are spacious and well-appointed. The bar and dining area are very nice as well and there is some outdoor seating. And, while the course is private, they are, like several private courses, looking for members. That being the case, the current deal being offered is not bad at all. Play unlimited golf for only $325.00 per month. There may be other requirements, but overall for a private course that is a pretty good deal. read more

Golf course is nice but the geofence is arranged where you are way to far from the green and must move to cart path. Slows down play. Speaking of slowing down play, one of the "owners" saw someone from our group take a mulligan off the tee and had his sights on us from that point on as "slowing down play". If he was really watching what was happening he might have noticed that we waited in each the first four holes but instead mouthed off to us when my son took a provisional. WARNED my son that he wasn't going to be told again not to take two shots off the tee. Big old fat donut boy who could barely walk. Once play opened up they were a full hole and a half behind us and couldn't keep up. We will NEVER play there again. Yeah...owner. We know the backstory of the club dickwad. read more

Play golf there the course is in great shape but don't eat there the food is awful and the service is worse.

Nice course but never giving them my money again. My group was ACCOSTED on the 5th tee by one of the "owners" (aka member) who was in the 4-some behind us because one in my 3-some was hitting a provisional after hooking his 1st tee shot over the pond into the bushes. He had driven up to the tee behind us and sat there as we were waiting to tee off and the rest of his group still putting on the 4th green. As our mate was trying to hit his provisional this bag of donuts roared up to us, yelling that we can't play more than one ball, we were warned about this, we're holding everyone up, etc, etc. This after they could easily see that we were waiting on every shot up until that point. And shortly after that we had 1 hole and 1/2 behind us open. NEVER playing there again. read more

Was there last night for a Wedding, very nice clean facilities. The Beef dinner I had mixed feelings about. The beef itself was great and a very large piece, the broccoli was very good too, not overcooked, perfect slight crunch. However, the mashed potatoes were literally like glue. I'm not sure how you can even get that off texture, maybe they were mashed cold. But, overall, a good time and good venue for a wedding. read more

We had my daughters wedding here and EVERYTHING was perfect. Not only was it a pretty day but the location on the golf course & for the pictures was so pretty. The staff was friendly and attentive to all of my daughters wishes & our guests on her special day. HORRIBLE experience. Our waitress was MIA most of the evening. She was young and inexperienced and clearly not trained well. We noticed the manager bending over backwards for tables where club members were sitting. We waited a looong time for drinks and food. People around us were getting served and tables were turning over. We noticed other diners who had our waitress were upset as well. Hostess and Manager came by a couple of times but we quickly tired of hearing about restaurant issues, Covid, shortages etc. We were there to relax and clearly were not able to! If was that bad, why were the entire inside and outside dining areas open? Why not close off a part of the restaurant to allow staff to catch up? Also, my friend was charged $30 to book the table because of the band playing. Nowhere on the website or Facebook page was that mentioned. Of course we left without ever going over to watch the band. On the way out we heard multiple people complaining about the same issue. Poorly managed restaurant all the way around. Oh, and don't bother to leave a review on their Facebook page. They will delete it and remove you from the page! Clearly they don't want this getting around...too late! read more

Course is in excellent shape. Challenging for low handicappers and the forward tees keep it interesting for the high handicapper. Greens a fast and receive balls well. No easy par 3's. Scenic with easy access in central RI minutes from TF Green airport. The grill provide a great menu selection and the chef will be happy to meet special needs or orders. Choice of draft beers is good. The pro staff was friendly and helpful. I look forward to playing there many times. read more
